A vintage chic cottage that is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life, without a long drive. 40 miles from Bangor International Airport and 5 miles from Dover-Foxcroft.
Bring your own boat, use our kayak, or rent a boat at the marina only a block away. A peaceful enclosed porch with lots of windows overlooks Sebec Lake.
Full kitchen, BBQ grill & fireplace.
1 king bed, 2 twin beds, 1 full size pull-out couch bed. Sleeps up to 5. Perfect for families, friends, or a couples getaway
Other things to note
Our cottage offers a bulkhead plus a moor to dock your boat. Our bulkhead portion is about 25 feet in overall length with a ladder to disembark. In addition, very sturdy steps that lead directly into the water, this is perfect for going swimming, climbing onto your floatie or getting into kayak. If your boat is longer than 25 feet you will have to moor it. The dock that is located to the left side of the property belongs to the neighbor, kindly do not use.

Adorable lakeside cabin

We had a lovely stay at this adorable 1920s era cabin right on Sebec Lake. The lake was surprisingly quiet and peaceful for 4th of July weekend! The cabin was clean, well appointed, and had everything needed for a fun weekend getaway! The lake views are stunning!

Perfect, quiet weekend away for my husband and I! The front porch was where we spent all our time. Very clean, anything we needed was available, and Kim was very communicative in making sure we were all set. As with many Maine camps, very steep stairs to the upstairs sleeping area but it’s well lit. Neighbors are very close but everyone was nice and welcoming. We rented a boat for the day from Merrill’s Marina half a mile away and explored the lake that way. We would definitely stay again!

Why they chose this property

This cottage is just so cute. Perfect for a quick getaway or a few weeks. The extra island table in the kitchen can open up to be used as a work desk. The neighbors are close as well as some the sweetest people you will probably every meet! Enjoy the kayak and/or canoe left for your use. Private steps allow rare easy access to the water with a sandy small "beach" area. BBQ right there at the water's edge. Merrill's Marina is just 2 blocks away as well as a large public beach. Bring your boat or rent one from Merrill's Marina.
Peaks Kenny State Park is also just down the street. Enjoy peaceful walks or bike rides.

What makes this property unique

Chic cottage located right on the Sebec Lake water's edge with private steps right down into the lake. Enjoy boating (bring own or rent), canoe, kayak, walks, BBQ without having to drive anywhere. Kitchen is stocked with all the basics if you enjoy cooking or just minutes from town if you prefer eating out.
