A great cabin with lake views & access! Now Featuring AC/ Wi-Fi- & TV

Cabin 8 is great and features a double bed, sink, toilet, and a clean shower house with three private showers with great water pressure steps from your door.

We have a 24 hour Coffee Bar, Laundry, Ice and Vending Machine on site, next to our showers for you to enjoy FREE of charge.

Enjoy our several charcoal/gas grills, outdoor tables, fire pits and tables, on-site arcade, yard games including corn hole, and connect four while taking in the wonderful lake views.

Lake Access:
You can see the lake access from your cabin just a short walk past the arcade, towards the steps and you will see our Lake Access sign, This access has a sandy bottom. If you are wanting a more traditional sandy beach we are within walking distance to the Alton Town Beach

Vacanza NH has complementary bicycles and kayaks for our guests to use on a first come first serve basis. We are within walking distance to most of Alton Bay attractions including the town beach (sandy beach) restaurants, ice cream, and the marina.

This cabin is perfect for vacations, & enjoying the all the lakes region has to offer, rent multiple cabins for the perfect group getaway.


We do allow pets, but please review our pet policy to ensure our cabins are the right fit.

Pet Policy: We must be notified in advance that you will be bringing a pet(s), and weight of your pet(s).

-Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.

-All guests will be charged a one-time flat fee of $40.00 per pet per day or a flat $200 fee for weekly stays.

-Guest agrees to clean up animal waste of the pet(s) and agrees to accept full responsibility and liability for any damage, injury, or actions arising from or caused by pet(s).

-All pets must be in crates if left unattended, and cannot cause any disturbance, to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced .

-Pet(s) cannot be left alone for more than 3 hours. They cannot be tied up outside unattended, and must be on a leash when outside.


We are located in Alton Bay, and within walking distance to restaurants, the marina, and all that the lake has to offer.

Overall was an okay place. Property was a bit unkept, lightning comingup the stairs at night not working sighs sayings make sure you clean up after your dogs but no place to throw it out except at the coffee bar. Not something anybody wants to smell.

A Well Hidden Gem

This is a wonderful spot! Our cabin was well appointed w small refrigerator and freezer. The grounds are awesome. They have thought of everything — fire pits, coffee bar, outdoor games! We were sad that we were only there for one night. The bed wasn’t very comfortable (spring mattress) but that’s a personal thing so it may be fine for someone else.

Great place! We really enjoyed our stay. We were a little confused on how to get to the water because the sign is slightly obscure but maybe that’s on me. The swimming location was smaller than expected and kayaks were for 100 lbs or less. There was also some confusion regarding how to find the dumpster on the lot at check out time. Other than that, everything met our needs. Clean room, a few bugs but thats expected, the showers are nicer than I expected. The welcome binder with local resources / things to do was a nice touch. Perfect for a stay if you’re having a fire or want to play games outside. We didn’t do those things but did enjoy the local music, ice cream and great view. Felt safe and quiet.
