We chose to develop this 10 acre wooded picturesque property to build on because of its close proximity to the many Northern Michigan hot spots known world wide. Conveniently located just 0ne mile from Lake Michigan and Frankfort Pier , built by an experienced Michigan custom home builder, this brand new ranch style home includes a finished lower level walk out that was finished being built in April 2023 specifically for vacationing enjoyment ! We are expierenced Vacationhosts -mostly here on VRBO with combinedd over 100 5 Star ratings on comparable homes. This new home boasts 5 spacious bedrooms ( 4 king size comfy beds+ !)and 4 bathrooms with lots of possible sleeping arrangements. Its mesmerizing how on a windy day the towering pines sway back and forth way up high ! When we were building this summer we came to realize the shocking fact is there were no mosquitoes ! We stayed in the house with windows wide open and no screens in yet ! We are optimistic in hoping this will continue ! Multiple panoramic awarding winning Golf courses to choose from in any direction ! Hiking , Biking and Kayaking ( 3 Kayaks and one excellent new paddle board easy to transport at house -no charge )You have 10 acres of walking trails up and down ridges to explore. (We also just finished building another home behind this home-through the woods- on 3 acres. On a rainy day not only do you have a selection of board games and activities but your group can also have a ping pong tournament ! Or grab the umbrella and explore the property. Even in the rain under the towering pines you barely get wet. Down in the valley you just might come across an interesting large grouping of old rocks positioned in an interesting shape .. I wonder whats under them... Please explore... A second new build is now available ! and also sits on the over 3 acre wooded ridge behind 47 Blair Ridge with just enough privacy but close for larger groups that want to be close . Same price range. Similar amenities.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please turn up AC when leaving. Do not leave windows open while running ac.
Please only use one trash bin . There are 2 but we have 2 houses.
Only use driveway that has your sign by it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please gather up used towels/linens (matteress pad bedspreads stay in rooms unless soiled) START LAUNDRY PLEASE
Please take the trash out to the main road do not bring Bins back to houses because they are shared. ROADSIDE pickup is WEDNESDAY AM. Do your dishes.
This is a large home it takes House Keeper ALL ALOTTED time to clean all surfaces. Additional fee charged for unreasonable amount of cleaning.

Had a great stay with family. There were eight of us and there was plenty of room with comfortable beds. Very quiet location and close to Frankfort. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would not hesitate to return.

Great Property

We enjoyed our stay very much. if you are looking for a quiet place to get away to this is it. It is close to town with many great things to do but yet quiet with no one bothering you. Michele was easy to work with and reassured us of a few mishaps and everything turned out great.

Can't Wait To Go Back!

We had never been to the Frankfurt area, and now we wish we would have found it sooner! The town and surrounding are were just right, avoiding the massive crowds and construction in Traverse City. We can't wait to go back! The house was fantastic and located right outside of town, and near the boat ramp for Crystal Lake. We loved how easy the access to everything was.

One of our favorite places

My family 7 adults and 5 children, we all enjoy the house. It was close enough to the downtown area and beaches. The shops were nice to visit ( we bought a few things) We all enjoyed the view from the park and the beach. We had a great time and will book the house again ( hopefully soon) Thank you so much. The house was the perfect size for our family of 9 that included 4 younger grandchildren. The kids all slept in the bunk bed room on first floor and loved it.The distance to town and a very nice beach was only a few minutes by car.There were plenty of beds, bathrooms and couches and chairs on the main and lower floors.The kitchen was well stocked and the back deck was perfect to eat meals on overlooking the wooded tree line. We spent a few late evenings after kids went to bed enjoying conversations on the deck and lower level family room area. Our daytime excersions included convenient drives to Frankfort, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Crystal Lake and Arcadia Bluffs for golf.

Awsome Stay

Michele is a wonderful person. She explained every details before the trip. The house was too good, Spacious , clean and equipped with all needed stuff. Some more bigger utensils are expected as the house can accommodate 10 plus guest. The surrounding of house is breathe talking. I will definitely recommend the stay to others. We loved it....

2024 vcay

We stayed for a week with our 4 grown children, 4 spouses /significant other, 7 grandchildren, and 3 dogs. We had a fantastic time. There was more than enough room for comfortable sleep for everyone. The kitchen was convenient and well appointed. We enjoyed the hot tub. The location was excellent and we enjoyed the lakes and beaches, small towns, lovely vista and canoeing, tubing, golfing, and amenities at Crystal Mountain. Michele was a great host and friendly and easy to contact. All in all a great stay! I hope to be back!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful week here with our family, including 9 adults and 8 children aged 2-13. The house is much more spacious than it appears in the exterior picture. The lower level family room was great for the kids. Kitchen is well-equipped and the small kitchen on the lower level was great for extra refrigerator space. The beds were great—probably the most comfortable we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. Michelle was very helpful with information about the area, and very responsive to any needs or questions we had. It’s a beautiful home in a gorgeous area, and we’d love to return!

Wedding Party Getaway

We had a great trip to Michigan with our wedding party to celebrate. Michelle was great and had everything we could need plus some in the house. The house is beautiful and the property is so quiet and secluded in a wooded area. It was great for our large group. The beach is only 2 mimutes away and the little town is so cute with a few places to eat and shop. Fusion was a great place for dinner with our group of 15. The apps and sushi were 10/10 amazing. I def. Recommend this location and will be returning myself with my kids in the future ♡

Perfect Up North Labor Day Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental home! The location couldn't have been better—just a short drive to the beach, the downtown area, and nearby lighthouse, which made our daily trips effortless and enjoyable. The house was incredibly spacious, comfortably accommodating our large group of four families. The kids loved the tree-lined property with trails all around - perfect for hide-and-seek! There was more than enough firewood for the fire pit. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of utensils and supplies, making meal preparation a breeze, even for a big group like ours. The owners were fantastic and made us feel right at home. They were easily accessible by text or phone and promptly answered any questions or concerns we had. Their attentiveness really added to the overall positive experience. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely consider returning for future vacations! Highly recommend!

Both areas have so much nature beauty we never tire of exploring just another "trail through the Woods."

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this 10 acre wooded setting on a ridge because it has just enough ridge to feel like you are on a mountaintop but also enough trees to feel private and secluded. Located only a couple miles from Lake Michigan so you can easily see the possibility of a colorful sunset before the sun drops, in the brilliantly colored sky filtered softly through the lit up towering pine trees ! Its beautiful ! Sometimes we just start a bon fire and watch it through the trees. Or you can jump in your car and be at the Pier in Frankfort in a couple minutes for the show ! Second home will be ready for summer also !

What makes this property unique

This is a brand new home with all of the bells and whistles of a new build but we wanted it to be comfortable most of all and convenient to all that the area has to offer.
This spot is just south of the entrance to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. There is so much nature to take in , we have been coming for over 10 years and still have not gotten tired of exploring new vistas and hikes and beaches ! Its an incredible area !
