We planned this trip to get out of the city and uplug for a couple or days. We got exactly what we wanted. The location was perfect and not too far from town. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back.

We loved our stay!
It was awesome thank u so much ! Sorry for the mess lol
This place worked out great for me and my partner!
This place had everything we needed, a little fridge, cooktop and a coffee maker with coffee pods. It was isolated and not to far from town. Keep in mind there are neighbors but they are a good distance away from you.
We really enjoyed the location as it was out away from Fredericksburg for a rustic feel but close enough to go into town a couple of times during the day. The decor was beautiful and the place felt very comfortable. They thought of everything like hangers, an iron/board, a light blanket and creamer for the coffee. We would definitely recommend this place to others. Hope to return some day!

Very pleasant place and facilities. Spa tub made the visit worth every penny, and really enjoyed the gas fireplace right by the tub. Coffee maker stopped working, new one brought promptly but didn't work either, otherwise, very nice stay
We had a wonderful time at Pollen! We drove in from AZ for a three night stay. Beautiful property . Very clean and comfortable. Liza is a great host and responds very fast. Not in town , but also not too far away from town. Would 10/10 come back
The hot tub was great! Coffee so so. My husband gets up @ 6am. Me @ 8 a keurig is much more user friendly when only 2 c of coffee are needed. Nice & quiet but still close enough to town. Disappointed there was a burn ban so no fire pit. We understand burn bans as we are E. Texans. But since it has been in effect since Oct. 14 I feel it should have been stated in your description. We were looking forward to sitting outside. Oh well…….
Our stay in the Pollen at the Hive was good. We enjoyed our time there. Things that we feel that could be improved on:1) Water pressure, we took a shower and the pressure went down and made finishing the shower difficult. 2) The bed, the frame was very noisy and ANY movement produced noise.3) Tv, we felt that a 10 harbor freight full motion mount could be used to allow for viewing from the bedroom as well.
Definitely recommend, very cute and no problems at all!
My wife and I stayed for a couple nights - a short weekend trip for her birthday - and this was a really perfect spot. 7 minutes to the middle of main street, but it feels more remote.
The layout is so nice we often mentioned how it didn't feel small for how "small" it is. And it is very well kept up with good appliances and an almost hotel-like feel to the cleanliness and quality. I'm not sure if it got fixed but an earlier review mentioned water pressure and ours was just fine. Having the hot tub and private area to sit by the fire just expanded the space that felt like ours. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Skunked out
We were in love with the Friday house until the skunk attack. We, our baggage, our clothes, and our car all smell of skunk. The storage container was a bit of a letdown, but we found it charming and enjoyed the hot tub. I hope to have better luck when we return to use the voucher Lucinda promised us. My wife loved all the bee-themed decorations.
This place was pretty cool. We only have a few complaints. The shower had zero pressure at all. Like the water was just kinda falling out. For all my ladies with long hair, it definitely couldn’t rinse my hair at all. Our only other complaint was our hot tub took like 24 hours to heat up which kinda sucked because we wernt there that long and could only use it for a day of our trip. But other than that It is super cute.
Fantastic location. You start to relax the second you get there. The place was spotless and so cozy. Highly recommend!

Lovely, Cozy Stay at the Hive
We were fortunate and stayed in Pollen at the Hive during the 2024 Eclipse! The unit was clean and calming. We had slow mornings sipping coffee, easy access to Fredericksburg adventures, and a perfect hot tub. Highly recommend the Hive to anyone who would like a small space to themselves in Central Texas.
