Every thing about our stay was excellent from communication regarding information about the home to just about everything you might want in a cozy, comfortable home!

I had a wonderful stay in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Everything needed for an extended stay was provided. My host was attentive and helpful and responded in a timely manner. I stayed several weeks and was very comfortable everything worked properly. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Thank you for the thoughtful review! We’re glad you had a comfortable extended stay and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. We appreciate the recommendation and would be happy to host you again anytime.
Loved the old charm, very spacious and clean. The big desk was great for work. It snowed quite a bit, lots to shovel, plow came but was later in afternoon. Bathroom could use a remodel but clean. Basement was very clean for laundry. Great stay overall.

Thank you for the kind review! We’re glad you enjoyed the location and charm of the home. We’d be happy to host you again anytime.
We stayed for 5 days. Place was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need for a short stay. The beds were comfy and the house was cozy warm on what were the coldest days of the winter. Great neighborhood. Very quite. Highly recommend and will
stay again when back in town.
This home is a charming, tasteful and comfortable vacation place and I could not have been happier with our choice. We were in Oregon for my son’s wedding at White Pines and I stayed with my son, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter and we all loved it.
This property is in a quiet neighborhood. It is a charming little house. The beds were very comfortable and that is always very important.
Not many hotels in this area and it was near where I wanted to visit family so I did not have to drive very far to visit.
The owners were very responsive when we needed any kind of assistance.
We will surely stay here again!

Nice old home feel but disappointed the lawn was not mowed and shrubs not trimmed. Very good TV options and a large assortment of video movies.
This is almost the favorite place I have ever stayed at. The owner was very helpful. I was so comfortable and peaceful. All the details made the house so very special. Just all the special little touches down tothe doilies. The diverse library, the sunroom, the screened in room. The yard was so beautiful with all the hostas and old growth trees. I hope to come back again.
My sister lives nearby in a very small house, so we’re all congregated at this vrbo. It was wonderful! The home was so well stocked - were grilled out, played cards and trivial pursuit and had a great time. The home was clean. There was coffee, oil for cooking, spices, pans…everything! We ran out of propane and they were prepared with a spare. I can’t recommend highly enough!
Everything was great. The only problem we had was the lock on the back door. We could not get the code to work. It wasn’t a problem since the front door worked but wanted to let you know. It might be a battery or something simple as we didn’t do anything differently than the front door and it worked without problem. Thanks!
We came to honor my brother and your home was the perfect spot for it. I moved from Oregon in 1978 and come back often . It was so great to look at all your memorabilia . It was comfortable with all the extra blankets as we sat and talked about old times. We sat at the table for breakfast and we’re happy with all it. I can’t wait to come back and sit in the screened in porch and watch all the squirrels run and play. The beds were all comfortable so we were able to get some good sleep. I would defiantly recommend staying here. Thank you for sharing your home.
We had a pleasant stay in this charming cottage in town Oregon, Illinois. It’s clean and they had everything needed. It’s a well-maintained property that was great for the two of us, although there is room for more. The owners of the property are very courteous and responsive. You can walk to the town center, it’s not super close, but certainly walkable. Plus, it’s on a beautiful street so it’s a nice walk. The area is also quiet, which is nice. We thought the beds were comfortable, which is especially important to us. The second bedroom is small, but functional. Overall, I recommend the property if you are okay with staying in a charming older cottage. We would stay again.
Vielen Dank! Es freut uns sehr, dass Ihnen das Ferienhaus gefallen hat. Sie sind jederzeit wieder herzlich willkommen!
