Property was very well kept and was well stocked. Host was very helpful and responded to questions quickly. Kitchen was clean and had every utensil we could need and more. Location was excellent.

The view from the living area was beautiful. The location was convenient to all the things we wanted to do. The kitchen was nice and well-stocked and the bathroom updated from the photo online. Communication with the host was easy and quick. Jay had great recommendations for local activities. A comfortable place for our family. The kayaks and canoe were an added bonus.

Wonderful mountain getaway

This was a dream come true getaway trip with family. Property was just right for dinners together and relaxing on the deck or dockside. Convenient location. Beautiful views. Enjoyed the deer visiting each morning!

Great location, spacious home, beautiful!

My family had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean, the house had everything we could need, we were close to everywhere we wanted to go, and the lake was beautiful and perfect for our fisherman son. We played games on the cold nights, had family dinners and the big table, a fire at night and hiked mountains close by. Thank you for a great stay. We hope to come back!

We had a wonderful time! We liked the arrangement of rooms. We grandparents took the lower level bedroom while our son and his family took the upstairs rooms. Perfect!We most especially loved the dock. Son, husband and 4 year old grandson are avid fishermen. We would come back in a second. Oh and I left out the glorious view from the decks! We watched fall arrive!

Perfect House for our Family vacation

A perfect house for us! Nice & spacious with a great view. Everything was clean and ready for us. The location was ideal for our trip as we wanted something on the water. The fishing was so good it was almost ridiculous. Within minutes of casting, we were catching fish! The yard was great for sitting outside by the water and having s'mores around the fire pit. Jay was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. This may very well be our new spot for our annual family vacation.

Great Lake House in Saranac Lake

This was the perfect location. The house is right on the lake with a private dock and it is walking distance from downtown Saranac Lake. The view from the living room and the deck is beautiful. Jay was a perfect host. Very responsive. He helped us rent a boat and got us a discount. The house was very clean. He has it stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, silverware and cookware. There were plenty of extra linens and towels. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Jay!!

Great Lake House

I wish every rental property was this good! Jay was helpful, responsive, and accommodating before we even got there. He cheerfully offered to bring in a portable A/C unit because my husband has COPD, and offered to help in any way possible. The house was ready early the day of arrival. The house was spotless and might be the most well stocked rental I've ever stayed at. The beds and linens were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and paper supplies. Access to the lake is easy. We didn’t use the supplied kayaks or canoe because we brought our own, but they appeared to be in good condition. While the kitchen has been beautifully updated, the bathrooms are a bit dated, but very clean and completely functional.The house is close to the village of Saranac Lake with galleries, shopping, and restaurants. It's a short ride to Lake Placid, and other attractions and summer activities like hiking, kayaking, canoeing. We would definitely return!

The property is centrally located and within walking distance to the wine store, Aldis, Dollar General and the famous ice cream stand "Mountain Mist." It is directly on the water with a flat backyard for ease of access for the elderly. We were able to rent a boat and had it delivered for the week and there are a several kayaks to use at the house too. No ceiling fans, but multiple very functional rotating fans if you are staying in the summer. The kitchen set up is great, and there are four separate private bedrooms - 3 upstairs and 1 downstairs. There are also 2 bathrooms - one upstairs and one downstairs. There is only 1 tv in the central upstairs living room, so if you have a tribe who can't agree on the movie that is the only downside. We have stayed here before and the host is always great about communicating with you.
