Beth was a great host. Tons of space and lots of beds, and very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked, clean bedding, and nice fluffy towels. We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the babbling brook. It was catch up time with my girlfriends and we mostly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this home. We had a campfire on our last night and had wonderful memories to take home. Very clean and private and it met our needs. Thank you so much.

Excellent location for the three ski resorts nearby, all within 30 minutes or so. The house worked well for four adults and two children. Host was very welcoming and accommodating. Kitchen is well stocked, and the layout was nice.

Great family friendly house

Loved staying at wheel house! Plenty of room for everyone and we got almost a foot of snow and still close enough to travel to seven springs!

Wonderful Christmas cabin

We enjoyed our time in Bakersville, where we visited with family, walked trails at two nearby state parks, visited a Frank Lloyd Wright house, played games, watched movies, and cooked together.

Weekend Skiing get away

The property was perfect for my group of friends mountain get away. The cabin was cozy, the kitchen was well equipped and the location perfect. The cabin has plenty of room to spread out, play board games, shoot pool, and watch football by the fire.

Guys weekend trip

Very nice and clean property with accomdating hosts. Great atmosphere for people looking to stay in and watch tv, have a fire, or go hiking and have a nice place to come back to and relax. Location is great too with Koozer state park right down the road as well as markets and restaurants near by. Only 4 of us were there for our stay, but it can definitely sleep a larger group comfortably. I highly recommend this location.

Perfect Ski Trip Getaway

Enjoyed our stay here with two other families. Very close to Hidden Valley and convenient for our days at Seven Springs. The space was perfect for our range of ages from preschool to our high-school and college-aged kids and our adults. We loved having different spaces to lounge in but a centralized dining area that everyone can come together at for breakfasts and dinners. Will try to return next year and make this trip annual!
