Este hermoso condominio de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños tiene todo lo que necesita para sus vacaciones hawaianas perfectas. Con un rey en el dormitorio principal, 2 camas dobles y una cama queen en el dormitorio de invitados y un sofá cama queen en la sala de estar, puede alojar cómodamente a 6 personas.

¡The Sands of Kahana tiene algo para todos! Con una piscina frente al mar que encantará a toda la familia y una piscina solo para niños donde los más pequeños pueden disfrutar. Después de una aventura en Maui, dirígete y relájate en el jacuzzi. Hay una cancha de voleibol de arena, tres canchas de tenis y un putting green de 9 hoyos. The property itself is in a great location with a beautiful view, and the listing was accurate in mentioning there are two portable AC units — one in the living room and one in the second bedroom. These 2 small portable units are just not enough to keep the unit even relatively cool. The sun screens didn’t block the heat effectively, and the main bedroom with the king bed was far too hot to use. My husband and I ended up sleeping in the smaller 'kids room' with the 2 bunk beds & the full-size bed - we closed the door and with the second portable AC running we could sleep ok on the full-size bed. We spent all our nights in that room.Even with both AC units and the 3 fans going, it was still warmer inside than outside. The property appeared clean overall (though we did see one roach crawl out of the toaster on the kitchen counter). The property manager was polite, responsive, and communicated well — this review isn’t a reflection on them at all.If indoor temperature comfort is important to you, I’d recommend considering that carefully before booking this unit. I regret not taking the previous reviews about the heat more seriously. Sadly, we wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it based mainly on the uncomfortable temperature.

I have been coming to Maui every year for about 10 years and staying at Sands of Kahana every time. This is the third unit I have stayed in at Sands of Kahana. Definitely the closest to the ocean and most conveniently located unit. The first floor location makes it convenient to haul luggage, groceries, go to the pool or parking garage as opposed to some of the units located on the higher floors that I have previously stayed in. Great view of the ocean, beach and pool area. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The newly remodeled Captain Jacks located on the premises has amazing food, great drinks and a friendly staff making it convenient for those days you don't want to cook or drive somewhere. The unit stayed cool most of the time throughout the day, but would recommend a separate AC unit in the master as it tends to get hot later in the day/night.

This unit is as good as described. Great view from the living room and balcony. Very large unit with comfortable beds. Kitchen also large and fully equipped. Beach and pool just steps away. Nice restaurant near the pool. Grills available on the property as well. Highly recommend this unit. Everything went very smoothly!

Gorgeous oceanfront location

Beautiful condo with stunning views and breathtaking sunsets. Not just of views of the ocean but down the shoreline also. Kitchen well equipped - loved the countertop ice machine!Unit is on the first floor which was convenient to parking.We especially appreciated the two ac units keeping us comfortable. Beaches are great for swimming.

The most STUNNING VIEW EVER!

I was a little nervous about this being a first floor unit after reading a few reviews, but it is not a ground floor unit! Parking is underneath and the view is not affected whatsoever! This unit had the most stunning views of anywhere I’ve ever experienced! Sea Turtles would come and lay on the beach, and we watched whales breach right from the lanai! Just magnificent!!!

Imagine sitting on your Lanai sipping your coffee and seeing a dozen whales frolicking in the waters off of West Maui. That’s what this property offers. It is nicely appointed, clean and close to many attractions and amenities. Can’t go wrong.

Beautiful Ocean View

We have stayed multiple times at this resort. This has been one of the better rooms with great ocean views. Only wish the master bedroom had an ac unit as it got a little warm even with all the fans going.

Wonderful property

The location and view cannot be beat. Friendly onsite staff with great communication. Unit is fully stocked and clean with tons of towels, blankets, pillows for the whole family. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Great unit but pay attention to room numbers

Property well equipped and clean with plenty of room. Views were great for a 1st floor unit. Keep in mind there is no A/C but 2 room units were available. Used one in the front bedroom for the teens but never turned on the second unit as there was enough breeze by keeping the sliders open to the lanai and louvers open in the front. Location was perfect right between Lahaina & Kapalua. The only downside is that when the reservation was made we were told it was a 3rd floor unit which is what I wanted due to breeze and views. With a room number of Three 1 six you would think this would be true but in The Sands Of Kahana this means building 3 floor 1 room 6. The reservation dept should know this. In any event as disappointed I was with the level the stay was still wonderful!

Perfect family vacation

This home was spacious and had plenty of beds for us and our kids. It was nice to have the room to spread out at the end of the day when we were tired. The bathrooms were nice and had great water pressure. The kitchen was so handy to eat in and save a bit of money. The view was the best part though. Being right on the ocean’s edge you can hear the waves and watch the sunset right from the living area. It was perfection.

This is a beautifully maintained condo right on the water. We spent our two weeks listening to the ocean waves during the day and then lulling us to sleep. The condo has all the cooking & sleeping equipment you need along with a closet full of beach supplies. Within the resort is a restaurant called "The Beach House". Very handy & good food. We loved it there I know you will too!

Beautiful condo with amazing views!

Spacious, bright condo with an amazing balcony overlooking the ocean for awesome sunsets. We also spotted whales breaching daily! The spacious living areas, well-equipped kitchen, and washer/dryer made for a fantastic week's stay. We snorkeled with sea turtles at the beach out front, and it was easy driving to several other great beaches. I would highly recommend this property!

Enjoying Sand of Kahana!!!!

View was outstanding! Location to beach perfect! Saw Amazing sunsets. Very spacious for our family. Large kitchen and living areas. Wish ac could’ve been better. Parking garage tight but we made it work. Supplies in unit perfect. Loved the attention to detail!

Nice beach condo…check the fees

Our family really enjoyed this condo. It’s clean, the beds are comfortable and the views are beautiful. Despite the photos, the condo is located on the 2nd floor. Expect noise from the beach and the pool. Be sure to check the addl. fees before you commit. They are NOT posted in the listing and add a lot to your final bill. The condo is managed by a property mngmt. company. They charged us a service fee, an admin. fee, a cleaning fee, a credit card fee and a front desk fee. But this might be the norm for Maui. Check first!

Return to Paradise did not disappoint!! View is stellar and you really can't get closer to the ocean

I had stayed at Sands of Kahana back in the 80's and 90's and knew I loved the location and views. I looked for an oceanfront as close to the ocean but couldn't find one. Looking out over Lanai and Molokai, and whales were almost always spotted. The beautiful sunsets are right out your window and door. We found the condo very spacious with the kitchen having everything we needed. Wish I was there right now!!!

Great for Families

The property is every bit as gorgeous as the photos and well maintained. It's on the first floor (ground level is covered parking), so access to the beach and pool and easy. The property feels like a hotel, but as the unit is privately owned, services aren't provided by the property (eg. we needed an emergency extra roll of toilet tissue and were told by the front desk to call the property manager). The check-in fee was a non-refundable $75 (I still have no idea why the steep fee since they didn't really provide any service), but other than that minor issue, the place was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped. Though the emails in advance said there would be no spices, the unit had every spice and seasoning one could need as well as aluminum foil. The kids were delighted by the the bunk beds, and Grandpa (84) said it was perfect. :)

Beautiful Condo & Views

This condo was great for our family of 5! We loved the balcony overlooking the ocean, the spacious living areas, and the well-stocked kitchen. The space was very clean and the decor was both beautiful and functional. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space we had. We also appreciated having a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful location! Amazing View!

The ocean view immediately in front of our balcony is perfect! This unit was perfect for our family of 5. It was bigger then the pictures look and comfortable and clean. We saw sea turtles one day while sitting on our balcony watching the sun set. Highly recommend!

Wonderful choice for views and activities

The views are awesome and the beach is steps away. The kiddie pool is the best I have ever seen. It is nice to have access to a restaurant and activities on site.

Views! Views! Views!

The place is very large and the views are amazing! Beds are very comfortable and the large couches are great for kicking back. Our only complaint was the TV was listed in the ad for the guest bedroom and our friends really weren’t happy with no TV and their bathroom wasn’t very clean. Also a few spices would’ve been nice to have in the kitchen, but other than that, our stay was amazing! I would stay again in this unit for sure. The grounds on this property were top notch and the restaurant/bar was really good. Sands of Kahana is is a great place to stay in Maui, close to everything but quiet and relaxing.
