About this property

Comfy Corner/Pets allowed

We lived in this home until the end of 2022. It is a very well maintained older home that sits on a large corner lot and sits on one of the last cobblestone streets in town. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a huge living room and kitchen with a dining room, laundry room for guests to use and there is some detergent and dryer sheets provided. There is a huge back yard with nice grass for kids or pets to play. There is a small concrete patio with a patio table and a grill; in the summer months we have a shade cover over it with lights to make it a bit more festive. The house is very spread out so no one will feel crowded at all. There is also a 2 car garage that you are welcome to use. Front door as well as the garage are both coded so no keys or openers to keep up with.
It is 2 blocks from the town square where most of the popular restaurants and shops are located; as well as fair on the square over the 4th of July and June Jams every Thursday night in June.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Palo Duro Canyon

We booked this to stay as a family to hike the canyon. Place was really clean, well furnished (cooking utensils, washer, etc.), and huge backyard for the dogs. Bonus was huge garage to fit my truck to stay inside from the insane winds we had. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Canyon house

Great house! Very clean and spacious. Has a nice backyard. We didn’t use the garage, but it was nice that it was available to us. I appreciated the hand soap and makeup remover towelettes made available in the bathrooms. Everything was comfortable: the furniture, beds, and house temperature. The owner was great! I would definitely stay here again!

Great location

Perfect for visiting family with their dogs. They had been traveling and dogs were on leash. We sat outside on covered patio while the pups enjoyed freedom in the fenced yard.

Canyon Wedding

The house and grounds are huge! Very clean, easy check in and out. Big enough for my family of 8 with extra room. Rooms are exactly like pics on VRBO. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect base of operations

I come to Canyon several times a year, mostly for mountain biking in the canyon. Stacy’s house was perfect, from the location that’s convenient to stores and restaurants to the garage to store my bike when I’m not riding. Trail pup Edison and I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

Wonderful location and perfect for families

The location is literally within walking distance to downtown Canyon. Myself, 3 teenagers and our dog stayed for our hiking trip to Palo Duro. The pictures of the house don’t do the coziness justice. The very large yard was perfect for our dog and the beds were very comfortable. Having the washer and dryer was a huge plus for dirty hiking clothes. Will be back for our annual trip again next year. Thanks again!

Perfect for pet dog!

We picked this listing because we needed a pet friendly place for our dog. It was absolutely perfect and it smelled sooo good! Nice fenced in back yard. The place is huge! Most of the time the kids share a room but they each got their own space. Kitchen was big with all the kitchen gadgets we needed. Enjoyed supper at the dining room table. Had a laundry room which came in handy. Big garage. We will definitely stay here again if ever in Canyon.

Relaxing Residence in Canyon

We stayed at this for a couple of nights while exploring Canyon and the canyon. This home is very well maintained and much larger than the photos depict. It is well equipped with a giant master closet and plenty of hangars. Our four-legged children loved the spacious back yard and the ability to park under cover in 110° temps was a bonus. Stacy made sure we were comfortable and was quick to respond to texts. The location is a couple of blocks from several eateries. We are already discussing another visit in the fall.

The house appears old in the pictures, and it is, but don't let that discourage you. It's very accommodating and the location was a quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host was easy. The only reason for four stars was the internet. We couldn't stream anything without using our own hot spot.
