The Kahana area offers restaurants, coffee shops, beach gear rentals, and markets all within walking distance.

While Hololani sits oceanfront, usable beach access varies by season and tide. Sandbags are in place to protect the shoreline; guests can find accessible sandy beaches nearby within a few minutes’ walk or drive.

🏨 HOTEL ZONED: This property is Hotel Zoned and NOT in danger of the possible upcoming short-term rental ban.

💨 NO AIR CONDITIONING: There is no A/C at this resort. Ceiling fans are provided in every room, and the West Maui trade winds help keep the unit cool and comfortable year-round.

🐓🦎 PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS:

Due to Maui’s rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.

Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports a variety of island wildlife, including geckos, ants, and occasional roosters. Despite regular professional pest control, these are part of normal island living. Our units are carefully cleaned and inspected, and any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refund or adjustment.

Beautiful Property!

My husband and I (along with our friends) spent our last 2 nights on Maui in this beautiful property. It was perfect for our party of 4. Clean and well appointed. We appreciated the beach chairs. Thanks for the coffee and chocolates!

Great location!

We loved feeling as if we could touch the ocean and being able to sit out on the balcony and see sea turtles every day was amazing. My husband was even able to snorkel a little near them. I don't know that there is always ocean access near the condo but he was able to manage and after rinsing off he took a dip in the pool which he said was very nice. The condo looked just like the pictures and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the dishes, pots & pans, and appliances you could hope for. There were toiletries in both bathrooms which was definitely appreciated and my daughter loved the welcome gift of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. The only ding isn't so much the lack of air conditioning which was in the description and something we knew about but the second bedroom had no ventilation except a small window and was hot to sleep in. The bedroom by the balcony was much better with both sliders open and the fans going. The property was very quiet at night so sleeping with the doors open and hearing the ocean was fantastic. Overall we appreciated the amazing views and quiet location and would stay again in the future.

Beautiful

My friend and I had a great stay in Maui. The patio overlooking the ocean was perfect. We sat there each morning and had coffee and each night watching the sunset. There are multiple sea turtles that can be seen from the patio. Great stay, would stay again.
