Beautifully maintained grounds with lined paths and small bridges.

Open areas perfect for snow play during the winter months.

Other Things to Note:

The city of Big Bear Lake does not allow any events at this location. Only to be used a vacation rental.

Hunter yearly family vacation

We chose to spend our family vacation and we were very fortunate to stay here. It. Was perfect for our family of 16. The rooms are all master bedrooms and we used the guest house which was perfect for the 11 and 13 year olds. The locations was close to everything and we could walk to the Main Street. I would definitely stay here again. We had a generator and that was wonderful as electricity was out for about 15 hours.

Thanksgiving family weekend

Perfect venue for families reconnecting. We had a wonderful time spending time playing outdoor and indoor activities. . Only con to property is that it houses 12-16 people but the gather room doesn’t hold more than 6 people comfortably.

Great Stay! Couple Hiccups but We Worked it Out!

The place was beautiful! I thought it would be more remote but it was very much so in a neighborhood. The place was gorgeous though! We had a couple of heating issues that we fixed pretty immediately. Overall the communication was great and it was an overall really awesome stay!

The good: Great location, very responsive host, allowed us to use the guest house for no additional charge. One of the only houses that can host a large party. The bad: The cabin is old and dirty. The carpets in the rooms are dirty, the curtains are dirty, the duvet covers are dirty. Most importantly, however, the hot tub was filthy and not usable. There was a layer of oil on the water. I took a video of it and some pictures and sent to the host and the host told us that they had serviced the hot tub just prior to our arrival. I can't think of a way that the water could have become that dirty unless someone else had used it. We were not able to use the hot tub for the duration of our stay. Lastly, the house is advertised to have 9 rooms. It's important to specifically state that 7 are in the house and 2 are in the guest house because there is an additional 500 fee to use that guest house (the host graciously waved it off).Will I stay there again? Unfortunately, I won't! The host is great but the house is in disparate need of some upgrades/cleaning.

We’re surprised and disappointed by this review, especially as we accommodated 20 of your guests, allowed an early check-in, and included the guest house fee at no additional charge. Since it was never paid in advance. Regarding our new Spa: You did not mention any concern about the spa water until 9pm the night before departure, after having used it for two days. At your departure, we personally inspected the spa and were disappointed by the condition in the over use. For every stay, we take timestamped photos of the spa at arrival to confirm its cleanliness. Had you raised the issue earlier, we could have addressed it right away if you had concerns. We had to fully drain and cleanout the spa after your group’s use. We take great pride in maintaining our property, which is why it was disheartening to see the overall condition the home was left in after your stay. Our listing clearly states the property has 7 bedrooms in the main cabin and 2 in the guest house, and that the guest house carries a $500 maintenance fee—though we graciously waived since you told us you didn't know about it. We could not offer a late check-out due to our calendar being fully booked, which was communicated in advance. We believe our home is a wonderful property for large gatherings and encourage future guests to read our many other positive reviews that reflect the quality and care we provide. We apologize we did not meet your expectations.
