We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is about 15 minutes to Purgatory (with traffic) and about 20 minutes to Durango. There was plenty of room for two families with 10 people total and a dog. We got pounded with snow while were there which presented some issues, but we enjoyed our stay. Here are few things to know about the property:
1. While the drive was plowed most days, it is still advisable to have a 4WD or AWD vehicle if there is snow in the forecast. Both of our vehicles had 4WD and we did not have issues, but I can't imagine what would have happened otherwise.
2. The hot tub is hot and functional, but it is also on a lower deck. That makes getting to it during snow accumulation tricky. It isn't a big deal, just something to be prepared for.
3. There is no mud room or garage access. We had to improvise a staging area for our wet stuff when we came in from the snow. Again, not a big deal, but something to be prepared for.
4. There is not porter service that shovels the snow on the deck so be prepared to shovel it yourself.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property.
