Beautiful Vacation Property

What a great vacation property. Everything was perfect for a getaway week. The weather, the house, the proximity to the center of town, close to Banner Elk and the cool weather. The deck was an amazing place to read a book and smoke a cigar. There are deer all over the area. Just a magnificent week of sheer relaxation and extremely comfortable accommodations.

Great weekend getaway!

We had a great time exploring the Beech Mountain area. Most attractions were less that 30 minutes away but there were plenty of trails and restaurants a lot closer. The house had plenty of room for our party of 4 and the hot tub was an added bonus!

Beat the heat in the mountains

This was a fun house for a summer getaway. Our kids enjoyed having their own space in the basement. We saw quite a few deer from the deck which was a nice treat. Our families tried out some of the local attractions and had a blast.

This house was everything my family needed and more! Plenty of space for a group of 6! The hot tub was an awesome amenity that my family enjoyed during our stay. The kitchen included everything we needed to make food for the weekend.

Lovely home!

We had a wonderful stay here! The deck was gorgeous and the house was very clean and tidy. My kids (1 and 5) had a lot of fun! Just one gripe: the listing states “accessible shower” or something similar and while there are two walk in showers, the house is a split level and there is absolutely no way to get to any of the bathrooms or bedrooms without navigating stairs so this is not a good option for someone who cannot navigate stairs (despite there being a photo of a ramp to get into the front door). My mother who was suppose to stay with us had to find other accommodations.

Disappointed!

I rented this home for the reason being it had a hot tub! I could have got something cheaper. Arrived on Tbursday. Hot tub not working. Called that evening, 2 times Friday, Saturday. No hot tub! I was given small compensation but did not take the place of the hot tub. Very few places to sit comfortably outside. No cushions on wooden seats. I have stayed at many VRBO homes. This was not a value at all.

Our Christmas escape

We arrived and were extremely happy with the choice of this home ! Had a party of 8 with 6 kids ranging from 11-17 and this home for everyone comfortably and some !! Plenty of board games for the kids to stay busy, plenty of tv for everyone to watch their own shows and the layout of 3 floors was awesome !!! Top of the mountain almost with awesome views !! Hot tub was definitely a big hit with the cooler weather as well. Literally everything you need is already here just bring yourself and clothes ! Only downfall I noticed was the beds were not the best ! Mattress were a little too hard but definitely didn’t keep us from resting !! If coming to visit the ski resort this is an amazing location ! Literally 5 mins from the entrance !! We will definitely be back !!
