House for KC activities with great location

Me and my friends met in KC for a long weekend for a Royals game and other activities. The house treated us well. The beds were comfortable and all seating areas had comfortable furniture. The house is located in a great, safe neighborhood with also good location to get to things. Would stay again.

Friends getaway after the Christmas season

Beautiful property and House, nice neighborhood and close to many shops and activities but still a little way from the city to stay out of the loudness. Great place to have a little getaway and hanging out with family or friends Me and my friend work over 12hrs everyday with only one day off so as a break from all that madness we choose this lovely place. It feels like the nice and chic stay as if at a hotel but privacy at our own home. The owners are lovely and communicate very well. I would totally stay again!

Christmas 2024

We thoroughly enjoyed our VRBO stay. The house was so comfortable and the space was perfect for our 5 adult children and their respective families.The area was quiet and beautiful and we enjoyed daily walks through the neighborhood!The location of the property put us close to restaurants and attractions.The owners of the property were easy to communicate with and they answered any questions I had in a timely fashion.I would definitely book this property again!!!

Mini Reunion

Property was in a nice area. The front stairs were high and cumbersome to navigate and there is no hand rail. The interior staircases are steep. The kitchen was very disorganized. We all felt that the kitchen especially needed a deep cleaning. The space itself gave us ample room to visit.

Great place for a group

Everything about this place was terrific for a group! Location, layout, space. We didn't cook as it was a shorter trip but the kitchen seemed to be well equipped. We enjoyed morning coffee on the patio. Only updated needed would be the listing. There is only 1 bunk bed in the lower bedroom

Great Location

Very quaint home with lots of character! Accommodated 11 of us with no problem. Check in was super easy. The property included some extra items such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Qtips and even some disposable ear plugs! I had inquired about a pack-n-play when we arrived and while they didn’t have one; Stanton went above and beyond and ordered one that was delivered within a couple hours! The only thing I didn’t realize was just how many stairs there were in the house and having a 19 month old was interesting, but she adjusted quite well after the first couple hours. The ping pong table and basketball hoops were a big hit with the kids! Would definitely stay here again.

Soccer weekend

Arrived at the house easy to get into everything was as pictured unfortunately a storm went through Overland Park that evening and lost electricity so that was interesting, but that had nothing to do with the stay at the house and I would stay there again

Graduation Weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The space was perfect for our family from out of town. The adult children loved the ping pong table and basketball game. We will definitely stay again.

Great location but could use a deep cleaning

We loved our stay! Plenty of space and the game room was awesome. The only negatives we found were no cleansers available to use during our stay. We cooked at home, and it was tricky to clean up with just water. Also, the beds and surfaces were very clean and nice, but the walls and carpets were dingy with a lot of visible dirt and hair. Not a deal breaker though! We would definitely stay here again!

Concert weekend fun

The property was well maintained with a beautiful patio for coffee and snacks in the morning. Easy to access location, quick access to the interstate and many amenities. Would definitely look to book this property again for future weekends.

Two family getaway

The home was very clean and nicely decorated. Two elementary age boys loved the game and bunk room. It’s an older home that is well cared for and is in a great area.

Great KC Weekend

Pleasant stay for husband and I to spend a weekend with our adults kids and their spouses. Plenty of space, great decor, convenient location, and quiet, safe neighborhood. We especially loved the ping pong table and wish the basketball score board in the game area had been working. Loved the little Christmas touches throughout the house!

Cozy family home with game room

We had a great stay. The game room, board games and small toys were a plus for the kids under 5 in our group. Hosts are great communicators if we needed anything. There are several living spaces to spread out and do remote work, play and navigate a larger group for all the needs. Centrally located making it easy to get anywhere in the city. This home is kept super clean which is always a plus as well. Thank you for a great relaxing stay.

Great Location

For our trip to KC, and a two-night trip to Kauffman Stadium (KCvsSTL), this house was perfect for our kids and many of our grandkids and of course this old couple celebrating nearly 50 years of marriage! I would definitely book it again for the similar trip since we have family living there, that is a very strong likelihood! Plenty of room and appeared as advertised. The game room was a hit with all the kids, some young and some old like me. Plenty of parking for the 10 of us and more when we had a cookout. Thanks for the memories and looking forward to the next time.

Comfy & Clean

This was a very comfortable home! Everything we needed for a great stay was provided. The house is in a great neighborhood, was decorated beautifully and was perfect for our stay. Plenty of space for all of us and the basement was a great bedroom space & hangout for our teens. We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard amongst the trees with a view of the creek.

Cozy Overland Park Getaway

Great location and lovely home to retreat to after days spent visiting friends and family. Owners were fabulous and we felt very safe and at home in this VRBO. Even my kids commented on how comfy the beds were!

We have been married for 17 years. We have 5 children and love our big family. Stanton is in IT full-time, while Summer is a retired nurse. She now has her real estate license and loves interior design and fitness. We want to create a space that feels at home but with a unique experience at each of our short-term rentals.

This property is in a unique and comfortable location that is in the heart of Overland Park but feels incredibly secluded. There is a beautiful yard and back deck that provides a serene location allowing you to forget there is anyone else around. When you want to go out and about there are a ton of great options for fantastic restaurants within minutes and plenty of activities close as well. The house has TVs in every bedroom and all the necessary kitchen equipment you would need to stay and cook at home. We strive to make our house feel like home and want you to have a fantastic experience with us every time you stay.
