Newly Renovated Long Beach Cottage - Ocean and Marsh views; 1 min walk to beach!

We are excited to share our newly renovated "Long Beach Cottage", a third-row home on the exclusive West End of Oak Island. It's only a 1 min walk to the public handicap beach access and sits directly on the marsh. The large rocking chair front porch has ocean views and the new screened back porch has a peaceful and private marsh view.

The living room has plenty of seating for all of your guests. There is a 55" smart TV and plenty of games, books, and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen is fully stocked including a state-of-the-art water filter, 12 cup coffee maker, air fryer, crockpot and blender. The dining area has a large dinging table with comfortable seating for 8.

The LBC sleeps 8 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms are furnished with a King, a Queen and 2 rooms that each have 2 Twin XL mattresses that can be converted to a King for an additional fee. All mattresses are NEW in 2023! Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, noise machine and USB ports for charging all of your devices.

The house has a fully enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower and a washer/dryer. Bed linens and bath towels are provided.

The LBC has been thoughtfully designed and well-appointed to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone!

This was by far, the best rental/vacation we have had! The owners are so kind and great with communication. The property is so clean, everything you could want or need inside the home. This felt like we had a home away from home and we are so grateful to have found such a wonderful space to spend time together as a family. Very family friendly, easy and short walk to the beach. Great, quiet location. I honestly could go on and on. We had a wonderful experience, thank you Long Beach Cottage!

It was a very nice house and pretty much as advertised although “ocean view”is a big stretch. However the marsh view from the back was fantastic. Overall the place was very comfortable and fit our needs very well. Communication was excellent throughout. Our only issue was we were charged 65 dollars after check out as we were told there was a suntan oil stain on two of the comforters and one needed to be dry cleaned and one replaced. Since no one in our party (we are all over 60) even had or uses sun tan oil, it still remains a mystery to me?

Summer Beach Trip

The house was perfect for our annual beach trip to Oak Island. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the knives were even sharp. The house layout is perfect with two sets of bedrooms and a bathroom on each side of the house. The large dining table allowed for everyone to sit and eat dinner together comfortably. The back porch was screened in and offered great marsh views. The location was fantastic, grocery store was a short drive away, and the beach access was only a couple minutes walk from the house. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. Hopefully this house will be available for my next trip to the island.

Nice place

The property was very nice! Just a couple mins walk to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and the home was very clean. The beds were super comfortable. We did have an unexpected issue with the hot water tank but the homeowners were quick to take care of the problem. Very responsive to any communication we had. Our family of 7 really enjoyed our beach vacation at Long Beach cottage!

Perfect for family, close to beach access

This home was absolutely perfect for our family. We were so impressed by the cleanliness and the adorable decor. It’s clear the owner has put a lot of effort into making the home a lovely rental. Nice home, great location

PROS: Clean and pleasant home two minutes from the beach. Because it's south-facing, the ocean is very warm. Not overly-commercialized like OBX, yet several decent restaurants. CONS: No pool, but we didn't drive all that way for a pool. The king bed is saggy. Give your kids the master. :)

Retirement Celebration for Teachers!

Our group of second grade teachers stayed at this property to celebrate a retirement of one of our co-workers! We LOVED our stay! The house was the perfect walking distance to the beach. The porches were fantastic places to relax and wind down at the end of the day. All the beds were comfortable, and the layout would be perfect for most groups! We had some issues with our app and the VRBO support staff were quick to get us in contact with the host. The host provided her cell phone number since the app was down. She was helpful and easy to reach! We are already planning to return to this property! Don't miss it, it's a great one!

Pure Blessing

Our family of five had a wonderful, restful week together before our girls leave for college. The house is perfectly decorated and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the large kitchen table where we could all eat together and play games. The kitchen is stocked well and the laundry is a great touch. Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The house is perfectly located. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach and wonderful marsh views off the back deck. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The house is very well maintained and stocked. We had everything we needed and more. The rocking chairs on the front porch were our favorite. Perfect for morning coffee.
