Two bedroom main house and one bed/bath Casita on private 2 acres exclusive use.

If you are looking for a private location for a quick getaway with your own pool and spa, this is it.

Book five nights and get an extra night free (some seasonal and holiday restrictions, please request in your reservation).

Shady patio, bar-be-cue island, and central heat and air conditioning with high speed internet. Internet TV and movies Roku or Apple TV and lots of room.

Palm Springs style mid century, tall windows, lots of view inside and outside. Modern granite and stainless steel kitchen.

This is not a shared property, when you rent, you are the only guests on two acres. Pets are welcome for flat fee ($25 each per stay), please let us know.

Enjoy the California King bed in the private Casita with its own bath. Main house has a master bedroom with a queen bed, second bedroom has a double and two twins - lots of space for everyone.

Two outdoor fire pits and views of the mountains (best to bring some wood).

Not in all of Borrego is there a place as yummy as this. Once here, you will quit your job, sell your house and beg the owner to rent you this home forever. It is a true desert oasis with ageless Palm trees, Mesquite, Palo Verde and desert shrubs on two acres of privacy-- real privacy because there is actually a wall around the entire property (pet friendly, too).

And the views are breathtaking of the Santa Rosas, the San Ysidros, Font's Point, sunrises and sunsets. It feels like your own private retreat, a mid-century modern estate that harkens back to the 50's when there was graceful living; dinner out by the pool or the lanai or gazebo; midnight dips in the pool, a few moments in the spa before turning in for the night. In the bustle of modern life you need this home for a week or a month or a season anytime during the year. You will love the silence.

It's a place where you can spread out to read a book or sit and look at your navel or nap. The master suite is even in a separate casita near the pool.

Spacious desert oasis

This was the perfect spot for our family Thanksgiving gathering. A very unique and private oasis in the desert with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The desert landscaping is amazing and my grandson did indeed count 43 palms on the grounds.

The owner was a pleasure to work with and responded quickly to texts.

The only downside weas the profusion of tiny bugs in the pools which apparently was happening all over Borrego when we were there. They don’t bite and didn’t bother me but were enough to keep two of our party out of the pool. I would not hesitate to come back again! It is really a perfect, comfortable and well equipped place to gather in Borrego.

Loved it, would stay again, hate to leave!

Comfortable, homey, and relaxing if dated. Felt like coming home to grandma’s. Feels happy. Ping pong, pool, patio, fire pit, lots of shade, fancy grill, nice TV. The patio is huge and the view is splendid. Loved reading a book out there Everything’s is clean & the beds are comfortable. Neighbor had a dog that was yippee sometimes. That was annoying. I didn’t find any bikes but they can be rented in town. We hate to leave & hope to come back again some day!

For those that want the basics

Our group of four wanted nothing more than a place to hang out in the desert sun, throw back a few beers and cool off in the pool. Specifically we did not want a frilly, expensive hang out. We got our wish. The property even had a resident Roadrunner who patrolled during the day inside the walled, private compound. Plenty of patio furniture to move around and get comfy. Pool was awesome. Conveniently close to town. AC worked fine. The casita needs a new mattress. We would go back.

An oasis in the desert

Stayed here for a couple of nights with my wife and three kids ranging from four to eight as well as our golden retriever. The property is completely fenced in, quite private and huge. The pool, spa, and bbq island have all been recently renovated and in great condition. It was very hot during our visit so we used the pool quite a bit. The interior of the home is clean and comfortable. We've stayed at many VRBO properties in the past and have never found one to be so well equipped with everything you may need. From the cooking gear to pool floats to even the most random things, this property has you covered. Only issue we had during our trip was the presence of ants in the kitchen and dining area. The owner clearly was aware of the situation and was attempting to deal with it as there were several ant traps in those specific areas. We avoided the dining area and enjoyed the rest of the house. Besides that hiccup, the property was highly enjoyable. BTW, If stargazing is your thing, Borrego Springs has world class dark skies for you to enjoy.

Private Home with Gorgeous Views of the Mountains!

My best friend and I enjoyed a weekend away from the busy city with bright lights. We spend practically every waking moment in the pool and on the patio. The days were hot so we floated in the pool to keep cool. In the evenings we barbequed on the outdoor grill and ate dinner outside on the patio. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the sparkling stars at night. It is a private home, completely fenced, with very comfortable furniture inside and outside. We slept well at night, and being two females alone we felt completely safe during the day and at night. We enjoyed our girls weekend away and it was worth the drive. We went into town and everyone was friendly and helpful at the restaurants and stores.

Great Place

We only stayed two nights, but it was a nice stay. Nice sunrise/sunset views. Everything was as advertised. Richard was quick to respond when we text. Definitely would like to stay again, this time longer.
