Large patio with a beautiful ocean view to watch the incredible sunrises and sunsets. Relax by the fire pit and cook some delicious food on the barbecue while you enjoy the fresh ocean air. Get in some exercise by walking/running along the boardwalk and seawall. Enjoy the beach with beach chairs, boogie boards, surfboard, and an umbrella.

We came to Carlsbad to visit my son and his wife who live just a few blocks from Austin and Rachel’s home. We always enjoy spending a lot of time at the beach with them so this house was in the perfect location, just a block from the beach. The house has everything you can possibly need. The kitchen is very well stocked with quality dishes and pots and pans. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of towels, beach towels and also beach chairs and an umbrella for guests to use. The chairs and umbrella were in good condition too, which isn’t always the case at beach house rentals. The patio is fabulous - huge, with loungers, a gas fire pit, gas barbecue grill, table and chairs - a great place to relax and hang out after a long day at the beach. There is also off street parking which was nice, especially on a holiday weekend when street parking near the beach was at a premium. We had a small issue with the air conditioner and the house was not cooling. Turns out a breaker had just flipped and Austin came over personally to take a look and found the issue. And just in case that didn’t fix the problem (which it did), Rachel ordered two fans that were delivered to the house right away. Great house and fantastic hosts - we will be back for sure when we come visit our son in Carlsbad.

Perfect Patio and Location!!!

Property was wonderful, and owners have done a great job with it. We spent every morning and evening on the front patio, next to the fire pit. Between fires we’d take a quick walk to the beach The joint is fully stocked with all the little things that add up if you buy them on your own and we never ran out of the essentials like paper products and soap! Such a nice street that is pretty much perfect!

Perfect Ocean Vacation

We had an amazing time. The proximity to the ocean and village were perfect and the house had all the amenities one would need for a beach day. The hosts were very responsive and kind. we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful host, great experience!

This is a beautiful little house, very close to the beach. It was super clean and that is always important to me and my family. The check in was easy and i would definitely stay here again!

Carlsbad Beach House

My friends and I had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again. We could see the ocean from our spot by the morning fire with our cup of coffee. These Minnesota girls were very happy!

Super fun Spring Break

The property was exactly as listed and soooo close to the Ocean and Legoland. We spent our time taking walks around the lovely and safe neighborhood and enjoyed cooking a few meals at home and lounging in the grass in the back yard. There was beach equipment to use and the walk to a comfortable beach for the kids was so short.

Beach Hideaway

Quiet neighborhood. Location to Carlsbad Village and beaches is really close. Great place to walk. House is clean and well stocked. Front courtyard is a great place to relax. Fenced courtyard and backyard make it really convenient if you have pets. Hosts were very responsive and thorough in giving information. Definite do again for us!!

Location location location!

Talk about a perfect beach house vacation spot👍. The house is small but every inch is usable, new, and comfortable. Huge backyard but we loved the front yard…Big BBQ/smoker and GREAT fire pit! Every morning we had coffee by the fire pit and a glass of wine at night with a partial ocean veiw and sunset. We will go there again!!!

Amazing Location

My wife and I stayed for 5 days at this little gem! The property was perfect for us and the yard was great for our doodle. This property is just 3-4 minute walk to the sand. The beach was perfect and not in a super busy location. Walking to the Carslbad Village was awesome! You can literally park when you arrive and not get in your car again till you leave! The owners have real pots & pans not the cheap stuff like some rentals. Everything was super clean and we'll appointed. The bbq was high quality and the huge patio with views of the ocean made us not want to leave! The bed was a little firm but comfortable. It was nice to not have to pack beach chairs, umbrella, towels as they are all ready to go in the garage. The neighborhood is super quiet, yet close to everything! We will definitely be booking this property again in the future! Thank you for making our stay perfect!

Cute little beach house with a great location!

down the street and set up in a not so busy area of the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the front patio. The home was comfortable and cozy. It was also stocked with plenty of beach towels, wash towels and everything we needed. Really enjoyed having beach chairs available for our use. Host also provided detailed check in with where we could locate any additional items we needed such as more towels, etc. Laundry room was also stocked with detergent which was really nice to be able wash our clothes before our return home. Overall, I highly recommend this beach house!

MOST AWESOME!!!!

Rachel was the hostess with the mostest. She was quick to respond to all my text and was so helpful.. Best Host I've had in all my many VRBO/Abnb's.. My teenage Granddaughters and I loved our stay. The house was nicely stocked, we used the boogie boards an umbrella and a chair. I didn't have to unpack mine.. The house was very clean the beds were comfortable. Having the beach so close was awesome. The pouch was so special we ate our dinners out there and one night did the fire pit. Nice quite neighborhood. My full sized truck was a tight squeeze in the driveway but made it work. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend this awesome home. And hope to visit again.. Thank you Rachel :)

Front Patio is Awesome!

Outdoor living is great when you can hear and see the ocean in comfort! The front patio was great for our dog, who could freely roam outside with us because it was completely enclosed. We enjoyed lunch at the large patio table under the shaded unbrella, relaxed in the lounge chairs and told stories around the fire each night. The home owners had the best beach gear, including large Tommy Bahama chairs with storage packs so you could easily carry all your towels, drinks, sunscreen, etc. They also had brand new boogie boards which our daughter got a lot of use from! The large couch was very comfortable and the entire home was so much more charming in person. The kitchen had everything we needed and they included a great Keurig coffee maker with a lot of K-cup coffee options, even hot chocolate for the kids. The bed in the master was a little too firm for my taste and the bathroom was small and it was hard to find a place to do makeup. However, the amazing front patio, having our own adorable Spanish Colonial cottage and being able to be on the beach in only a few minutes was worth it! Great little rental for a family with pets in a nice walkable neighborhood.

Very cute beach house!

We had a fantastic time at this cute beach house steps from the ocean. It was even better than the pictures, and plenty of room for my family of four and our two labradoodles. Front patio with ocean view was great for breakfasts outside, and our dogs loved the huge backyard. Very comfortable and clean. Easy walk to Carlsbad village and all its shops, restaurants and ice cream! We walked to the village every day for breakfast. 10/10 would stay again!

Perfect spot near the beach!

This was a perfect spot for our family. It was just a few houses away from the ocean. It had all the necessary kitchen items I needed. Thoughtful touches like a coffee maker and coffee! The host was extremely responsive and helpful! You won’t be disappointed here!
