'Sunset Center' is an adjacent pair of family vacation houses. The 'Sun House' is a 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom vacation home featuring a private gated 15x30 heated swimming pool, 6 person hot tub, playscape, and wooded ravine lot with fire pit. The property is an easy 4 block walk down the sidewalk to South Beach, Kid's Corner, and downtown shopping and dining.

All comforts of home are provided, including washer and dryer, linens, all major kitchen appliances (including refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, range, dishwasher, and microwave), kitchen utensils, free wireless Internet, 8 cable TVs (Four X1 Voice Enabled boxes with apps such as Netflix, Youtube, and access to the HDR, and 4 basic cable boxes for the remainder), many DVD/VCR players, CD players, just to name a few.

The house is perfect for families with children of all ages. The pool and hot tub are gated for your protection. Both the front and back yards are fenced.

Family-friendly items included are books for all ages, toys, puzzles, movies for all ages, well-loved bikes, riding toys, high chair, full size crib with rocking chair, baby gate, exersaucer, strollers, sippee cups, baby monitor, booster seats, kid-sized picnic table, and pool toys.

Enjoy the flexibility and convenience of having 6 private bedrooms, conveniently located throughout the house! 4 bedrooms are upstairs. One is a large master suite with private bathroom. Another full bathroom is in the upstairs hall. 2 bedrooms are downstairs, each adjacent to separate full bathrooms. The house has an open design, with the living room, dining area and kitchen all open to each other in a 'great' room. The sunroom overlooks the backyard pool and wooded ravine yard. The sunroom can be accessed from either the hallway or through the kitchen.

There is another bonus room downstairs that is referred to as the 'futon room' or the 'play' room since it can be closed off as a 7th bedroom with a futon or utilized as a another common living room with a TV/VCR/DVD with a video library and bookshelves loaded with books, games, and toys.

The pool will be open and heated from mid May until approximately October 1. The hot tub is open and heated year-round. Enjoy the rare warm water in South Haven in June and September!

This is a great place for our family to spend time together! The host was quick to answer any questions I had. He plenty of space for the 11 of us. Some went ice skating, nice short walks to the near or to the lake.

Great family vacation home

There was three families that totaled ten people. The space worked great for us. The house was clean and ready when we showed up. Communication with the host was easy. The house is in a great location. It was easy to get to the lake, parks and downtown. The pool and hot tub felt amazing. There is a little playground between the houses that the younger kids enjoyed. Would definitely come back here.

Comfortable house with loads of room. The property is an easy walk to town and the beach. The house has multiple private spaces which was nice as several of us had to work on line. Outdoor spaces were peaceful and beautifully landscaped. Only adults came on this last trip however in the past we have vacationed with a wide age range of babies and children. The house accommodates them with toys and a safe barrier from the hot tub and pool. This is an outstanding property for a family holiday.

Everyone wants to come back! The accommodations were comfortable and clean with so much available for summertime fun. The location is close to both the beach, which is pristine, and the town, which is hoppin', giving our children and their families much to enjoy with little travel. Big place, big memories

The owner was helpful and accommodating the hot tub was amazing! This place had more than enough room for our large group and the Atari machine on the wall provided hours of group fun in the cold weather. Why they chose this property

We vacationed in South Haven for the first time in August of 2004. At that time, we had a family of 4, with a newborn and 1 year old. The town was so beautiful and kid-friendly that we knew we wanted to come back over and over. Since we are originally from Illinois and now live in the middle of Michigan, the South Haven location is a perfect meeting place for our family gatherings. We fell in love so quickly with the town that we purchased a 3 bedroom house in South Haven in November of 2004. We labored all winter to completely renovate the house into a 6 bedroom vacation home specifically designed for family reunions. We finished just in time for the summer of 2005 summer renters and the rest is history, with 100+ family reunions enjoyed at our homes!

What makes this property unique

We sincerely believe our properties are unmatched in the South Haven area for a family vacation. We have packed more amenities into our homes than any other home in our price range. 2 homes, 6 bedrooms in each, 4 bathrooms, heating swimming pool, luxury hot tub, playground, 8 HDTVs, short walk to beach, short walk to downtown. We love being able to walk everywhere we need to go in town. We are centrally located, so that we can walk to the beach or walk to downtown in about the same time.
