About Alexa Palmer
Tracy and her brother Chris discovered this wonderful, but neglected home in 2005. Though the home was showing its age of more than 100 years, the home's underlying grand and proud features were clearly evident. Drawing on Tracy’s passion for historic homes, her talents as a designer, and inspired by their late grandmother, the next several years were spent painstakingly bringing the house back to its stately origins, while making sure it was equipped with all of the present day conveniences. 'Our motto throughout the restoration was ‘quality takes time’, and we think its effects can be seen in the details throughout the home. Welcome to our home and the fantastic town of Walla Walla, Washington! '

We had a great time, the house was great. Kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. Would definitely rent again.
Perfect weekend getaway
We rented the James McCool house for a wine country weekend with 3 other couples. It was perfect. Comfortable for all. The hosts seemed to have anticipated all our needs. We will be back.
Great weekend with friends @ James McCool
We had a group of 5 couples stay at the James McCool house over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. Easy walk to the downtown tasting rooms and restaurants. Clean and well stocked.
Convenient spot for a wine weekend
Despite being on a pretty busy intersection, this was the perfect launching pad for a weekend in Walla Walla. Big house with character, walking distance to town. Also generous parking lot!
Large Comfortable Home
I rented the house with 7 family members for a girls weekend. The house is very spacious with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was equipped with almost every appliance and gadget anyone would need. We enjoyed the large wrap around porch that provided lots of shade. I was a little disappointed that the back yard patio area wasn't larger. We did have drinks on the patio one evening and that was fine. The house is in a great location making it easy to walk back and forth to town for the farmers market and wine tasting. I would recommend this to any large group wanting to stay in Walla Walla.
Wonderful home in a great location. A historic home with unique antiques and many immenities. Perfect rental
