Esta es una costumbre de origen más reciente con granito y piedra natural en todo, como ningún otro. El dueño de casa es una baldosa albañil. Una casa muy cálido, cómodo, con chimenea en salón y dormitorio principal. La casa fue diseñada para la mayoría de las habitaciones tienen un océano y / o ver el faro. Inicio está al otro lado de la calle de casas frente al mar y tiene un fácil acceso a la playa.

Todas las camas tienen sábanas de hilo, un montón de almohadas cómodas, y algunas camas son de gama alta colchones pillow-top. Mucho mejor que los hoteles más finos !! We had a wonderful time at the beach with our group of 8 people. Everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space. We all enjoyed playing several rounds of pool and visiting with each other.

Great Holiday stay

Beautiful ocean cliff house

First we saw whales from our front window The rooms were great and the host went above and beyond to take care of a problem for us. I highly recommend staying here if you want to spend time in Newport or Depoe. It’s easy to get to and has easy access to the beach with tidepools during low tide and beautiful views all the time.

Host was very responsive. The main areas of the house were clean but it was the smaller areas, ie kitchen drawers/cabinets, baseboards, lamps needed cleaning. Also a lamp was broken and others were missing light bulbs. We could not find any wash cloths and one couple questioned the if the sheets were clean on their bed. The owner was was quick to respond to our questions/concerns. Our group did really enjoy our stay overall.

It was a lovely property for a nice Christmas stay. The cleanliness was top notch. The only downside was the basement was very cold, but everything else was great and would love to stay here again.

Loved the Beach House

4 siblings (all retired) and our spouses stayed there. It was clean and well keeped. We all loved it and wanted to stay another week.

A place to help heal our hearts

my son in law and daughter choosed this part of the orgeon coast to lay her ashes in their finale resting place.the orgeon coast and the near by beaches was her faviort place to be.

Fishing trip stay

Plenty room for 7 adults, oversized hot water heater was great for 3 shower rooms. Close enough to beach-with a little walk. Neighborhood was friendly and it has ok views from the house. Plenty of furnishing for what we needed, if you bring kids there are toys and games for them too.

Family memories

This house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the layout, beds were comfy, and the small pool table was a hit. The walk to the beach is short and it seems not many people are aware of this beach access. A great time was had by all.

Multi-family coastal stay

The place was the perfect size for our family vacation with six adults and three teens. Having the kitchen, living room and pool table all in one open floor plan was excellent. Water pressure was great. We cooked every meal in the kitchen, and had everything we needed. Jerry was a very responsive host when travel caused delays.

Great Agate Beach House

I recently stayed at this property with some friends and it exceeded my expectations. The house was clean, in a great location, and offered everything we needed for a few days of relaxation at the coast. You could see and hear the ocean from the house, it was a quick walk down to the beach, and an easy drive into Newport. The WiFi worked well, we enjoyed the pool table, and the kitchen was well stocked. We all loved the house and would definitely stay there again!

5 bedroom Beachhouse nicely arranged

We were a group of 10 friends and found the house comfortable but the kitchen had many tired and worn pots/pans and dishes. Only 7 coffee cups for 10 people, 4 coffee filters and 4 wine glasses. Also we could not access the wifi with the password given us the entire stay and the contact person was not local or very helpful and basically blamed us for doing something to the wifi as it worked fine last week. Short walk to the beach was convenient.

I’m sorry the pots and pans and dishes were not to your satisfaction. What’s nicely used to most may be “tired and worn” to some. As verified with the provider during your stay, Wi-Fi was completely functional and working flawlessly before, during, and after your stay. Even after all of your calls and messages I’m not sure why you couldn’t get your device connected. I’m sorry you had such a hard time with it and let that overshadow your stay. Thank you for the heads up on the coffee and wine glasses, we weren’t made aware of some previous accidental breaks. We’ve got new ones now. There were 200 more filters in the cabinet just above the coffee maker, next to the mugs. I hope you were still able to have an enjoyable trip, though based on your calls and texts complaining (starting 7 minutes after check-in) it doesn’t sound like you did. Over years of sharing our home, we realize that no matter how hard a person works to please all of the people, all the time, there will always be a few that only find reasons to complain. In the future the holiday inn express may be more of what you were looking for.

Not the view that was stated. Not enough towels, not enough paper towels, definitely not enough TP for 10 adults for 5 nights. Kitchen had one very small fry pan and the cord for the electric fry pan didnt fit. The house is very nice, just needs some consideration for the necessities.

Great for friends!

The property was beautiful and cozy. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen of any house I’ve ever stayed in. The pictures don’t do it justice. The neighbors were all nice and friendly any time we saw them. We had some parking issues, as we brought a boat with us. The neighbor told us we could park the boat on the street since the driveway was full. I won’t repeat exactly what he said regarding the city, but he was a super nice guy. The only cons I can think of: a week of staying there with 8 people makes a lot of trash and the trash cans are not very big. And the walk to the beach is great on the way to the beach. But the walk up hill back could pose a problem for some people. It was a good little workout. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very nice house.

Our grandchildren loved the stairs the most of all. I enjoyed the view of the ocean out the main windows. I was disappointed that I couldn't see the lighthouse except through one upper story window and only if I stood on a bed (I was too short to see it otherwise). I was glad the property manager could direct me to the light switches for the living room. I hadn't found them until he told me where to look. None of us could ever figure out how to change the volume of the TV in the living room, but perhaps it was just a wrong remote control. However, there was plenty of room and space for all 10 of us, and we had a great time with one another, putting puzzles together, playing pool, visiting and walking down the path to the beach and back. My 4 grandchildren didn't want to leave the beach house! My adult children and their spouses found it great! I am so glad we found it.

The house and area are amazing.Very clean and modern. The view is amazing. The only issue with this property was the neighbor. There is a rule of only 4 cars at the rental at a time. We renteed the house because we had a nephew pass a year ago and we were spreading his ashes. After speading his ashes we had People coming over for dinner. We talked with the neighbor and he told us we could park 1 car in front of his house and 2 in front of the vacant lot on the other side of his house as he owned this lot as well. We did this and after the dinner had been going for about 30 minutes we get a message from the property manager the he was getting complaints from the neighbor we had to many cars there. If you rent this place follow the parking rule no matter what the neighbor says. The house is very comfortable.

Great House

House is in a great location and easy to find. Neighborhood is quiet and you can hear the ocean from the house. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The view of the lighthouse can only be seen from the furthest north windows, but most windows have an ocean view of some sort. The walk to the beach is a bit steep, but within reasonable distance for even toddlers. Tile work was great and the decor was beachy without overdoing it. A few issues we had were no room had a working dvd player. The one that was there could not be hooked up to the tv due to outdated cords, and even then it struggled to work. It appeared the cleaning staff did not finish or something because cleaning equipment was left out and chairs and stools were piled on top of the counters and table. They even left their glass of water on the counter. The blinds need replacing badly. Most would get stuck in a position and were hard to move back. Also, the gas stove was in need of repair so cooking was a challenge and the ice/water dispenser was also broken. It also gets quite bright in the main room so sitting on the couch and/or watching tv is difficult. Blinds or film on the higher windows would be nice. None of these issues were major for us, but I would have expected less problems for a house of this caliber and price. We liked the house and would give it a higher rating if they could correct the maintenance issues.

Thanks so much for the feedback. We need this to improve. Housekeeping has been addressed, new blinds on order, We don't have a DVD as we just got Satelite tv with three movie channels and access to Netflix all in high definition and new sound system for high quality movie viewing, which you should have received an email prior to checking in informing you of this. Appliance repair has been notified. Thanks again.

He is a competitive bodybuilder and also an artist, specializing in duochrome and epoxy acrylic. Jerry did all the tile and stone work in the home and took a lot of pride in the construction of this beautiful home. He originally built the home as a spec home but missed the hot real estate market, so subsequently made it a vacation rental.
