Overview

About the property

Townhome, 3 Bedrooms,, 2 Baths, (Sleeps up to 7adults)

This beautiful 3Br//2Ba condo sleeps up to 7, and is located on the mountain at Quail Run. The Qual Run units are clustered around a private cul-de-sac, making this lodging option much more like a private residence than a vacation rental.

Our townhome is very open and bright with nice views of the mountain from the upper balcony. This unit is very spacious and approximately 1600 sq. ft. It very nicely appointed with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, stainless appliances and a fireplace trimmed out in lodgepole pine. The upstairs living/entertainment space is completely separate from the bedrooms. It is fully equipped with a complete kitchen, dining area, three flat screen televisions, DVD player, washer and dryer, all necessary linens...and a hair dryers. The master bedroom, with its connecting master bath, has a king-size bed. The 2nd bedroom contains a queen, and the third bedroom contains a bunk bed with a double and twin on top. The unit also has a one-car heated garage, and plenty of storage space for skis. Located adjacent to the free shuttle, it is a short bus ride to the base of the mountain and The Silver Bullet Gondola.

This unit is not a time-share and has been lovingly cared for and maintained. Quail Run is very quiet, as greater than 85% of the units are owner occupied year round. This unit is only one of three located in the building.

Steamboat Springs is known for fantastic skiing, hot mineral springs, and a lively Western atmosphere. Shopping, dining, and nightlife are year-round attractions. Winter offers snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and a mountain with more than 100 downhill trails and 20 lifts. Summer offers white-water rafting, championship golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Keith Foster, and more than a million acres of wilderness in Routt National Forest for hiking, horseback riding, biking, and fishing. Sailing, windsurfing, and waterskiing are available at nearby Stagecoach Reservoir.

Great property and location

  • 5 of 5

This townhome is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is a short drive from downtown. There is also a free bus to get to and from downtown that stops very close by. The townhome is well maintained and the layout is convenient since the bedrooms are on a separate floor from the living area. Eric is very conscientious and definitely cares about his guests' experience.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

The townhome is very adequate and is in a great location. It worked well for our family with good wifi and cable (not that we spent much time indoors watching TV). The kitchen is well stocked with the essentials. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

Great condo with easy access to all that Steamboat has to offer!

  • 4 of 5

This was a great location with a good layout. The kitchen had everything needed to make you feel right at home. The bedrooms being on separate floors was really great when there are separate families staying in the same place. It was very comfortable and very convenient location. It was quiet and really a great place that we will stay at again!

perfect place and awesome owners!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect size and setup for our family, and offered very easy access to skiing and the town. Eric was fantastic, calling us to make sure we got in ok, and even working with us when we were locked out at 10 pm on New Year's Eve! We could not have asked for better owners in that situation. Highly recommended!!!!

We needed a last minute booking due to a change in our group. The owner was great to work with and responded quickly to our request. The townhouse was very nice and ready when we arrived a little early. It had everything we needed while we stayed including wifi and HD TV. It was walking distance to the bus route and the hot tub felt great after a day on the slopes. I would recommend this unit and use it again if we have the same group size.

Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

When I travel with my family (wife, daughter - 9 and son - 7) we try hard to find great VRBO/Homeaway homes because hotel rooms get crowded...fast. We have had some hits and some misses over the past couple of years. This one was a HOME RUN. It started with the exceptional communication and genuine interest of Eric (homeowner) who made sure we were going to have a great time. The home is split level which meant the kids stayed downstairs and the wife and I were separated from them by a small set of stairs. The Upstairs was fantastic with a big open kitchen, a giant table for playing board games (and there were at least a dozen already waiting for us) and a fireplace that turned on with a switch and dried out our clothes in minutes.

The bus stop was really close by (though it doesn't run on any specific schedule) and made getting to and from the mountains being really simple and convenient.

One of the most fantastic things that we appreciated was having a garage. Our little car from Texas wasn't used to the bitter cold of a Colorado winter and having it safely tucked in while everyone else's batteries died was a huge bonus.

We really lucked out on this stay and our vacation definitely will go down as legendary due in large part to how well we slept each and every night after working hard on our skis and snowboards. Thanks Eric!
