Pet friendly and very close to Main Street. No kitchen or ability to cook but on vacation who wants to anyway? Morning coffee provided. Mini fridge and microwave. Great place to stay. We will be back.

This property is so quaint. It was nice to have the coffee bar and small fridge, that’s really all we need. We loved that it had a dog crate available to use, we brought one but know that we don’t have to next time. Great front yard and back area for the dog. We loved staying here. It’s extremely close to Main Street.

Such a great place to stay in Fredricksburg. The host was so very kind and the property was precious. Finn was amazing, she even allowed us to bring our fur babies. They loved both yards. It’s not a far walk to Main Street which was so nice. Everything was spotless and there was a small kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. Bed was super comfy. Linens were great, Bathroom was huge. We will definitely be back.

Our host was so accommodating and was available for any need. The cottage is adorable and the artwork is fabulous…. Definitely would stay again when we visit.

I loved staying at this precious abode. Just as described online. Very quiet in an older neighborhood where I enjoyed my walks. Shops and restaurants are close to downtown. I can’t wait to return next year. Finn was a great hostess.

The property was even better than described. It was exceptionally dog-friendly, with a fully enclosed yard where our dog could safely enjoy being outside.The location was perfect—peacefully tucked away from Main Street, yet only minutes from everything we wanted to see and do.We loved the thoughtful, sustainable touches throughout the house, especially the handmade plates, dishes, and coffee cups. I was a little concerned about staying in such a historic home during the hottest part of the summer, but we were completely comfortable at every hour of the day and night.My wife especially enjoyed the books about the history of Fredericksburg. Our only regret was having to leave earlier than we would have liked on our final day because of a family commitment. I had hoped to ask the owner whether I could purchase one of the beautiful handmade coffee cups—we liked them that much!We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The property was an exceptional value, and we only wish we could give it more than five stars.

Great weekend stay

This property was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay in Fredericksburg. Unique and fun furnishings and decor. Nice outdoor seating in a peaceful setting. Very convenient location, as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Finn Alban, is the current owner of this historic farm house bought by her parents in 1966 as a place to retire. She is a 5th generation Texan and an award winning potter who creates pottery and sculpture in her studio behind the house. Finn's portion of the house is separated from the B&B by a stone wall and has 2 separate entrances.

'While growing up in San Antonio, I had often visited the Hill Country as a child. Even then, I knew that some day, some way, I would live there. When my son was 4 years old, that opportunity came and we moved here to this very special small town with its wonderful community.'
