About the host
Hosted by Garrett
Hi I'm Garrett, I purchased this property in 2007 and have loved being here ever since. The Oklahoma wilderness is so peaceful and beautiful. I would love to have the opportunity to share my rustic cabin experience with you.
Why they chose this property
I grew up in Stillwater, then moved out of state for work. I knew I wanted to come back to Oklahoma when I retired so I chose this area because of the wilderness, stars, wildlife, and peace and quiet as well as a place to ride my horse.
What makes this property unique
The cabins are rugged and rustic which is part of the ambience. Three themed cabins sit between a 10 acre lake which they face and a 5 acre pond right behind them so there is good fishing all around. There is a good amount of trees and shrubs between each cabin so privacy is maintained. The furniture is worn, but sturdy which fits right into this theme. All linens are fresh for every guest. At night you can hear coyotes in the distance, frogs croaking and there are geese, ducks and deer to observe most days. A walking/biking path goes all the way around the lake for nature lovers.
