Top floor two level 2 bedroom, Mountain View!

Newly remodeled top floor 2 bedroom with two levels, vaulted ceilings, and amazing views of the resort! Updated and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, new cabinets and stainless appliances. Real wood burning fireplace! Entrance to condo is into an outside covered stairwell so no shared inside hallways or elevator. Easy access from surface parking lot right out front but yes there are two flights of stairs:) King bed in the downstairs bedroom; Queen futon and Full/Twin bunk bed upstairs. Upstairs is completely private, not a loft and has it's own full bath and tons of space. Large closets in both bedrooms and entrance hallway. Private balcony off of the main floor with a bistro set to enjoy the view. Wifi and new Samsung smart TV's in living room and both bedrooms. Side by side washer dryer on the main floor with separate laundry room. The Pines is centrally located between the resort and downtown Steamboat, walking to grocery stores, liquor stores and several restaurants. The main free bus route stops right out front of the complex every 10 min for easy access to the resort or downtown.

The host thought of everything! There were Kleenex in the bathroom, a hair dryer, plenty of pillows, sheets, towels and washcloths. Shampoo and body wash in the bathroom, a plethora of cooking/baking utensils, wine bottle opener, a fan for the bedroom, HUMIDIFIERS to combat the dry mountain air, extra blankets. Comfy and practical. The view and location is phenomenal. A bus stop to take you to the mountain RIGHT outside the condo. Not to mention, a Walmart right and a Safeway with in walking distance. It has a beautiful Mountain View and great access to the city. Would 1000% book this condo again, if we come back to town. The hot tubs are shared by the complex so we never visited, just strolled by but there are two different tubs.My favorite part of the condo was the kitchen. Cute, clean and practical. Beds and pillows are comfortable. The bottom bunk is a trundle as well. Enjoyed sitting by the fireplace looking out at the gorgeous mountains! 10/10 would suggest this place to anyone looking to stay in Steamboat!

Another great stay

This is our second visit during ski season at this great condo: clean and comfortable for four. We like the location due to ease of bus access, parking and walking to groceries, coffee, etc. It has all the basics but remember to bring your own coffee. Two flights up stairs after a long ski day is tough but worth it for the morning mountain view.

Perfect location

Location was perfect. The bus stop is at the parking lot entrance to condo complex. Very clean and well kept. Pots and pans in the kitchen were not all beat up like a lot of rental places. I would for sure stay here again. Perfect for a family of 4. Thanks Rob.

Great Stay

Our family of four (college age kids) stayed for a wonderful week of skiing. Condo has everything you need and large enough for us to have our own space. Kids even said they felt it was big enough in their room to bring a friend or two. It was so easy to get to the mountain and into town. Would definitely come back.

Excellent Accomodations

We loved our stay, and appreciated the simple touches like, supplying Kleenex, which isn't a given in most VRBO's! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the framed map of the Ski hill, and it really helped us get acquainted with the mountain. Overall, a great place and definitely a place we would return to.

Great Time In Steamboat

We had a great week in Steamboat. This unit is well-maintained and centrally located. Love the nearby shuttle stop and proximity to ski area. No complaints! Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was exactly as described. Very clean and well put together to give a great overall experience. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in outside my personal bed.

Great family stay

This condo is amazing. Plenty of space. We had a family of four. 2 adults, a teenager and 9 year old. The upstairs had plenty of space for our children, they had their own bathroom and you could close the door to the stairs and you could not hear them. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need. We made all our meals in the kitchen instead of eating out. The bus picked us up right in the parking lot. It was very easy to get around Steamboat. The hot tub was nice after a long day of skiing. The washer and dryer was a bonus to dry our wet ski clothes. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. There is ample storage for a family of 4 that does not pack lightly. The unit is on the 3rd floor and you had to walk up the stairs. It was not an issue for our family, but if you do not have a strong teenager to carry all your stuff up then this would not be ideal for you. We would definitely like to come back for another ski trip and would stay in this unit again.

Family ski trip

Came to Steamboat to visit family and ski - we loved staying at Rob's place. It was clean, quiet and close to everything! Definitely will be back.

Great place to stay

Third floor with partial mountain view is nice and quiet. Great location for free shuttle to ski or into town. Groceries and ski rental two blocks away. Fireplace (didn’t use) and clean outdoor hot tub. Unit is average size but above average clean and fully updated. Thanks for a great stay!

The unit description is very accurate. Very convenient location for shuttle access to Steamboat base area and town.Grocery, liquor stores, some restaurants within easy walking distance .Older building with renovated unit. Large ski/equipment locker right outside unit door, so equipment not dragged into unit. The upper/second bedroom area is most suitable for children/preteens/teens due to bunk bed and futon, but our group was reasonably comfortable with 2-4 adult "twenty somethings" in that room,especially since it is closed off( not a loft) with its own bathroom. The entry area is narrow/small for multiple persons removing ski boots, but a minor downside to unit. The living area is relatively small for more than 4 persons,but hopefully guests are not sitting around inside much!! The 3rd floor location without an elevator was not an issue since there are no long hallways and close parking to entry. Quiet unit with no one above, and great view of mountain. Outside,covered double jacuzzi area is close to unit with a changing sauna room, so you do not have to wear wet bathing suit on walk back to unit. 4.5 Stars!!

Great spot for access to both town and the resort

Location was prime, you were walking to either town or resort but the bus stop right at the entrance along with Safeway/city market being walking distance was great. Host was quick to respond, would return again. Thank you!

Amazing stay at Steamboat

The proximity to the mountain and general stores for groceries was unmatched. The free shuttle was able to bus us to the mountain for skiing, downtown for dinner and drinks and right back to the condo. Only issue was times between shuttles but the condo itself was perfect for me and my 5 friends.

Great space in a great location

Four day ski trip with my son. This place was perfect. Clean and well appointed Son stayed upstairs with full separate bath. Location is great. Walking distance to both grocery stores and restaurants. About 1 mile from ski base Fully stocked kitchen Great view of the mountain from family room. Would stay here again Host was great - very responsive

Great location near the bus for a winter visit!

Perfect location with a great kids loft and bunk beds / full bath. I would recommend it as a good place to stay for skiing with a small family. Easy parking too. The only odd thing is the dryer vents into the unit instead of outside, so if you have a lot of laundry to do keep that in mind. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Ski Trip to Steamboat

It was our first winter (ski) trip to Steamboat. The condo was great. The location was perfect. We didn't have a car, so we used the free bus and it was literally a 2 minute walk to the bus stop from the condo. I reached out several times with questions for the property owner (Rob) and he provided great answers and was always quick to get back to me. The condo itself, had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well equipped (we cooked many meals), bath and bedding were excellent. Overall, a really pleasant experience. Thanks again Rob !!

Hi Steamboat visitors! I'm longtime CO resident, mostly in the Denver metro area but my snow addiction keeps my up here as much as I can in the winter. I love to ski most anywhere there is snow but Steamboat has always been special to me and was an easy choice once I was able to buy. I bought the condo in 2020 (perfect timing:) and replaced pretty much everything so all of the furniture, mattresses, kitchen supplies, smart tvs etc are very new and in great condition. I wish I could live here full time but since I can't it's great to be able to share it with all of you!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Location! Location! Location! No it's not on the mountain but I think the Pines is really a better place to be and you get a lot more condo for your money. In particular in the offseason I think it's the best location in town. It's uniquely located in a more commercial district and is an easy walk to both grocery stores, several restaurants (including the Ore House right next door), all 3 Starbucks in town, Ski Haus for equipment rentals and many other stores and services in Central Park Plaza. The main line Free Steamboat Bus stops right out front and runs every 10 min in both directions to the mountain or downtown Steamboat. It's only a few stops to the mountain and about a 5 min ride. For the summer it's about a half mile from Fletcher Park which is a great spot to get in for tubing the Yampa.
