We really enjoyed our stay. Very helpful communication, easy check-in/out, and the place was very clean with thoughtful/practical touches. Plenty of towels, easy to use the kitchen, good water pressure and wifi, and very quiet and comfortable at night.

We enjoyed this home a lot! Fully equipped with everything we needed. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. There was any service or amenity within walking distance. The only issue is we had was a very low profile car. The drive way was at a bit of an incline so we parked on the street. Next time we will rent something a little high off the ground. Over we would rent again.

Great location with shopping nearby. Actually, the city is pretty easy to get around. Kitchen was amply stocked, plenty of linens and comfy beds. I would add that if you have difficutly with mobility the front of the house has a steep drive that might be difficult to manage. Loved our host-helpful and considerate.

Comfortable old craftsman house. small quaint bathroom.Nice size rooms and living areas with a huge tv. Water from the tap is an issue but we just used the big fresh water filter in the kitchen. Nice quiet neighborhood with street parking for a mid size suv.

Great location

The Vrbo is in a great location. It’s about 4 blocks from the North Berkeley BART station and is an easy walk to a coffee bar and bagel place on one side and a bakery on another side. The bed is comfortable, the water filter quite amazing, plenty of towels, a usable outdoor space and easy in and out.

Very comfy rental

The rental is clean and well furnished. The sofa in the LR is very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Excellent place in convenient location of Berkeley

Needed a place for a week and the house was the right fit. Owner was helpful and responsive. Would stay again.

Great space, great host, great location

Comfortable, great location, good communication with host. If guests are looking for a place to have breakfast or lunch, we highly recommend Leila’s Cafe, just a five minute walk.

The house was immaculate and spacious, set in a lovely quiet neighborhood! We were able to walk 2 blocks to the main road to find many great restaurants.Plenty of towels and hot water. Thoughtful to include a drinking water filter system. Note that the bathroom is quite small.Would have liked a brand new clean sponge rather than an old used one in the sink. The back door did not really lock, as well as windows when open, which made us uncomfortable. The driveway does not really exist next to the house (tiles are lined up to drive on but should not use due to gas line in middle) so must use on street parking, which was very easy to find.

beds were comfortable, everything was clean and as pictured/presented, although the carpeting in hallway and bedrooms could use a cleaning. for the price, it was a good value. love the neighborhood! owner/host was very responsive during our stay.

Fit the bill!

My mother, sister and I visited my brother and sister-in-law in Berkeley. I was pleased to find this listing close to their place. The home offered separate comfortable living quarters Andreas was great to work with and was amiable to a few Reasonable accommodations. We are excited to return soon to visit again! Cozy and homey, with space for us to eat and play games together.

I don't know what to say about this property. There were issues, but the location is excellent with great restaurants nearby and BART 4 blocks away. Neighborhood is fairly safe. The house was clean, and is an old-fashioned 2 bed, 1 bath, small. The issues: It was like living in someone's DIY home renovation project. The bathroom and kitchen had some slight repairs (new floors, faucets), but the yard, front entrance, carpets, electrical outlets and especially windows needed some work. During a storm the bedroom window blew in and scared us (we were sound asleep). Strangely enough, it didn't shatter and we were able to put it back on it's runners. All of the windows were in poor condition. Annoyingly, the washing machine had a lock on it. Although in his welcome email the landlord said he would come by and unlock it, he never did. (Ghosted my text.)Again, not sure how to rate this. It's a good price, excellent location, but is in desperate need of repairs.Two additional notes. Musty smell when we entered, probably not suitable for those with asthma. No real steps to the entrance, so not suitable for anyone with an unsteady gait.

Weekend Family Visit

Was the perfect stay for parents weekend at Cal. Easy to get to from BART, bus or Lyft to dorms, and quick walk to Acme bread or Foster’s ice Cream! Andrea’s was so responsive and house was clean and comfy! Perfect!

Charming vintage house in Berkeley

A step back in time to a stay in an older home in Berkeley. It is just a few blocks from where we lived in the 1970's when we were students at CAL and we felt very at home. Beds are very comfortable, the small kitchen very workable and well equipped (we use it for breakfasts and dinners). Would definitely stay here again.
