LOCATION:
A private paradise right in the heart of the action. Located downtown, but once you enter it feels like your own secluded private oasis. Just a few short blocks until you're relaxing on the sandy beaches or heading for a night out on the town! Casa Corona is a luxurious multi-level, 6 bedroom, 8 bath open-air home located in walking distance of the finest restaurants, galleries, and shopping downtown Puerto Vallarta has to offer. Casa Corona showcases classic Hacienda architecture and the finest craftsmanship and authentic decor in the region.
No car is needed, within walking distance to most everything. Taxi/Uber everywhere throughout the city if you prefer. Bus is a safe and authentic experience, too!

Our staff is very accommodating, we strive on customer service and will be in frequent communication to assure you have the most relaxing stay possible, from time of booking and throughout your stay.

STAFF:
Our guests rave about our accommodating staff, including owners, property managers, house staff and chef. We offer a smooth, hassle-free booking process and travel resource as you plan your travel to PV, with Travel tips and accommodations along the way from transportation to assisting with grocery shopping and stocking the gourmet kitchen prior to arrival. TIPPING:
Please remember to tip your staff, it is customary in Mexico to tip all service staff. This includes maids, concierge, chef, maintenance. Local custom is 15-20% in restaurants and bars.

Great for large family gatherings, birthdays and anniversaries, couples retreat, corporate retreat, bachelorettes and gatherings. Casa Corona has been the perfect venue for WEDDINGS & EVENTS of all sizes with resources and accommodations to help meet your needs. We can help coordinate vendors and/or provide reliable references. Events must be coordinated with management prior to arrival. Otherwise, if not a pre-arranged gathering this is not a party house, please no loud music and be respectful of your neighbors.

OVERVIEW:
Staff is so accommodating, it's like walking into heaven. Authentic decor everywhere you look and each suite has a different theme with beautiful furniture, decor & local art everywhere you look.

An exceptional place for large gatherings, the main floor features an expansive great room and an extraordinary gourmet kitchen with state of the art appliances and fixtures. Three of the exquisite en-suite bedrooms are located here. Two of the bedrooms share a common veranda overlooking the ocean, the third bedroom features a private garden and soaking tub. The great room overlooks the private grounds featuring the Jacuzzi tub which cascades into the pool.

Three remaining bedrooms are located on the lower grounds level, surrounded by lush native gardens, pool, jacuzzi and outdoor BBQ area, the grounds are perfect for entertaining friends and family or corporate events.

The rooftop terrace level captures the breathtaking 360 view of the ocean and entire city. Perfect for watching priceless sunsets, whale watching or entertaining friends while enjoying the nightly fireworks.

Absolutely gorgeous place in Centro Vallarta

Stunning house in the perfect location, just blocks from the malecon. The staff was friendly, and the owner and manager are fantastic, great communication and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this place, and I for sure will be coming back.

Wonderful time.. Location was perfect, in town but private and felt secluded. Great house with comfortable rooms and plenty of space for the 10 of us. Chef service with Jonathon and team was spectacular---best food i have had on vacation. Highly recommend and hope to return

Casa Corona exceeded all my expectations!!! What a beautiful home! We had the most wonderful time The staff was amazing. the chef is highly recommended. When we go back to PV - we won't stay anywhere but Casa Corona! the location is perfect - away from the resorts, but still in town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Incredible location and beautiful accomodations. Spotless and spacious- our group of 8 had more room than we needed. The hot tub and pool were perfect, as was the picture perfect grounds. You'd never know it was in the middle of the block, until you go through the doors and this fantasy setting opens before you. The views from the top 2 levels are superb. Great restaurants within 10 minutes walking. We've been there twice and plan to return this year.

Spring Break 2023

This house is perfect in every way! It was ideal for our group; two families of 6, vacationing together for Spring Break. Location, location, location!!! Walking distance to many wonderful restaurants, the beach, the Melacon and shopping. The staff is amazing! We hired chef Jonathan and his wife Maria, who are also fabulous. We ate amazing meals and they made us feel extremely spoiled. The house is lovely and very comfortable. It was so much better than staying in a huge resort. We will absolutely go back!!!

What a terrific family vacation!

Our 11 member family stayed at Casa Corona the week before Christmas. We were all pleased with our week! It is a lovely Mexican villa in a perfect spot for taking advantage of all Puerto Vallarta has to offer. Great owners and staff made organizing ahead of time easy. Everyone was helpful and kind. We hired Jonathan, chef, for 3 nights and feasted like kings! Kids and adults arranged parasailing and bungy jumping, took a cooking class, made a botanical garden trip, and much more. Amazing Vacation!

Six couples, seven nights. It was an amazing time. The house is gorgeous and has everything you could want, plus it is super close to downtown which includes tons of restaurants and nightclubs. We had the house stocked with food and drinks prior to our arrival and had no real reason to leave the entire time. The place is a sanctuary and it couldn't have been better. The owner is great and super easy to work with. The property manager couldn't be more amazing either. The staff is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about Casa Corona. We will be back. You won't regret staying here.

Awesome villa in the heart of Centro

We rented Casa Corona to celebrate my MiL’s 80th birthday. We had ten members of the family ages 80 to 15. Casa Corona is amazing. The house is an oasis in the middle of PV’s Centro district just 3 blocks from the Malecón. The bedrooms are air conditioned, so even being there in July was great. The staff was great and met all our needs. Do yourself a favor and hire the chef for at least one meal. Chef Jonathan’s creations are the best Mexican food any of us have eaten, and we are from Southern California. Jonathan and Maria are very entertaining, I promise you will want them back a second time, in our case for a cooking lesson. The house manager Emma was extremely helpful and all her recommendations for activities were spot on. I can’t recommend Casa Corona enough for a large group visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Paradise at Casa Corona

We are a group of Minnesota couples renting all of Casa Corona for a month and will be returning for our 3rd year in 2014 and hope to return many more. Even though there is room for all of us we each have our own privacy. The Casa is spotless and well maintained by Carlos the pool and maintenance man and Linda the housekeeper. They are friendly and also very helpful. The photos on the web look great but when you arrive and look around - IT'S PARADISE! Right in the heart of Puerto Vallarta! Watching the whales and sunsets from the roof garden are spectacular! You can walk to shops and restaurants on the Malecon or to PiPis right up the street. Debbie the property manager can be easily reached on the phone and will help with tours and she referred a wonderful chef who cooked fabulous meals for us in house. Don't miss staying at Casa Corona, it's a relaxing, beautiful, exciting vacation!

The perfect venue for our BIG DAY!

My husband and I chose Casa Corona as the venue for our wedding reception. We arrived at Casa Corona five days before our wedding day with our bridal party. We stayed at the house with our 3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsman and some of their significant others. The house was a perfect size for all of us to spend time together. Unfortunately, it rained everyday leading up to our wedding but the villa was such a great place to relax, we didn't let the weather hold us back. We were able to walk to all of our wedding events, and the location was ideal for our guests to come and go as they pleased. We still swam in the pool and hopped up to the hot tub if we got cold. Our first night in the house we had a cook out down at the grill by the pool and took advantage of the small entertaining area down there. The villa staff (maids and maintenance) were very prompt and polite and kept the place looking great throughout our stay. On the day of our wedding, Casa Corona created the perfect backdrop for our pre ceremony photos. The mirrors and headboards in all the bedrooms were ornate details that set the stage for our day. The lush greens meeting the brick pathways were great for all of our group wedding photos as well. Our entire wedding party walked only a few blocks to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for our evening ceremony on New Years Day. The villa could not have been a more perfect location for us to move our wedding of 60 people to and from our locations. Sun set during our ceremony and afterwards we gave all of our guests sparklers and as we were met with a Mariachi Band and lead a procession through the town back to Casa Corona. Upon our arrival the rooftop patio had been transformed. We had lantern lights, floating candles, splashes of color, the food buffet, the bar, and the DJ. Everything came together flawlessly and the rain had finally passed. There were so many details that went into planning our wedding abroad. The owner and management team at Casa Corona were always responsive and more than willing to answer any questions we had. It was such a relief not to have to stress about our venue! Thank you to everyone who made our special day possible and we hope someday we will be able to return to Casa Corona!

incredible place to stay right in the very heart of the city. Gardens & private personal paradise!

This gorgeous Villa has a very private feel, great staff, & it was clean and we all enjoyed the different spaces the villa has to offer. Each room has its own on suite bath that is private and unique, every bedroom is different, the mansion is beautifully furnished with personal artwork and handmade furniture that the owner hand picked from travels all over Mexico. We thought we were in a mansion! Oh yeah...We were! We hired the house chef to come in, they made drinks and even served us pool side, then had an awesome 7 course meal with deep fried ice cream and coconut cake that was all hand made. We played games called corn hole, shooting baskets in the pool, and played card games and even snorkeled in the pool diving for coins! We used the hot tub, and watched to see the Green Flash on the horizon as the sun set! Oh the awesome sun sets! We did not get to see that one, so we have to go back to beautiful Casa Corona. We had coffee on the roof top while listening to the wild parakeets, and birds and humming birds feed on the garden flowers! There is a resident squirrel also, I think we will name him Lieutenant! We went everywhere in the city, walked up to the cross above the villa, 225 steps is a work out but well worth the view ( watch for the native Indian art work mural on the way up or down, The view on top is Spectacular. We took the bus, the taxis everywhere, watched the locals make Palm items on the street for Palm Sunday near the church. We fed the pigeons in the Zocolo (town center). Took photos and selfies along the Malacon (board walk ) We even took out a panga ( small boat) fishing, snorkeling and lunch on the beach to a remote area you can only get to by boat called "Yelapa" . Other days we went to a beach club, and taxi ride out to Mismaloya beach soooo beautiful. So So fun every day our biggest decision was where we were going to eat, as there are over 300 plus great restaurants in PV. One day we took the tour to Los Veranos Zip Lines and had a great safe experience! We decided to splurge and go out to the Barrio Bistro and had another chef prepare a fabulous 7 coarse meal, I think by now i have got to go on a diet but well worth it! This vacation could not have been better and we really enjoyed the Villa. I hope in some way we are sharing a great experience that you might be able to duplicate. The owners are very accommodating so for questions, they were very easy to work with. Casa Corona the best value in PV. DVL

Never seen or been anywhere like it

WOW, Dale! Case Corona is truly a jem, and luckily slightly hidden;-) Thank you for having us in your beautiful home! I just landed back at JFK (in NYC) and the first thing I need to do is share how amazing of a trip we just had! The location is ideal whether you're spending your day with Vallarta Adventures, hanging out in the Romantic District or want to walk around the beach/boardwalk; you won't find a more central (financially/touristically ideal) location. Once inside; the home is at times even more breathtaking than many places of the jaw dropping spectacles within Vallarta itself! Though we were active everyday, there was always the excitement of when we would get back home to swim, cook, play cornhole, or relax on the roof just to name a few of the MILLION things I love about Casa Corona. Dale created a paradise that neither me nor my group were anywhere near ready to leave haha but I guess such are the disappointments of life. On a side note.. we had a medical situation in the middle of the night and the local doctor and neighbors were quick to assist (heard loud noises and came to check on us, applied simple aid, called ambulance, calmed us down) as well as being extremely personable the entire trip. There were concerns from some of the ladies about our safety because we were staying off of the resorts but I can tell you that all of us felt extremely safe/protected the entire time and in our only time of need, we were awestruck by the locals concern and speed in helping to ameliorate our situation :-) Bring you kids! bring your teenagers! bring your friends (we were a group of 27-34 yr olds)! bring your parents! with CasaCorona as a jump off point; we found there to be FAR more fun to be had than time to do it in; thanks again Dale and the local all star team of Emma, Linda, and Carlos! we surely plan on returning :-) Suggestions: 1. take the Taco Tour with Alex - the history and local insight is only matched by the quality of the tacos! wear walking shoes though, this is not for the elderly or picky eaters 2. Go to the Playa de los Muertos - bring Bocce Ball (provided at house), the locals love it and is a great way to meet both locals and foreigners on the beach! I would also recommend the "dangerous" version of the banana boat, make sure to tell him that you want to get bucked a bit ;-) 3. 2X1 drink specials are everywhere - stop by Vacitas or Senor Frogs by the house to grab a daytime margarita to go, they're huge!

Love this Villa and plan to only go back to this same Villa in PV. Great location. Walking distance to anywhere you want to go. Staff were also excellent and responded promptly to any questions or requests we had. Chef, Jonathan, also comes highly recommended.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home

The pool is awesome, staff were great, rooms are air conditioned, wifi worked well enough to take calls for work. Only downside is ants and mosquitoes in the 'living' room because the space is open to the outside, but worth it for the vibe

Perfect for pre-wedding relaxation

This was hands down the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in. It was the perfect property for my group of 8 to relax in and it was in the perfect location to explore the city. Had I found this villa before booking my wedding venue, I would have planned to host it here! You can’t find a better value!

Puerto Vallarta Gem

We had the most fantastic weekend staying at Casa Corona. The house was beautifully furnished and exactly as lovely as in the pictures. We spent so much time enjoying the space and the pool and the great room. The view from the roof was spectacular and perfect for our larger group. We highly recommend that you book the private chef services as the food was amazing and such a fun experience to customize everything for us. We also felt so taken care of all weekend and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Vacation!

We stayed at Casa Corona from May 28th to June 4 (2022). The house and staff were EXACTLY as advertised and previously reviewed....simply perfect! We were a group of 9 who came to celebrate a 60th birthday and were all so amazed at how beautiful the house and gardens were. The ladies who came to clean every other day were so kind and friendly and did a fantastic job. Carlos, the grounds keeper and maintenance guy was super helpful and also very friendly. Honestly, the only issues we had while there were: walking the hill to the house from downtown; and one member of the group getting food poisoning. The information left for guests really came in handy when needing a doctor. Not sure what made her sick but think it might have been from the Oyster Bar...I know, we should not have eaten the raw oysters, live and learn I guess. If you are going to use Uber to get around I would advise that you request a ride about 30 minutes prior to you wanting to leave the house. There was quite a bit a traffic and it took them longer to get to the house than expected. Were were unable to book an Uber in advance so had to get our timing down. Taxis are everywhere downtown and easy to get if you don't want to make that walk back up the hill to the house. The kitchen was well stocked with every item anyone could need for cooking. I would highly recommend using Chef Jonathan for at least one meal....oh wow, he and Maria are amazing and the food absolutely delicious. They did our birthday dinner on the rooftop and it was FABULOUS! My advise to anyone wanting to stay at Casa Corona....just book it! you will not be disappointed.

Best Place I’ve Ever Stayed!!!

This property is absolutely stunning. When you walk in, the space is a lush green paradise, and the decor is traditional Mexican style, done very well. There are no bad bedrooms - 6 gorgeous rooms with king beds and ensuites. There were robes in every room, extra amenities such as Q-tips, shampoo, conditioner, games, floaties, etc. And it was such a bonus to have cleaners come throughout the stay. The location is extremely close to anything you'd want in PV, but a few blocks back from the main road so it's relatively quiet. We were put in contact with the property manger who met us at the house upon arrival. She was kind and helpful, and available to contact any time. The view is way nicer than it looks online - from the whole main floor as well as the rooftop patio, you can see the ocean quite well. The ONLY tiny downside is that the curtains are thin and white and let light in. I recommend bringing an eye mask. I can't rave about this place enough! It will be hard to ever stay anywhere else. We were blown away the entire week.

Idyllic refuge in the heart of PV

Casa Corona was the perfect fit for our group of 10. The property is as beautiful as pictured, if not better in real life. Everything was clean and very well maintained. All amenities were exactly as advertised and of excellent quality. Location simply cannot be beat for a villa of this size and charm. Everything in the Zona Romantica is within easy walking distance. Communication with host was very clear and reliable. Emma, the property manager was readily available to arrange anything we needed. We took advantage of Chef Jonathan’s services for breakfast each day of our stay. I’ve hired chefs in PV before and nothing comes close to Jonathan’s quality, creativity and thoughtfulness. I only regret not having the time to arrange for a dinner with Chef Jonathan. Over all, this was an excellent stay at a property that will not disappoint.

Hidden Oasis in Downtown PV

If you are considering booking this property, stop what you are doing and immediately book it without hesitation! The location and amenities just can't be beat! We just returned from the most magical time at Casa Corona. There were 12 people in our group celebrating my husband's 50th birthday and the entire staff went above and beyond to make this such a special time for us. Everything was perfection - from initial booking with the owner, to our final departure. A very special thank you to Emma for all of the help with pre-planning airport transfers, grocery shopping and excursions. She was an absolute joy to work with. She was responsive, helpful and very accommodating. She also helped us coordinate Chef Jonathan who prepared the most amazing meals, including a very special birthday dinner on our first night! The property is absolutely stunning and well-maintained. While it's in walking distance to the Malecon, and so many restaurants and attractions, we found ourselves wanting to stay and enjoy all the property has to offer. There's something for everyone at Casa Corona! I've stayed at many properties around the world and this has to be one of my favorites! Thank you to the owners and to the entire staff for making this an unforgettable experience!

Paradise on earth

Pictures can't do this amazing abode justice...it is simply magical and needs to be experienced! From helping us plan our stay (we were a group of 15!) to organizing day activities and having Chef Jonathan prep delicious meals, Emma and the team did an absolutely outstanding job. Staying at Casa Corona and the adjoining 2-bedroom apartment and studio allowed our group to stay together, yet feel like we had our own private spaces. There are so many nooks and crannies and the charm of the property is something else. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a private getaway but wants to remain close to the downtown core of Puerto Vallarta. A truly refreshing experience, thank you for allowing us to enjoy your unique property!!
