Impresionante costa de Oregon Beach House

Una rara la casa junto a la playa en la costa de Oregon y la hermosa playa de Nye y es 15 millas de playas de arena vírgenes! Nuestra casa es de 100 pies de las escaleras (90 escalones) que conducen a la playa. Para aquellos que no les gusta escaleras hay un camino por la playa por el Hallmark Resort Hotel. Es perfecto para reuniones familiares, bodas, aniversarios, conferencias y cualquier otro grupo grande que necesita estar en un solo lugar. Nuestra casa es más de 3500 pies cuadrados y 12 plazas en camas y módulos extraíbles, con invitados adicionales posible. Además, tenemos un montón de baños (4 1/2) para manejar un grupo grande, por lo que todos podemos salir y jugar lo más pronto posible.

Hay tantas cosas que hacer y ver en la zona. Estamos a cinco minutos de la Carta de clase mundial de pesca del barco y la observación de ballenas, pesca de cangrejos, y el muelle con muelles y rampas, para los que tienen sus propios barcos. Quince minutos de la salida de compras y casinos, y conciertos para los tipos de interior. A cinco minutos de las actividades familiares en Historic Bayfront de Newport con tiendas / museos como Ripley lo cree o no, Oregon Coast Aquarium, Submarino Acuario de Newport y de Mo Clam Chowder y el anexo.

Lo más importante, usted tiene un refugio y hogar al que volver, después de todas esas actividades para relajarse, jugar, hacer rompecabezas, cocinar y estar juntos.

This home exceeded our expectations of a beach rental! The kitchen is very well equiped, plenty of dishes and flatware provided. The bedroom sizes are HUGE! Great common areas to gather our group! We will forsure be staying here in the future!

Great location and great for a large group of people!

Had a really great New Year's eve stay! Enough room for all of our friends! Quick walk to the beach and into town- great location! Originally tough to get in-touch with the owner but once contact was made, super friendly and quick responses. It is a weathered house needs a bit of maintenance and cleaning but comfortable enough for a weekend stay.

Close to Everything

When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned very well from the last occupants. We also had one of the toilets clog when we flushed it after going #1. Unfortunately, it backed up sewage in the bathtub of the same bathroom. I know this sounds terrible and I could make a big negative review, but Mary, our contact manager did an amazing job of getting a plumber over there and one of their house cleaners to assist us and take care of the problems. This house has so many bathrooms that the one was not an issue for us. Also, the cause of the clog was feminine products from the previous occupants. So really, who's fault is it? Please DO NOT dispose of feminine products in the toilet! Mary did compensate us for our trouble with refunds towards our rental cost. Beds were comfortable, we brought our own pillows, but I did not get any complaints about the sleeping arrangements. There is a nice view of the ocean and we even saw some whales. Once we figured out the alarm system we had no further issues at the house. The house is located on the south end of Newport but it is still close to anything you would need. Our trip was purely to relax and enjoy ourselves. We traveled to Lincoln City, Waldport and crabbed and scuba dived.The neighbor hood is a mix of residents and businesses. It sits right next to a hotel. At first we were somewhat concerned about the noise we might get, but it was quiet and enjoyable for us. We'd recommend this home to rent.

Great location, very close to the beach

Thank you to Mary for being helpful when I asked questions and for texting when the place was ready to check in. There were ample rooms especially upstairs with all the rooms with its own bathrooms. 5th room downstairs didn't have a bed though and 2 of the 3 air mattresses have holes in it. But we like that there were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for us. Great location to the beach!!

Good Location

Location was good. Had some serious plumbing problems that caused for a stressful weekend, but we managed our way through. Lots of room for everyone. In serious need to a deep cleaning. If you aren’t fussy, give it a go.

Our family stayed in this house which fit all 10 of us gracefully. Walking distance to the beach and close to whole town. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Place

The location is perfect, short walk to a great beach that was never crowded and close to town as well. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close by, beds were good, the kitchen was adequately stocked and plenty of bathrooms for everybody.

A nice place for family and friends but don't expect the Ritz

If you are looking for a Sunset Magazine spread this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a place to gather with a big family or a bunch of friends, a short hike (down the stairs) to beautiful Nye Beach, and a nice stroll to town this will fit the bill. The deal clincher is the upstairs bedrooms (3 large each with full bathrooms) and a very comfortable living room with quite an ocean view. We caught a beautiful sunny weekend with a smooth sea full if whales spouting and breaching like nine if us long time Oregonians had ever seen. A big kitchen downstairs with all the needs covered and room for a family meal get together. It's not fancy and may not be for everyone, but it worked great for us and we'll likely return. We did have one plumbing issue that needed immediate attention on a Saturday. The owner responded quickly and called for the necessary professional help to save the day. And gave us a generous refund for our troubles.

Beautiful upstairs and viewing area

The house is spacious and the upstairs has 3 large bedrooms and a beautiful observation room looking out on the ocean. The downstairs bedrooms are a little small, but were clean. The kitchen was partially stocked with cooking utensils. One of the tubs upstairs was slow to drain, but that can be an easy fix for the property owners. The alarm system worked well and check-in and check-out were smooth and simple. Overall a great experience.

Great place - would stay again!

The house was large and very comfortable. We stayed here during memorial day weekend for a family wedding - if you are attending a wedding at the Hallmark Resort Hotel (next door) this is the perfect house! It's just steps away from the festivities. We had family come over for a BBQ the day before and even with a rainy afternoon the house held us all perfectly. The BBQ is charcoal not gas, my husband prefers this but be prepared. The kitchen was well stocked and while the fridge was completely emptied (no ketchup, mustard, butter) the cupboards provided an array of spices and seasonings for cooking and we were thankful not to have to purchase those items. The bedroom layouts are nice - downstairs are two bedrooms, the first with an en suite bathroom and the second with a bathroom available in the hallway. There is also a 3/4 separate bath near the kitchen. We stayed upstairs, the master bedroom with bath is enormous and the other two bedrooms are very nice and also come with their own bathrooms. The living room area upstairs has a beautiful view and is a great gathering place. We had no issue with the alarm system and the entry/exit was very easy. We would absolutely stay here again, Mary was a responsive helpful host and we appreciated her assistance. Hope this review is helpful.

Poorly maintained, Needs Serious Updating

Pro's - The upstairs sitting room was very comfortable and had a great view, (really the only room in the house with a view, small peeks from a couple of bedrooms.) There were lots of bathrooms. It was a short walk down some stairs to the beach. Con's The place didn't feel clean. There was a layer of grime on every surface in the kitchen including the floor. We pulled dishes out of the cupboard that were dirty. The sponge on the kitchen sink was old, torn and ratty and smelled rotten. There were barely enough glasses and coffee cups to serve 10 people. The kitchen towels were old and stiff. There were only 5 chairs at the kitchen table. There were 2 folding tables and extra folding chairs but there really wasn't space to seat 10 people for dinner and we were there for Thanksgiving. There was mold in the bathtubs. Your view from the kitchen and dining room is of a large hotel parking lot. There was a lot of noise from people, cars and delivery trucks constantly coming and going. There were 4 queen beds and 2 twin beds, really only enough sleeping space for 8 adults and 2 kids. We did find a few air mattresses but we had to dig around to find sheets, blankets and pillows. There were many large closets with nothing in them (not even hangers). We finally found extra sheets in the dresser drawers in a couple bedrooms so there was no place to unpack your clothes. Definitely a shortage of blankets and the ones we found were old and torn. The yard was a mess and not maintained at all. There were two outside light poles that were broken and laying on the ground. The gate to the back yard was so slimy and moldy I didn't want to touch it. The alarm system was confusing. I wonder how long it has been since the owner was there. Overall it felt uncared for and poorly maintained, the amenities old, we were pretty disappointed, I doubt any of us would return.

perfect for visiting with friends

The layout and amenities of this house make it ideal for a crowd to gather all together or scatter into separate small groups. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and most evenings watched can't miss ocean sunsets from the upstairs living room and deck. The owner could not have been more accommodating or easier to work with.
