This cottage is very clean and the host Max is very helpful and responds to messages quickly We did some hiking nearby that had been recommended in the welcoming book and they were perfect Highly recommended this home if you are looking to get away

Our family loved our stay at The Barn and can't wait to return!! It was very clean and very well-stocked, my two little boys had tons of space inside and outside to run around and play, they thought the loft was the coolest thing ever, and they loved hiking around the property and feeding the fish in the pond. The fenced in yard was great for our pup as well. The location is perfect for some of the best hiking spots.

We had the best time! The barn is beautiful and stocked with everything needed for a fun weekend away! We had five kiddos with it and they had a blast exploring outside.

Perfect getaway!

The 5 of us our dog had a great, very last minute trip to The Barn. We booked it the night before we came and have zero regrets. It was a perfect spot for us and our city dog is going to be so sad back home. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous property!

We all had an absolutely brilliant time from the minute we got there until we left. It's going to be our annual family holiday spot. Max couldn't have been a better host !! Helpful, outstanding and timely communication ! Honestly, I wasn't even unpacked when we got home and we were planning for next year. It was absolutely perfect. . . A 10/10 !!

Delightfully Seclusion at Its Best: A Barn in the Heart of the Woods

We should have stayed longer! I truly underestimated all there would be to do - from the on-property hiking trail, feeding the fish at the pond, enjoying the hot tub and soaking up all the family-time in the MOST comfortable couches of all time... I'm ready to book our next stay AND bring another family along (there's that much room!). We were so comfortable, had everything we needed (and more) and enjoyed the serene nature and time spent together. Thank you!

Beautiful setting in a quiet, remote hollow surrounded by nature. We were looking for a spot away from the everyday noisy norm. The Barn is absolutely perfect. It is so quiet there you could hear the acorns dropping out of the trees. Every day we were treated with nature’s blessings of squirrels, birds, wild turkey and deer who came to drink from the pond. Minutes away from the conveniences of Logan and all the Hocking Hills attractions. The Barn has a perfect layout with all bedrooms in the lower level and the kitchen, dining area and living room upstairs. The fenced in yard, for those traveling with their best friends, is directly outside the entry way & is a reasonable size for any dog. (Very small pups might be able to squeeze under the bottom where the fence doesn’t meet the ground.). The property is well maintained and the Barn itself was very clean, well stocked with essentials and with great attention to detail right down to having dark hand towels specific for your use when washing the makeup from your face! Great kitchen appliances and a large gas grill. Beds are super comfy. They even have a private walking path on the property for your use and for folks renting one of the other cabins that they offer. We will definitely be returning for another stay and highly recommend The Barn for a very remote, quiet & nature filled getaway.

We rented two cabins for a weekend family get together and both cabins were spotless, well stocked and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that the owners put a lot of thought into making their guests feel right at home. Communication was great! We had an amazing time making memories, relaxing and enjoying all the amenities the property has to offer. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay! We hope to be able to visit again sometime soon!
