It is unfortunate that the guest here is blaming on listing inaccuracy for not giving us a 10/10 review because she didn’t pay attention to the lay out of the downstairs bedrooms, well described in our Vrbo listing, while reserving. The layout is well described underneath the photos of the bedrooms in the listing. I have now added it to the property details also in all caps so that future guests wouldn’t be unhappy. The entrance to the downstairs 4th bedroom is through a door in the 3rd bedroom. 4th bedroom has no separate entrance. Downstairs bathroom is off of 4th bedroom. Guests in the 3rd bedroom can conveniently use upstairs bathroom off of the living room without disturbing anyone else in any other bedrooms because the stairs to upstairs is in the 3rd bedroom.

Funky property with plenty of room for family of 5 adults; great location for us - close to airport, close to family, and overlooking peaceful lake (with use of kayaks). Enjoyed huge living area, great for hanging out.

Great little trip

We enjoyed our time visiting this home and the host was extremely helpful. Plenty of bedrooms, full kitchen, and comfortable living room. Unfortunately, the dock was broken and unusable when we visited and there was basically no other safe way to get in the water. Overall a great stay!

Thank you so much. Sorry about the dock. I am on a waiting list with my dock contractor. It was supposed to be rebuilt in April but got delayed because of labor and supply chain issues. I have mentioned that dock is not usable in the first line of the description. It is projected to be done in August - September.

Ipe was an amazing host. He was so accommodating. He made sure everything was perfect. Checked on the temperature to be sure all was good and we were comfortable. Answered our texts immediately when we texted him. Our stay was lovely. The house was so quaint and perfect for a reunion of 7. The lake is so pretty. We enjoyed the water, sunsets and wild life out the sunroom windows. We could not have had a better time. We would stay there again when in the area. I give this review and the host an A. Thank you for taking such good care of us while we were there.

The host was perfect! Had one tiny hiccup and was immediately solved. The gathering spaces are wonderful and the house is near the end of the road in a peaceful neighborhood. Lots of wildlife was around for our trip.Sheets and towels were fresh and crisp. Plentiful games and a comfortable home.Pay attention to all the details; the bedroom layout is unique. All residents MUST be able to navigate stairs from the parking to the home.Would definitely stay here again.

Otis Family

This property was lovely for our family. We experienced a leak in our home and was displaced for about 5 weeks. Ipe was so accommodating for our family during an extremely stressful time. I definitely recommend this property for a nice peaceful get away. We are actually looking forward to visiting the property again for a nice little getaway, under less stressful conditions!

Family Vacation

We all loved our five night stay at this lake house! There were beautiful views in a very safe environment. The house was very clean and spacious. We loved that we could all sit in the living room comfortably as a family (7 of us) and enjoyed watching March Madness on the large tv. We also enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table with a view of the beautiful dock and a sweet goose that seemed to swim near the property everyday. We named him “Goosie”. We also enjoyed the close proximity to the airport and downtown Charlotte. Finally sitting on the dock is like a little piece of Heaven. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Birthday Staycation

Foe thw part 2 years I've been celebrating my birthday with intimate settings with my girlfriends. This year due to some personal concerns i decided to look for VRBOa at home in Charlotte. I wanted the feel of being away with the comfort of home. This place was it! I looked better in person and was simply perfect? There were 8 of us. The hist was so friendly and helpful. He even so7bke checked on us to make sure all was OK. The best part was it just felt like we were somewhere in the mountains but I was literally 14 minutes from my house in southwest Charlotte. We all decided afterwards that we'd explore gems in our own city more often? Thank you
