We do want to clarify the sleeping arrangements you mentioned, as this is an important point for future guests. On VRBO, the platform only allows us to select Murphy beds as the closest available option for these sleeping spaces. In reality, these are high quality Milliard brand luxury folding cots, not traditional wall mounted Murphy beds. They are intentionally selected for comfort, durability, and ease of use, and many guests find them comparable to standard beds for short stays. We do our best to explain this within the listing details, though we understand the platform limitation can cause some confusion. We appreciate you sharing your experience so others can plan accordingly and are glad the setup worked well for your group. Hello Janiece, We are sorry to hear that your stay was not as desired. Based on your review, we are finding these items are majority out of our control or pre-scheduled services. The one item you mentioned about ants has been resolved, and just so you know, our monthly pest service was on property just days before your arrival, but unfortunately these pesky sugar ants still find there way in occasionally. The cracked glass door is also something we let you know about before your arrival, and has since been repaired! The glass was fully stable and safe, as we mentioned it is double paned, but of course we understand it did not look the greatest with a crack. It can be frustrating for us as well when previous guests cause damage like this. As for the trash, you did arrive the day after Thanksgiving, one of the biggest holidays of the year that does create an excess of trash for most families in this country. We apologize if that negatively effected you. As for lawn and pool services, we have these weekly to keep the highest standards around the property so that you and all guests can enjoy all the amenities to there fullest!!

Hi Rick, We appreciate your feedback, but we do want to stress you should have reached out during your stay if there were issues, as we never heard from you. We have triple checked, and received no communication about these issues. Had we, we could have helped make things more enjoyable for you, but again, we never heard from you. Do note we leave sets of towels based on the quantity of people in your party. Seeing as you had 10, we left sets for all 10 guests as standard practice. Kitchen towels are in the drawer to the right of the stove. Also, we do preventative monthly pest services here and at all our properties and have never received a complaint. South Florida is a tropical environment though, so occasionally you will still see critters. Unfortunately when a guest accidentally or otherwise spills on a rug we do then need to have it steam cleaned to keep the standard of cleanliness where it needs to be for our next guests. We understand that may be annoying to some, but it is what's fair. It does seem this review is in response to us charging for the damages you caused, and not actual issues at the home.
