Beach Cottage for Barefoot

This was the perfect space to land for the Barefoot Festival! Close enough to walk but far enough to be away from the crowds. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Also it’s right across the street from the Acme. We would definitely stay again for a vacation.

Don’t hesitate to book this cottage! My family and I had such a wonderful vacation here, and we would absolutely stay again. It was the perfect size for the three of us—my husband, our 12-year-old son, and me.The backyard is absolutely beautiful in the evenings, especially when it’s all lit up, making it the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. The master bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved starting each morning with a cup of coffee in the front entryway, watching the neighborhood come to life. The smart TVs were a huge bonus since we could log into our own streaming accounts and pick up right where we left off with our favorite shows. The living room was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind, and we enjoyed several meals both inside the cottage and outside on the patio. One of the things we appreciated most was the thoughtful host, who generously allowed guests to use the beach chairs and wagon. They truly came in handy—especially after my husband’s beach chair broke halfway through our stay! Having those available saved us from having to buy a replacement. Before leaving, we even added a small children’s beach chair for future guests to enjoy. We hope another family gets as much use out of it as we did.Overall, this cottage felt like a home away from home. We made wonderful memories here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again in a heartbeat!

Wildwood weekend

I go down every year to attend the firefighter association event and with the timing of the event it provides a few days to escape to the shore when the weather is typically beautiful and still warm! The house was clean and comfortable, grill was perfect as we love to cook our own food. Walking distance wasn’t bad at all to the attractions and beach. Owners were great and very good with communication.very pleasant experience!

Perfect for a Small Family

We enjoyed our stay at Wildwood at the Coastal Cottage. The property was clean and well-maintained. The electric key combos for the doors made it easy to get in and out. The kitchen had a decent basic setup. We were across the street from the grocery and the drugstore so anything we forgot could be easily grabbed. I appreciated that we brought our own linens/bedding/pillows. My kiddo slept better with all her own things from home around her and was very comfortable in the bunk bed.

The cottage was clean and well kept. The furniture was beautiful, the mattresses all comfortable. You have to bring your linens, but that was a small requirement for the value and comfort you’re getting—-TRULY. The cottage is well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. The kitchen appliances are modern, beautiful stainless steel. Keurig and toaster available. There’s also a washer/dryer set. Great for families with little ones. The outdoor seating area was comfortable and very inviting after a long day at the beach or event. The host has a deck box out back with everything you need for the beach: chairs, toys, and a wagon. There’s a glass grill, but we didn’t get a chance to use it unfortunately, due to time constraints. The beach is about a 20min walk to the beach, not a long walk, the bay is only a 3-5min walk away. Acme, CVS, Walgreens a step away. So many local establishments (food, other) close by, so pack nothing but your clothes. The air conditioning is amazing and the cottage well lit with ample lighting and natural sunlight. My trip was initially for myself and my daughter, but she had to work. However I had a friend who was judging BBQ at the annual Wildwood BBQ competition and was I was still able to go and have fun with loved ones. On-site parking for 1 vehicle. The hosts are wonderful and offer quick responses; I feel the hosts are genuinely concerned with their guests having a pleasant time. I would book this property again.

Great Time at the Cottage!

My family just stayed at the shore cottage and had a wonderful time! We had 2 teens and a toddler, and all had space, and enjoyed the property. The house is super clean and had great amenities. The beach cart was so helpful to haul all of our stuff, plus the chairs provided by the property. The backyard setting is relaxing and we enjoyed grilling a few nights, and even a fire pit. The location is so convenient with Acme right across the street and great ice cream & mini golf a few blocks up (Duffers). We also loved the food at Mudhen Brewery (got it to go and it was ready so quickly and nicely packaged), which was just a short walk from the house. We lucked out and had great weather and got to experience everything the house and area had to offer. Jeana and her husband were great with communication throughout the whole process, and even before we booked! She answered so many questions in detail and provided many suggestions. Thanks again for a great stay and the thought and care you put into your property to make guests feel right at home!

Clean, comfortable and cozy cottage

This beach cottage is cute as a button an oh so clean and comfortable! Jeana was a dream to work with- so quick to respond to some last minute questions we had. This home is so well decorated, I want Jeana to come decorate my house! My husband and I enjoyed the outdoor space every night while our son hung out on the boardwalk. The beds were very comfortable, which is always a bonus. I loved relaxing in the front porch area with its beautiful natural light. The Acme right across the street was super convenient for picking up essentials. Despite the home being on a more commercial road, it was never a problem getting in or out of the driveway and road noise was not an issue at all!! The beach/boardwalk was about a half a mile away and fit our needs for our son’s baseball tournament. Jeana offered beach chairs and a cart, which we didn’t use, but it was a nice added touch! The bedrooms did get a little warm for sleeping with the doors shut, but Jeana mentions that in her instructions and suggests keeping bedroom doors open or ajar for better airflow. This was not at issue for us. You do need to bring all bedding with you and if you get chilly, make sure you bring an extra blanket for the couch. Overall a great stay and would certainly stay again!

We're a married couple from New Jersey who love spending time down the shore. It's been fun opening up our home to families as they get to enjoy all that Wildwood has to offer.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose to host in Wildwood because it's one of our favorite beach towns. There's always events going on, the beach and board walk are huge and the winter months you can still find something fun to do!

この宿泊施設の特徴

I think our property is unique because we took the time to give it a cosmetic makeup over. We also have a cozy backyard to unwind in.
