Weekend Getaway

We come up for the Rockabilly Ruckus every year. We try and all stay together (3 Generations) and close to the fairgrounds every year. This was a perfect location and great for the family. Thank you for a great time!!

Great house! We played poker all night in the barcade area, had enough room in the yard to play a lot of yard games. We utilized the bar swings when we weren't golfing. Less than 10 mins from both Squaw Creek and Avalon Lakes CC.

Family reunion

The visit was good. There was a shortage of silverware. Only six forks and no small spoons. Had to wash forks when local family visited for meals. Overall, we were happy with the stay. The neighborhood was very quiet.

Good family House

Comfortable House

We came into Warren on short notice for my husband's mother's funeral. This house was very comfortable and clean. Also, thanks to property owner for letting us bring our two yorkies as I do not like to board them. The arcade in the basement is a nice touch even if we didn't use due to nature of our trip. Would definitely recommend this property for a family.

Cozy and Clean

Plenty of space for ten people as listed. We were only five staying at the house. The bottom space area/game room has two bedrooms; great for privacy from the rest of the group. Huge backyard with plenty of sitting area. Fully stocked house, from towels, toiletries…to cooking spices. If I have the chance again, I will be staying here again. Great host, prompt to answering any questions.

Above and Beyond

This was such an awesome place to stay and the hosts were truly exceptional! Our kids were fully entertained with the arcade in the basement and we had a lot of family fun together. It was a great location and had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. We messaged the host about a tv remote and they immediately messaged back that they would like to bring a brand new tv if that was ok with us. They were so accommodating and the home was an 11 out of 10. I highly recommend this home for any stay.

Great location and very clean.

The property is in a great location. The property is located in a nice quite neighborhood. Also it is only 10 minutes from the Eastwood Mall, various chain restaurants, fast food restaurants and many department type stores. The hosts were very accommodating. The Vrbo website stated check-out time was 11:00am but the host stated the actual check-out time is 10:00am. In "good faith", the hosts honored the actual check-out time listed on the Vrbo website.

Wedding trip

We booked this house due to the length of stay and the age of kids that would stay or visit. It was the first time some of the cousins would be together. The listing was accurate and detailed. The neighborhood was well maintained and beautiful. Quite and safe. We had heat advisory days so mostly stayed inside. AC works wonderful. The kitchen was nice to cook in. Beds were conformable. Bathrooms small but worked and the shower was nicely done. Would stay again if we plan another trip up. It made our stay stress free and able to focus on our family we dont see often and the wedding we were there for. Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us and our family!

Problems

The first night I went to take a shower, as soon as I turn the water on and tried to adjust the shower head, it fell off. I tried screwing it back on but it didn’t stay up. After examining it, I noticed that it was made of plastic and the threads were stripped. There was no fixing this thing. I tried to contact the host and have not heard back from them yet. So I when to ROSS and purchased a new shower head and replaced it. Shower head cost $19.99 plus tax. I spent about an hour to fix it. Labor is $25.00. So I have a charge back of about $50.00. As a Good Samaritan. I fix the problem and I need my money back ASAP. Word of good advice; it would be a good idea to install handicap bars in your showers. Secondly when my wife and I were getting out the bed the first morning, there was a stink bug in the bed with us. We were not able to get the TV in the living room to work at all the whole time we were there. We are really appalled!!! But besides that, it was a good stay. The house was beautiful. Nice neighborhood. We loved the game room. I need somebody to contact me about my money. Please Ma’am and Sir. Thank You Very Much!!!

Joe we are sorry to hear that you had an issue with the shower head. We did not receive any messages on vrbo from you during your stay or we would have gladly sent maintenance out to fix the issue. We also went back to check our voicemail and text history and can not find anything from you there either. Could you please let us know how you reached out to us so we can make sure to correct the problem. We have a full time maintenance crew just for such issues. As far as the stink bug I do apologize but they are always finding their way into homes in this area.

My wife Christine and I are from NE Ohio and have lived in the Warren Area together for over 10 years. We love to travel and always enjoyed staying at VRBOs. When we had the chance to offer that same experience to others we decided we had to do it. This is now our second property in the area and we hope to provide guests with a home away from home to make memories while in town to last a lifetime.

We had lived in this house for four years before deciding to move to start our family. We rented this house for seven years before deciding to rent it as an Airbnb and VRBO. This was the house where we lived when we were first engaged and married. This is a very special house to us!
During our time in this home, we loved entertaining. We made a lot of updates to the home over the years to make it a place that felt welcoming to our friends and family, and now we are happy to share that with others as well!
