Description

Steamboat Springs Townhome Rental Photos and Description

Townhome, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

This beautiful 3Br//2Ba condo sleeps up to 7, and is located on the mountain at Quail Run. The Qual Run units are clustered around a private cul-de-sac, making this lodging option much more like a private residence than a vacation rental.

Our condo is very open with nice views of the mountain from the upper balcony. This unit is very spacious and approximately 1600 sq. ft. It very nicely appointed with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, stainless appliances and a fireplace trimmed out in lodgepole pine. The upstairs living/entertainment space is completely separate from the bedrooms. It is fully equipped with a complete kitchen, dining area, three flat screen televisions, DVD player, stereo, washer and dryer, all necessary linens...and a hair dryer. The master bedroom, with its connecting master bath, has a king-size bed, the 2nd bedroom contains a queen, and the third bedroom contains a bunk bed with trundle that sleeps four. The unit also has a one-car heated garage, and plenty of storage space for skis. Located adjacent to the free shuttle, it is a short bus ride to the base of the mountain and The Silver Bullet Gondola.

This unit is not a time-share and has been lovingly cared for and maintained. Quail Run is very quiet, as greater than 85% of the units are owner occupied year round. This unit is only one of three located in the building.

Steamboat Springs is known for fantastic skiing, hot mineral springs, and a lively Western atmosphere. Shopping, dining, and nightlife are year-round attractions. Winter offers snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and a mountain with more than 100 downhill trails and 20 lifts. Summer offers white-water rafting, championship golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Keith Foster, and more than a million acres of wilderness in Routt National Forest for hiking, horseback riding, biking, and fishing. Sailing, windsurfing, and waterskiing are available at nearby Stagecoach Reservoir.

We needed a last minute booking due to a change in our group. The owner was great to work with and responded quickly to our request. The townhouse was very nice and ready when we arrived a little early. It had everything we needed while we stayed including wifi and HD TV. It was walking distance to the bus route and the hot tub felt great after a day on the slopes. I would recommend this unit and use it again if we have the same group size.

Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

When I travel with my family (wife, daughter - 9 and son - 7) we try hard to find great VRBO/Homeaway homes because hotel rooms get crowded...fast. We have had some hits and some misses over the past couple of years. This one was a HOME RUN. It started with the exceptional communication and genuine interest of Eric (homeowner) who made sure we were going to have a great time. The home is split level which meant the kids stayed downstairs and the wife and I were separated from them by a small set of stairs. The Upstairs was fantastic with a big open kitchen, a giant table for playing board games (and there were at least a dozen already waiting for us) and a fireplace that turned on with a switch and dried out our clothes in minutes.

The bus stop was really close by (though it doesn't run on any specific schedule) and made getting to and from the mountains being really simple and convenient.

One of the most fantastic things that we appreciated was having a garage. Our little car from Texas wasn't used to the bitter cold of a Colorado winter and having it safely tucked in while everyone else's batteries died was a huge bonus.

We really lucked out on this stay and our vacation definitely will go down as legendary due in large part to how well we slept each and every night after working hard on our skis and snowboards. Thanks Eric!

Perfect Family Ski Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed (really, lived) at this property going on three years straight! My family (me, wife, and three kids) come to Steamboat from Atlanta every year, and have stayed here in 2011 and 2012...and we plan on coming back in 2013!

The home is in GREAT condition and has everything I family could need for a great ski trip. The location is great...there is a bus stop just in front of the complex (just a very short walk) that takes you right to the square (and back in the afternoon). The home is always clean, and the owner (Eric) is extremely kind and thoughtful. He is very attentive to any needs during your stay.

We use VRBO quite a bit, and this has been and will continue to be one of our favorite "homes away from home."

Beautiful condo! We had 4 adults and two kids, age 3 & 5. Ample space and immaculate- very homey. Great deck for coffee in morning, grilling at night. Board games for kids and adults. Thanks so much!

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

This condo was amazing. It is very clean and comfortable. The floor plan is amazing and provides privacy, even when there are many guests. We enjoyed our stay and the owner was very friendly and offered recommendations about the area. We will definitely rent this condo again.

Great stay at Steamboat

  • 5 of 5

If you're looking for a comfortable, well equipped condo, with an owner who's interested in making your experience a good one, this is it. There's nothing you'd want that this condo doesn't have: plenty of room for spreading out, nice furniture, a great big dining table, a kitchen with everything in it. There's even a huge flat screen TV, a good wi-fi connection (which I can't live without), and a washer-dryer. Stay here and you'll have a good time. Highly recommend.
