Cozy 2/2 in a serene, park-like setting, near Minot Beach & coastal marshes

We are in the process of adding a 2nd bathroom, a gas fireplace and a deck with views of the water in early spring 2026. Stella Sorelle is a cozy, yet well-appointed 2 bedroom/2 bath cottage with a gas fireplace and outside deck. Its a wonderful home base to explore the charming fishing villages of Scituate & Cohasset and their great restaurants or to work remotely from. It is located on a private compound with resident access only. It's quiet, serene and surrounded by trees, grass, marsh and waterways. You will feel like you have escaped to a private estate and yet you are close to the action. This sweet cottage has been fully renovated and is well supplied with comfortable seating and a stocked kitchen. The beds are inviting, the bed linens delightful and the bath towels thick. Sink into an Adirondack chair by the firepit and take in the unique surroundings. You will find body wash and shampoo/conditioner in the shower the laundry area is stocked with Tide pods, dryer sheets and other laundry essentials. Roku TV and Sonos sound system in the living room area make the cottage extra pleasant.

It is a short walk to Minot Beach and the lovely Minot neighborhood. Just 5 minutes to the Commuter rail into Boston and beyond. Perfect for a weekend get-away or a month long retreat.

In order for us to provide you with the best possible experience, please supply us with some information about your group and plans in Scituate when you make your reservation request.

Stella Sorelle is one of a trio of homes we have available at the Salt Marshes, Treasure island. Stella Maris, across the yard, is a 6/3 that sleeps 12 and has wonderful sunsets and marsh views. Stella Serena, across the street is a 3/2 that sleeps 6 and has incredible views of the marsh and Briggs Harbor.

Perfect Getaway

This was the second time our family has stayed at this property and it was as wonderful this time as it was the last time. This is a great cottage located in a private setting, a short walk to Minot Beach and an easy drive to Scituate Harbor or Cohasset. Simply Perfect!

The cottage and property was so quiet and peaceful, extremely clean, very comfortable beds, conveniently located just 5 minutes from the T for an easy commute into Boston for a day trip, and perfect for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed walking to Minot Beach, watching the wildlife, and eating at some of the local eateries in Scituate. Everything was just as described online, and the communication with Mary was wonderful. We rented all three houses on the property for a family wedding at The River Club. They were all beautiful, fully stocked with anything we could possibly need and had very comfortable bedding and furniture.We didn't use any of the outside amenities due to the weather and being busy with other things. We did hang out on the porches that had gorgeous views.We all said we would like to come back for a mini vacation.

The photos do not do this beautiful, modern home justice. The spot is so peaceful, quiet, and beautiful, you really have to be in it to understand. The stylishly decorated and well-appointed home is so welcoming and clean. The kitchen is spectacular and filled with high-end flatware and cooking equipment, so we spent several meals cooking at the house during our vacation in Scituate. About a 10-minute scenic drive to Scituate Harbor via the country club/golf course-adjacent drive, we had the most beautiful and relaxing vacation. Thank goodness for Stella Sorelle!

Perfect Marshside Getaway in Scituate!

Why they chose this property

As kids, we loved exploring the marsh, playing kickball, riding our bikes to the beach and reading under trees. In the winter, we'd go sledding & ice skating. It was a kid's paradise. As adults, we appreciate the serene privacy, fun shopping, great restaurants, history and proximity to Boston. Our family has owned Treasure Island for 80 years and we are delighted to be able to share it with others.

What makes this property unique

Stella Sorelle is warm, inviting and comfortable. The location is serene & private, yet close to iconic Scituate Harbor, beautiful Cohasset and the train to Boston. The cottage is furnished for short and longer term stays and it will feel immediately like home.
