This is a wonderful place to visit. The host was very responsive and the staff was even better. Rogelio and Fide were wonderful and made such excellent food. We would come back without question.

Birthday Trip

Awesome trip to Casa Buena Vista. The villa staff, Fide, Rogelio, and Carmen were fantastic. Fide's cooking can't be beat. The host, Jose, communicated often and was easy to get ahold of even though there were no issues with our stay. The villa was the perfect size for the seven members of our group. The view from the villa is exceptional We were sad to leave and hope to come back again some day.

Family Trip

Went to Mismaloya for a family wedding. The Villa was absolutely fabulous. The staff was friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. We loved the view, the location, the rooms and the swimming area. Great vacation location.

One of a kind Vacation

My family and I just returned from an amazing stay here! We cannot say enough good things about our entire trip. We were are a family of 8 adult couples (two in their 60s/70s) and two young children. Everyone had a comfortable private room with king sized bed, bathroom and veiw of the ocean. We had our two young kids with us, and comfortably fit in a room all together with a pack n play for our baby and pull out bed for our young toddler. The highlight for everyone was the service and company Fide and Rogelio provided. They are warm, loving people and Fide cooked the most outstanding meals. We love to eat, and had an endless supply of delicious tacos, salsas, fresh fish and meat. Fide cooked a very special traditional meal for my birthday, that was over the top and beautiful. The location of the property is a 10 minutue walk down a hill to the beach. If you dont want to, or are unable to walk, Rogelio will drive you. The veiw from the property is stunning, but be mindful there are a few stairs that need to be taken to get to and from the rooms and anywhere on the property. But once you become familiar with the layout, they are easy to navigate. Jose was an excellent host, and communication was timely, polite and efficient. Anything we needed, he provided. Would highly recommended as a spot for your next vacation!

A very spoiling vacation

Fido spoiled us so much. She is an excellent cook and hostess. Rogalio was always willing to take us anywhere we wanted to go and was such a great host as well. We would recommend this property to anyone. It was FABULOUS! Thank you so much!

Wonderful!

Casa Buenavista was wonderful! Fide is an amazing chef and Carmen and Rogelio were great and made our stay fantastic. Everyone was so sweet to our kiddos and Jose was very responsive and communicative. Very easy and an enjoyable trip. The views will take your breath away! Would stay here again!

Amazing home, views, and staff

10 of us stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The home was absolutely beautiful and big enough to feel like we had our own space. The views from the home are unreal. We also can’t say enough great things about the staff. The food at the house was amazing, and the staff really made the trip easy for us.

Such a wonderful place!

This is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. The house is well appointed and spacious. The pictures online really don’t capture the beauty that is seen as soon as you walk out on the upstairs patio. Wow, it’s breathtaking! The staff (Fide, Rogelio and Carmen) are 10+. They went out their way to accommodate our group of 9. The food prepared for each meal was delicious and they made a homemade cake to help us celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend staying here!

Great Spot for a Relaxing Vacation

Dealing with our host, Jose, was a breeze. He promptly responded to each pre-trip email with useful information and then checked in with us upon arrival. The staff at the house was awesome - we had all of our meals at the house as Fide kept us well fed (it will take a few weeks to shed the pounds we gained) and Rogelio was attentive to anything that needed fixing. The area around the pools is wonderful and allowed us to spread out and enjoy sun or shade. Casa Buenavista is highly recommended.

Beautiful Mismaloya Vacation Home

We booked this property for a family vacation with our adult children, their spouses and three grandchildren ages 4-7. The home is exactly as pictured and provided beautiful and relaxing spaces for us all to enjoy. The ocean views from this home are outstanding! The staff is friendly and efficient. Fide provided healthy and delicious meals when we asked and Rogelio was always ready to provide transportation to and from the beach or Puerta Vallarta. A wonderful experience for all of us!

Magic in Mismaloya!

What an amazing stay! Jose was a wonderful host, the on-site staff (Fide and Rogelio) were absolutely superb for cooking, cleaning, and driving us around the area. Everything was included and taken care of for us (we just paid for gas and groceries). The bedroom windows didn't have blinds on them so we wore sleeping masks but not a huge trade-off when you get to wake up and look at the beautiful ocean every morning. Truly an incredible experience and stay for myself, my wife, my two young boys, and my parents. We hope to be back!

Best vacation

This was a couples trip with the girls i travel with regularly. We wanted someplace that we didn't have to worry about food or transportation and this more than fit the bill. The house is beautiful, the chef and driver are wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be back!

Lovely Weeklong Stay

Beautiful home and great location. We went to the beach, to PV, to the local town and zoo, and for a boat day. The rest of the time we swam in the pools and were spoiled by Fide and her cooking. Would recommend! The entire staff was lovely, and Fide in particular is a gem and phenomenal cook.

My 60th Birthday Celebration

Oh my gosh! What a great time we had celebrating my 60th birthday at this beautiful villa! From the minute we walked in and were greeted by Fede and Rojilio, we knew we were in for a treat. There were four couples, each couple had their own private bedroom with a king size bed, (which was very comfortable) with a beautiful view and their own bathroom. We all gathered at the long table of eight on the veranda for our delicious meals, cocktails and fun conversation. The food prepared by Fede was so fresh and delicious, she was so kind to prepare other dishes for a couple of people who didn’t like certain things. Our days were spent in the pool under the umbrellas, listening to our favorite tunes, laughing and dancing. Rogillio drove us to a restaurant one evening and down to the beach, this was so nice not to have to get taxis. We also had two massage therapists come in and do couples massages one day, which was so relaxing. Jose, the host, was in contact several times before, during and after to answer any questions and make sure things were going smoothly. We all can’t say enough about this wonderful experience! We would definitely come back!

Unbelievably Amazing!

We kinda hate to leave a GREAT review as other people will find out the secret! BUT - if you have landed on this property - you just need to book! This house was absolutely the best VRBO home we have ever stayed at. We were 6 adults (2 parents with 2 grown children and their spouses). First - the staff is just the sweetest and most accommodating people ever. Rogelio, Fide and Came (sp?) go above and beyond each day to meet your every need. Fide needs to be on a cooking show because everything she put in front of us was simply the best cooking we have ever had. Rogelio was so sweet to drive us wherever we wanted to go. They also kept an immaculate home. We had the most fun and relaxing vacation ever. And Captain Ralph hooked us up with Jack for a great day trip through the area seeing waterfalls and snorkeling and learning the area and the culture. They were both amazing also! Relaxing by the pool, seeing the sunsets, enjoying great company and eating such great food - we were blessed beyond measure by this home and staff. The staff will forever be in our hearts. And the owner was so sweet to answer my many, many questions before the trip! We are already planning a return trip!

Long weekend wonder

We had a wonderful time at the house! Jose was fabulous to work with from start to finish. The house is great with nice rooms, beautiful view, and awesome pool/patio. I can't say enough about the wonderful food and hospitality!! Such a treat!!

60th Birthday getaway

Loved Mismaloya and the awesome staff and this beautiful home. Lots of enjoyment! Location was great and having the car a real plus! Felt so safe and happy here. The previous reviews are very accurate. The only suggestion I have for improvement is there are either broken inoperable roller shades, actually only 2 in the Primary room, that have been glued and are falling apart or NO window coverings at all in the other rooms. We had a failing Air Conditioner that they had replaced or fixed quickly and a couple normal maintenance items that were handled immediately. We were very impressed as they were very nice and responsive. Overall a 10.

Beautiful, European-feel home/neighborhood

Beautiful flower pots everywhere, gorgeous view, amazing sunsets, comfortable beds, perfect layout for our group! The chef was kind and talented (DELICIOUS!), and the caretaker was very helpful. Unfortunately for our 2-day stay, the electricity was out for 8 hours, and both the chef and caretaker were off for this day (we were not informed of this ahead of time) and were not answering calls or texts. Also, the caretaker's truck was broken down so he was unable to help drive us. However, I was able to contact the owner, who was in Texas. He kindly offered to pay for any local taxi we would need! This was extremely thoughtful and generous of him. It should be noted that the 10 minute walk from the house to the local beach is quite steep and cobblestoned, and is difficult for some elderly or injured people. All in all, the house and view are beautiful, and the 2 meals the chef cooked were outstanding. However, it should have been communicated that the chef and caretaker would not be available for one of the 2 days we were there, and that they don't speak much English.

Great house and beautiful view!

We were a group of 4 couples celebrating milestone birthdays! The house was beautiful, and the view was breathtaking. The staff was very accommodating, helped us with transportation, and made us a wonderful breakfast every morning. The location is great and walkable to the beach. We enjoyed taking water taxis to Yelapa!

Like most that visit this area, I fell in love with the exotic coastline, jungles, the city of Puerto Vallarta and local culture..

I invested in this property for personal use and eventually decided to share with others through rental when I was not enjoying my stays there.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I enjoy everything from relaxing around the pool, BBQ'ing fresh local fish to discovering the great local restaurants in the area. Many days we grab a local boat taxi at Mismaloya for days in the secluded villages of Las Animas and Yelapa as well as fishing the waters of the Bay.
