We, group of 10 nurses, stayed at this property 10 years ago. It has been well kept is quiet and is convenient to the beach and town. Kitchen is well equiped and we loved the new frenh press coffee maker. Great for a large group!!

Our stay was terrific! The weather was amazing! The trail down to the beach was challenging but all of us between 60 and 70 made it down and back.The only thing we found fault with was the game room and loft. The turpentine smell was unbearable?

Wonderful Photo of family! Appreciate seeing the 5 star review. The south trail is an easy 5 minute drive and walk to the ocean. The north trail is challenging with stairs thru the trees and to the ocean The housekeeper didn't detect and smells in the garage or loft before your arrival nor after. Not sure what it was? As always, during your stay, do let us know anything you need or observe we can address to you have a great time.

The house had a neat layout but the front room with the windows was magical especially at sunset.The beach access is a short walk downhill either was and it was part of our daily routine.The no step entry was wonderful for my brother-in- law who is now in a wheelchair.

Excellent property. We were a party of 7 women on a girl’s weekend. Everyone loved it. We all felt relaxed and comfortable. The property was super quiet and private. We didn’t want for anything. The property owners were very nice and responsive throughout our process and our time at the property. We all would love to come back in the future.

House was very clean. We loved how big and open it was. Very well stocked kitchen. They had lots of games, a nice high chair, stroller, and wagon for little ones. The beach walk was a bit farther than we thought but still manageable.

Our rental was last minute after we were unable to have our family vacation at the Lake. This house is in a great location with easy beach access. Had all the necessities. We loved the open living room-kitchen and ability to see the ocean while in those rooms. Would go back there for our Ocean vacations. The hosts were so easy to communicate with. Thank you Louise and Dennis for sharing your house.

Our book club stays here every year, and it’s always such a treat. The oceanfront setting is beautiful, and the home is well maintained, comfortable for all and well stocked with everything you’d need for a family gathering or, in our case, a fun book club retreat.

My knitting group of 7 women stayed for 2 nights. 2 people unfortunately had to cancel so there were 5 of us staying. We had a lovely time. The home is gorgeous and the location is stunning!! The bedrooms are beautiful, comfortable, and very homey. This home was built in 1955 and it appears that every surface has been renovated and it still retains its classy style. The house is extremely well supplied with extra paper towels, tp, kleenix, etc. A suggestion would be to label the drawers and cupboards in the kitchen. It would also be helpful to label some of the light switches. Speaking of the kitchen, WOW! There are two dishwashers, 2 fancy ovens, and beautiful fridge. The dining area has a super nice big table and there is a smaller breakfast table in the kitchen, PLUS, there is what I’d call a game table in the living room. I could go on and on. We can’t wait to book another retreat!!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view!We had such a comfortable stay. We visit the coast a couple times every year, and in the most recent past we’ve been so disappointed in our rentals, but this house surpassed them all. The home is very clean, well stocked and organized well. The house is thoughtfully laid out, bedrooms are nice sized and private. The kitchen is nicely stocked with pots, pans, appliances, and dishes. The home has plenty of seating, especially in the back living room that offers the view. We enjoyed the deck, watching the waves, boats, birds and squirrels. The view is amazing! We will be back!

Our family of nine visited this lovely home for a long weekend. Everyone had their own space with two larger gathering rooms in between plus a well stocked kitchen. The beach was a lovely 6 minutes walk away. We did have a few questions during our stay which the hosts answered promptly. We all enjoyed an absolutely wonderful vacation!

Each summer we take a vacation with our adult children and grandson. The collective judgment was that this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our entire group. The view out the front windows overlooking the ocean was a true “ooh ah” moment. We took the trail to the beach several times as well as driving 1/3 mile on the paved road down to the beach. The area has a number of very nice restaurants that we enjoyed throughout the week. I would highly recommend Georgie’s. Their salmon covered in a Marion berry barbeque sauce was delicious. Very easy access to outdoor hiking at Cape Perpetua.

I am a frequent renter of VRBO properties, and I would rate this lovely home as the best I have every booked. My group included 3 couples plus one individual: all friends and neighbors. Everyone had a marvelous time. We all loved the large deck with table and plenty of chairs, plus the large , clean windows giving us beautiful views of the ocean. Here are some comments from our group: Our hosts were extremely generous and thoughtful (Kleenex boxes in almost every room, cleaning supplies and paper towels, two coffee makers, a Keurig machine, AND an electric kettle, plus plenty of cookware, glasses and dishes). We also enjoyed the games, which were well-kept and easy to find in the garage. One small suggestion would be to keep the temperature a little higher in the house. The women in our group found it very cold, especially overnight and in the first half of the day. Luckily, we brought plenty of sweaters and sweatshirt. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will likely come again.

Thank you for the very gracious review and you had a great time. Mentioned being cold. The thermostat is very easy to control by any guest for heat or AC year round what you desire. Wish I would have known and let you know how to turn the heat up or down as needed. First time this mentioned. I'll make that more clear in the welcome guide.
