This is a fully remodeled, stylish place perfect for solo travelers, couples and group trips. It has a beautifully manicured garden in the front, a private, fenced, furnished backyard and 2000 Sq Ft of vintage luxury for you to enjoy. The working, original fireplace offers an added quality for the winter months. It has air conditioning in each one of the 3 bedrooms. The kitchen is not only spacious, but also fully equipped with all top-of-the-line appliances and everything required for even the most exigent cook. It has 2 comfortable work stations.

Quiet, clean, charming and thoroughly well equipped, was a great base for visiting friends and family in Oakland. Would stay here again. Only critique would be to suggest an upgrade of the mattresses for additional comfort to really take it over the top

Dear Marcos: thanks so much for you thoughtful review; we are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. We put our hears and souls into making and maintaining our beloved home in Oakland. As to the mattresses, we purchased all 3 of them at Cotsco in November 2023; as you know, Cotsco curates the best brands in all products they carry. They are medium firm; that's the norm in the hospitality industry to secure the widest possible range of individual tastes. I myself love that level of firmness. I'll look into changing one of them to the softer level to give my guest that choice as well. We hope to have you back soon.

Great location for exploring Oakland

This place has everything we needed to rest after being out in Oakland and the Oakland hills. We were able to find groceries nearby and the kitchen was fully equipped. The freezer was large enough to keep our salmon frozen for our continuing trip to Montana.

Comfortable and clean

We were in town to attend a college graduation. This property worked out great for us because it is very convenient to the Oakland airport. The back patio was perfect for hosting a family dinner celebration, and everyone appreciated the interesting decor and comfortable spacious bedrooms.

Green oasis!

Francisco's spot is so lovely! I held a small work retreat with close friends/coworkers and we needed a beautiful, quiet spot to stay and do some deep thinking. It was perfect!The decor is fun and interesting, the house is spacious and cozy. It has many different areas in which to spend time, and it's located so close to one of my favorite coffee shops - Hasta Muerte!Communication with Francisco was prompt and easygoing. Would definitely recommend this sweet oasis.

This was my first time using Verbo and it turned out great! The home was as pictured. The decor was unique and stylish!The beds were comfortable and the property layout was really homely. They also had a nice handbook to reference with notes and suggestions on local favorites to check out. As a night owl, it was nice to sit in the backyard under the string lights and just take on the ambience. The combination of plants and tiled decor on the fences was beautiful. Although my stay was short, it was a pleasant get away from the east coast. I would definitely stay here again!

Noch viel, viel schönerals erwartet!

Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll: Das Haus ist schlicht und ergreifend der Hammer! Die liebevolle, hochwertige Einrichtung hat uns gleich das Gefühlgegeben, zu Hausezu sein. Die direkte Nachbarschaft ist sehr sicher und die Nachbarn sehr, sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns nie auch nur einen Moment unwohl gefühlt. Der Garten (Hinterhof) ist schöner als auf den Bildern. Wir haben dort unseren Tag mit einer Tasse Kaffee begonnen und die Abende mit einem Bier unter dem Glitzern der Lichterkette ausklingen lassen. Die BART ist nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und die Fahrt nach SF ein Katzensprung. Danke, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften. Wir kommen gerne einmal wieder.
