The hosts were fantastic and the amenities were terrific. The views are amazing. Exactly what I wanted. I have to be fully transparent though, the pictures show a queen size bed in the second bedroom but there were two single beds. It does say in writing there are two single beds, but I missed that part.

We were very disappointed with our experience at this condo. Upon arrival, it was clear that the unit had not been well cleaned. On top of that, there was a noticeable bug infestation throughout our stay, which made the space feel uncomfortable.The back door did not open or close properly, which caused a constant draft and created a whistle noise. To make things worse, the air conditioning never cooled the unit below 74, making it difficult to relax or sleep comfortably.Overall, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, and poor climate control made this stay far below our expectations. Unfortunately, we would not return or recommend this property.

Overall, our stay was fantastic. The condo was as described and well appointed with essentials for a comfortable stay. A little outdated, but that isn’t a problem. Primary bed/bath was comfortable. Second bedroom had very firm mattresses. Would have been nice if the two twin beds could be pushed together for another king bed. Gym is musty and could certainly use updating, but this is not held against the condo owner. Only slight negative is that the trade winds create a very loud “whistle” due to the sliding glass door and front door not being air tight. Thankfully, the winds die down in the evenings.

The property was clean however we did see about 5 cockroaches in our 10 night stay. As mentioned in another review there is a very loud obnoxious whistling sound that comes from the front doors but can be lessened by opening up the slider. The trade winds really come through good and keep the place cool in the afternoon and evening when lounging. My daughter used the sofa as a bed and seemed pleased. The master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced… desperately. You can see the sagging when you walk in to the bedroom. Although it wasn’t unbearable for 10 nights I'm looking forward to a springless mattress at home. The beach isn’t really a beach unless you walk along the sandbags to the left and go to the neighboring beach access. This was a bummer to me as I’d hoped for a nice beach. However there are lots of great beaches nearby and the cooler and beach chairs make it a nice and easy journey. We packed lunches almost daily. If you choose to rent snorkels note they have a couple in the closet already which we didn’t realize before we had rented for a week from snorkel Bobs. Also check other places they may be cheaper. The kitchen was equipped with most of what we needed although out of salt and no other seasoning. We were excited to see a Yahtzee game but then saddened to see it didn’t have dice so we went to the store right by the gas station to buy some. I would consider this a nice budget friendly type place, not high end & with little frills. Overall it wasn’t bad!

Good home base

We enjoyed our stay :) The location was great and the grounds were nice, though there really isn't a beach (just stacked sandbags). It was easy to walk to the beachfront of the neighboring resorts, though, with areas to set up our chairs. The condo itself was comfortable and well-kept. We did have one big issue, though-- we used the living room sofa bed for our daughter, and she had a terrible time trying to sleep due to a very loud whistling noise that was coming through the crack between the double-front doors, something we could not fix. We were able to lower the volume/strength of the wind whistling through by keeping the balcony sliding door open an inch, but the whistling was still so noisy. We did let the management company know so that hopefully they can figure out a solution (weather-stripping between the two front doors to better seal them perhaps?). We thought we should include this in our review, though, in case it is not fixed and any other families plan to use the living room as a bedroom. Overall, though, we did enjoy our stay, and couldn't have asked for a better location!

Comfortable and relaxing

The check-in process was clear and easy. The property management was attentive and opened. They checked in with us often if we had any questions or concerns. The view was gorgeous. It was nice waking up to the view of the ocean. Everything we needed for cooking was available. There are beach chairs as well. We had one minor issue it was that the washer in the condo was not functioning; therefore the property management did communicate that with us in advance and informed us we could use the onsite washer and they’ll reimburse us. It was a little inconvenient because I had to hand wash a few things since I didn’t feel like going to onsite washer, but I did appreciate the advance notice about this. When it’s windy, it can get a little loud but I was able to close the windows to minimize the sound. The noisy wind is not daily so it wasn’t a big problem. Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay. It felt like home.

Beautiful stay in Kahana

This was a great location in Northwest Maui. There is lots of great snorkeling and surfing around that area. The beach was underwater this time of year (winter), but that was communicated to us ahead of time. Regardless, it’s close to a variety of beaches and activities. My family had an awesome trip.

Perfect location and plenty of room

Family vacation of 5 adults, perfect location and comfortable for all of us. Loved all the amenities and loved ocean views every morning and watching sunset at pool right near the beach.

Great Condo in a Great Area!

The condo had everything we needed for our stay! It was clean and comfortable and in a great location, close to everything we needed. We had an issue with the key but communication with the property manager was fast and efficient! I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maui!

Great first trip

Never been to Hawaii and this host was so helpful with great suggestions and helpful advice. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this host and this location.

Great Spot

Great spot close to everything. Plenty of beaches, shops and restaurants within walking distance. 5 min drive to Kaanapali resorts. Will definitely be back.

Awesome place for a quiet Hawaii getaway. A little drive from the major attractions, but worth it, given the price. The apartment is very clean, neat and comfortable. It had everything we needed, even beach chairs and a cooler! The view is amazing! You can see the ocean from several rooms, the view from the balcony is the best! The pool is available for use for free, and it is heated, which was nice. The host was very responsive. Thank you fornthe great stay!

Penthouse quality- perfect location

We loved our stay at this property. Great starting point to explore different parts of the island, and return for beautiful sunsets every night at the beach/pool. Host very friendly and proactive in communication. Loved our stay, we will be back.

AMAZING

We absolutely loved our stay here. The condo was quiet, clean and spacious. We truly didn’t want to leave. The beds were sooo comfortable and the air conditioning was a blessing. The manager was quick to respond to allocate my questions. The view was absolutely beautiful. The chairs and noodles were very handy. We will recommend this place to all of our friends and family. Okay..

It was my first time in Maui. I had no problem with the condo at all, it was very clean, well equipped and the staff was very friendly. The only problem that i had, which is the reason i might not return to this location, is that we were the only group of young people in the entire complex (30s to 40s). I read the terms of the rental contract and it was never stated that we could not play music. My group of friends and i, decided to stay in one day of our week to enjoy the pool. We brought a small speaker box and played some music (i promise it was at a really low volume) if you walked across the pool, you wouldn’t be able to hear our music, that’s how low it was. Well, a gentleman probably in his 70s, approached us and asked us to turn off our music because people were complaining. He left, but we kept our music the same. Later on, a lady demanded us to turn it off. This lady was extremely rude, stating multiple time she was the owner of one of the many condos and threatened us with calling the manager and getting us kicked out. I asked her politely to please bring the manager to us and she agreed and told us she was going to come back with him. This lady did not come back with the manager, instead she kept talking to other people at the pool complaining about us. The last people we saw her talking to, was an older couple who later at night found the condo where we were staying and started knocking super loud. This was extremely creepy. Not coming back.

Fun in Maui

The barbecue grills were exceptional and well maintained — we used them on numerous occasions! The condo was in a great location for restaurants and shopping! Our party also enjoyed snorkeling off the beach at the condo! The condo itself with nice balcony met our needs very well! The kitchen was well equipped! Overall it was a fun and very good experience!
