Clean and well equipped, perfect property. We were fishing and it is located close to an excellent ramp for putting the boat in. There is also a tavern with wonderful food for dinner only a two minute walk away.

Fishing cabin

Great spot to stay for bass fishing tournaments out of the Clinton St boat ramps. Another big plus is that there is a tackle shop literally right across the street.

Fantastic place! Great for outdoorsmen looking for a good deal for a weekend! Hosts were super friendly and even let us check out later to fillet our fish and shower before heading home. Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our stay

Scott was a great host, answering questions and giving suggestions before we arrived and at our arrival. We were across the street from the Mississippi with access to a variety of rentals for being on the water. We were within walking distance of several bars and grills with good food and outdoor eating. Everything in La Cross was a close drive away.

Mississippi Cabin

For the 2 of us, we have done a fishing trip together every spring or fall for the last 35+ years, this cabin was perfect. It was clean, spacious and an excellent location for river/backwater access. The owner is next door and while he is very respectful of your privacy, he’s also responsive to any questions or needs right away!

The house is great. Perfectly suited for our needs. It’s just a couple of minutes to the boat launch. It’s has everything you need for your stay. This is my second year renting here. I’m sure we will be back in 2025

LaCrosse Cabin

Great location, close enough to downtown but far enough away to not feel like your in a city. It was about an $8 Uber ride to Downtown. Several nice local bars within walking distance with good food and drink prices. Scott was great to deal with and very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again, we had 4 people there and were very comfortable.

Not on the water

Just stating the facts—the property is not on the water! The ONLY “access” is across a busy 3-lane street, behind a business, through the parking lot and down a hill—then there’s the water. That’s all I want to clarify.
