Great little getaway retreat

Great weekend getaway for our family over Thanksgiving. Took time to disconnect, enjoy nature and was able to prep a full Thanksgiving dinner for the kids.

This cabin is perfect, I cannot recommend it enough. It is the perfect romantic getaway, especially during the fall season. Walking around the area was magical. There is a coffee maker, which was great for making a hot cup of coffee and sitting out on the deck. Speaking of the deck, the view of the night sky is breathtaking from the back deck. You can see the milky way core with your own eyes! I didn't have any service while I was at the cabin but honestly that made the experience even better, I got to truly disconnect and focus on nature and reading. You can walk up to the top of the hill to get service, or at least when I did texts would start popping up. (AT&T)

Good communication with the host. Warm and cozy from the cold in November. Perfect for us with our dog. She loved all the open space to play ball.

Wonderful River Stay

Our family had a wonderful time getting away from it all at the cabin. The beach area was perfect for our little children and our older two loved getting out on kayaks and fishing. The location is so tranquil! We also enjoyed small excursions to Berkeley Sprinds and the Paw Paw Tunnel.

Weekend with Honey

We stayed for five days at the cabin. We took our dog. The location was amazing! It was laid-back, quiet, filled with starry nights and bonfires. Highly recommended!

This was a great place to stay with our daughters. The host doesn't mention in the listing that there are kayaks (like 5?!) And life vests, several tubes to float down the river, 2 cornhole game sets, light up badminton, a charcoal grill, tons of fishing equipment, s'mores supplies, some staples like eggs and bottled water... We had a great time at the river. Everyone caught a fish, and our 9 and 3 year old girls had a blast in the kayaks, tubes and just walking up the river.
