Mi Casa truly is your Casa! Situated in Residence La Coccinella, Unit 102-A, is located at one of the VERY BEST LOCATIONs in Playa del Carmen!

La Coccinella's one-of-a-kind setting is situated a short 3 minute walk from fine sandy beaches. Less than a 1/4 mile to the popular beach clubs: Mamita's and KOOL. Excellent restaurants, cafes, bistros and high-end-to-traditional shops line 5th Ave. Which is just around the corner from our complexes' secured gateways. One on Calle 28th and the other on Calle 30th. 12 privately owned condos are housed in our boutique complex. Two 3-story buildings face each other, with a lush garden-POOL courtyard in the center. It's an easy walk, to everything!

Use the privacy and convenience of my lovingly furnished retreat as a cool home-base for excursions and outings. Relax and enjoy refreshments, check your email (secured Wifi) on your own secluded patio. Since the condo is situated around the corner from restaurants, shops, bistros, cafes, beach clubs, and more! Everything you need is within walking distance.

My One-bedroom unit offers an extra comfy California King bed and is furnished with all the comforts of home. Second bed is a sturdy sleeper in the Living Room. A Mexican-matrimonial Queen-sized quality fold-out mattress.

The Living Room is air conditioned and so is the bedroom. Both have ceiling fans as well. Relax with secured WiFi service everywhere in my condo. Catch a flick on the flat screen television. There's a collection of movies on DVD, or bring your own and play them on the all-region DVD player.

The Kitchen has every item you might desire for: blending drinks, cooking up an omelette, preparing toast, making a tropical fruit salad or prepping your steaks for the patio barbecue.

A private patio is great for enjoying the beauty and sanctuary of our tropical garden-pool courtyard. Umbrella for shade around a 4-padded chairs, glass-topped round table. Great secured Wifi signal strength. Use the large standing b-bq for lunch or dinner at home. (See listing's photos)

This lovely home-away-from-home, sleeps three adults very comfortably. And is positioned on the garden-pool level of the 12-unit complex. Designed with a blend of European and Mexican styling, our 'original-Playa' complex is a well maintained Playa del Carmen 'classic'. Enjoy the views of our lush garden-pool, looking out of my living room's floor-to-ceiling screens and glass doors. Make yourself at home!

Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool, some relaxing sun on a Guest's lounge chair. Or go to, Mamita’s Beach Club or other great near-by beach club choices. Want to enjoy the turquoise waters of ‘El Caribe’/the Caribbean? If you choose a beach club, (approx.$6.usd) they will provide you with a chaise, a shady palapa/umbrella and friendly food and beverage service. Ask my Guest's Relations team for a discount coupon!

We loved it.

Our stay was wonderful. This was our first VRBO stay and we hope to come back next year. Antoinette and her representatives are very responsive and welcoming. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

The apartment is just as it appears in the photos. It is clean, well maintained and very well equipped. We felt very safe and secure. All the little extras to make you feel at home are there. It is very well located. The beach is only two short blocks away. We had no problem carrying the beach chairs and umbrella for a do it yourself beach day. We also enjoyed several of the beach bars which were further south on the beach but still within easy walking distance. We were able to walk to the big grocery store. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby but we we never bothered by noise.

There is a lovely little patio with outside that has some privacy due to the immaculately maintained gardens. The pool was clean and great to cool off in.

Clean apartment, friendly service and convenient location.

Antoinette, Aude and Lorena were a pleasure to deal with from booking to check out.

My husband and I enjoyed the apartment for our short stay in Playa (5 nights). We appreciated the small kitchen appliances, Bluetooth stereo, beach chairs, stand up fan and towel drying rack that were provided. We would have liked more shower towels and face clothes. We also ran out of toilet paper which would have been rectified had were communicated this in time. The apartment did not include body soap, shampoo nor conditioner. No big deal, all these things can be bought here or brought if you know in advance.

The other tenants were quiet. The pool was cleaned daily although we never saw anyone swim. Almost a private pool especially for us on the main floor.

The location was steps from La Quinta and half way between 10th and the beach. Very convenient for shopping, restaurants and nightlife (10 pm -3 am).

The noise and nightlife music was moderately loud from the apartment. With windows closed and air conditioning on, the noise was drained out.

My family enjoyed staying this sweet cozy apartment close to everything.

We spent most of our time outdoors: at the beach (a short walk from the apt), or walk around and shop in town (just outside the gate of this apartment) when we were not doing excursions.

I loved the old style building with the beautiful courtyard, inground pool. The tucket away corner seating area by the courtyard, with beautiful flowering plants was another favorite spot for meals and just to hang out. This was a nice place to stay. Even though the location is right in the heart of Playa De Carmen, That corner for some reason was quiet, especially at night when we locked up and had the air conditioning on. The owner was very responsive, everything worked as planned. I will stay there again.

Hidden Serenity in the heart of Playa

Antoinette and her staff were all terrific !!

Amazing location in the heart of Playa The serenity of the court yard and pool area was so peaceful. Even with all the hussle and bussel of 5th Avenue at your door step. One city block away from the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean.

We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend Antoinette's hidden hideaway to future guests.

Great location! Steps away from beach!

The apartment was so close to the beach! Only 2 blocks away! And only a half block of the main strip - lots of restaurants, shopping, and taxis. We were very comfortable - nice place. Used the pool and the kitchen most days! The grocery store was a 10 min walk - but there were also some small markets and pharmacy on the main strip. We walked to dinner every night - and great places to eat.

Antoinette was very helpful in providing information for our trip and her team in Playa Del Carmen met us when we arrived, showed us around and was available to answer questions. The team also helped us booked some fun excursions! Antoinette and her team also helped us with a few last minute adjustments to make our family trip great!!

I hope we can come back again!

Why Antoinette Levine chose Gonzalo Guerrero

I bought this property, first of all, because it is Perfectly Located. I was looking for a second home, where scuba diving is abundant. A property with a future value and worth that would continue to increase.

La Coccinella, this complex' name, was so unique, compared to other properties in 2003. There was nothing else like it. And it has retained its beauty and original features as Playa del Carmen grew up around us. La Coccinella stands out as an architectural gem in the midst of a more modernized town.

Its' captivating appeal, attracted tourist into our courtyard so often that we ( the condo owners) invested in artisan crafted metal-work gates. That secure our two private gateway entrances, Calle 28 and Calle 30.

I fell in love with our lush garden/pool courtyard that continues to flourish. As well as the signature yellow coloring of the two three-story/6-unit buildings, which house our 1 and 2 bedroom condos. And I can't wait (but will because it'll be very soon!) for my next visit to stay in my own little unique piece of paradise! ;-D

What makes this condo unique

Location indeed... Our garden courtyard continues to be a flyway stop for a variety of migrating birds. Unique in their coloring:, red and yellow and blue plumage, these rare birds occasionally take temporary refugee in our garden's trees. When lucky enough to have a sighting I again give thanks for being a steward of this sanctuary-like property.

The view out of my living room's floor-to-ceiling double doors, particularly at night, continues to delight me. Our pool lights glow and illuminate the crystal clear pool water. Tinted light blue by the pool walls reflection. Gorgeous. I've often sat outside on my beautifully tiled front steps just to take it all in. Sometimes glancing up at the star lit sky. Or a Full Moon . . .

This home is a magical gift that continues to give me great joy after 12 years of ownership. I feel lucky and very blessed to have been guided to this very special place.

Waking in the morning to birds chirping, calls me to rise and head to the quietness of the sandy beach. Walking is a favorite exercise for me, so heading to the beach or the empty avenues and streets of Playa are always a favorite way to begin each day. Often to return home and jump in the pool for a few laps and water yoga. Then a scrumptious breakfast at my patio umbrella shaded setting.

If it's an excursion day, I feel fortunate to have an off-street parking spot. With a rental car waiting just outside the Calle 28th gate. My usual direction is south, toward cenotes, Akumal, Tulum beaches---and though it's been a while, as far as Majahual. Looking forward to going there again soon!! Or west, to catch the ferry over to Isla Holbox, out of the tiny town of Chiquilá. Playa del Carmen is truly the perfect home-base. ;-D

I've grown accustomed to enjoying my home-away-from-home. With all of its'
