The house was horrible. The bones were great, but it was very dirty and rundown in many areas. Mini blinds were broken and did not reach the bottom of the window. Heat vents were rusted. Shower curtain had pink slime on it. Hair and dirt in the corners in the bathroom. Pots and pans in the kitchen had crust in the bottom and were unusable. No trash cans in bathrooms and no toilet paper upon arrival. All linens were very worn, towels, sheets and comforters. Very unkept. A little money could have fixed all of this and yet it wasn't done.

This house was perfect for our kids! They were so sad to leave they cried. They had decorations put up our of reach of little hands and plenty of fun toys and the outdoor play structure that was a blast. If your looking for a home your comfortable in with your children, this is the place to book!

House was just as posted in pics! Kids loved it, we couldnt take them away from the playing areas. Lexi, our host, was really supportive as well, we arrived a couple of hours earlier than our check-in time and helped us out, even waiving the fee. If you want a place to connect with nature, this is the place!

Very cozy house in a quiet neighborhood. Close to anything you’d need. Renters are very communicative and professional! It felt like a fantastic blend of a cozy home to stay, and a hotel experience!

2 STARS - Unresolved Maintenance Issues & Pest ProblemWHAT WORKED:We appreciated having a roof over our heads and the space for our family of 7 to gather. The layout was spacious, and we were able to reunite with family members traveling from different states to North Carolina. That alone kept this from a 1-star rating.WHAT FAILED: Zero trash bags at check-in for a 4-day stay with 7 people. Specifically requested bags from host on Day 1 evening. Garbage completely full by Day 2 with no disposal method for remaining 2 days, unsanitary conditions• Multiple flies and roaches present throughout the home. Root cause: No screen doors on front or back entrance. Pest problem worsened by overflowing trash Listing prominently features "Game/Movie Room w/ Projector" Non of the TVs would power on• Host instructions ("switch to upright position") did not come out or send help to resolve issue, paid for an amenity we could not use BEDROOM LIGHTING SAFETY HAZARD• Bedroom left of main bathroom has strobing/flickering light. Creates health and safety risk (seizure/migraine triggers) Guest had to sleep in darkness rather than use unsafe lighting; Unacceptable for family accommodationDay 1 (9:28 PM): Reported all Day 1 (11:00 PM): Host acknowledged, offered no solutions Day 2-3: Host did not resolve any issues. No follow-up, no maintenance visit You don't get your money's worth.

Cute, Quit Neighborhood

We stayed here with some of our dance friends for a competition at Fuquay High School. The neighborhood is charming and kid friendly. It’s a great location to town but yet feels so secluded. The host communication was great and she was able to suggest a fun afternoon activity after a morning of dancing. We appreciate you sharing your home with us!

Place was perfect for us. We pretty much just slept there and had breakfast as Family Thanksgiving get together is held in Apex so most meals, turkey trot, pickleball tourney and games are held there.

The house was nice but needed attention. The blinds were broken in the downstairs bedrooms and the washer made an awful noise. Hopefully the owners can look into the issues.

Just what we needed

We would definitely stay at this property again. It had plenty of beds and sleeping options for our family. My kids enjoyed playing with the toys and on the swing set outside. The house was very clean!

Nice cottage

We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space for everyone to sleep. The outside looks like it is small, but dont let that deceive you. Nice backyard for the kids to play as well. We were only there for a couple of days, but worth it.

We all had a great time, the kids enjoyed the play area, there was a little mud by play area outside and a tree hanging over fence, and the tv in the master bedroom didn't work, but over all we enjoyed ourselves there

Weekend Wedding

We enjoyed our stay at this house. We arrived waaay to early and the owners allowed us to check in early. They usually have an early check-in fee and they were gracious enough to waive the fee. The location was great. This is a house that is great for families with young children. Very accommodating.

The home was clean and as described. No issues except that bath towels located in the top of the closet in the master bath were damp. Very easy check in and check out. Plenty of room for entire party.

Choosing this neighborhood was an easy decision for us. The moment we saw our home—resembling a quaint cottage nestled among mature trees and perched on a large wooded lot—it felt like the perfect setting for our family. With nearly an acre of land, it offered ample space to plant fruit trees and cultivate a thriving garden, fulfilling our dream of a homestead lifestyle.

The location offers an ideal blend of convenience and tranquility. Being just outside the city limits of Fuquay Varina and Wake County, we enjoy close proximity to all the amenities one could need, yet we're free from the constraints of an HOA. This balance means we can enjoy the best of both worlds—urban convenience without the bustle.

What truly endears us to this community is its peacefulness and the genuine warmth of its residents. It's common to see neighbors strolling with their families or dogs, exchanging friendly waves as they pass by. The houses are thoughtfully spaced apart, providing a sense of privacy and space that invites relaxation and personal enjoyment.
