Cozy Pond Slider Studio Cabin in Rockbridge, Ohio – Ideal Romantic Getaway

One of three cabins at Terrapin Hideaway, this luxurious studio retreat sleeps two adults and sits right on the edge of the pond. Enjoy your own private dock, a hot tub, firepit, and—during the warmer months—an outdoor shower.

Fully Equipped Kitchenette: Prepare meals with ease using the stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine.

Comfortable Sleeping Arrangements: Enjoy restful nights on a plush bed designed for your comfort.

Entertainment and Connectivity: Stay connected with high-speed wireless internet and unwind with cable TV.

Private Bathroom: The cabin features a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, and towels. Please note that the Pond Slider Studio Cabin does not have a washing machine, clothes dryer, or laundry room.

It's a beautiful area and so peaceful. It's definitely a space you rent if you're the type that likes to relax outside. The inside of the cabin is cute. Small, basic, and very clean. Outside is gorgeous! My husband was very successful catching fish while I fed the koi from the dock (I even gave them names). I'd recommend picking up firewood for the pit, which we unfortunately didn't do, but the uninterrupted view of the stars was better than any fire. It's one of the few places in the area that actually has decent cell service, if needed

Great Stay

Our stay was lovely. Eveything about the cabin is inviting. It was very clean and cozy. Had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. My husband and i were both sad to leave and we plan to saty again.

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at the Terrapin Hideaway Pond Slider. The perfect place to unwind in a private and tranquil setting listening to the surrounding babbling brook and waterfall. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, feeding the fish, soaking in the hot tub, and relaxing by the fire. We will definitely return for another getaway.

So glad we picked this place!

We stayed in the Pond Slider Studio Cabin and it was just perfect! The landscape and pond were beautiful and so relaxing. We loved sitting outside doing fires and feeding the fish. I recommend staying here.

Picture perfect getaway

Cabin was just as advertised, clean, well kept, updated and easy to access. Our hosts made everything perfect and communicated with us throughout our stay. Highly recommend and we may return someday.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time during our stay. The little cabin has absolutely everything you need and feels incredibly luxurious. The property is absolutely stunning as well. I would highly recommend to anyone and we would definitely go back ourselves!

Wonderful views and great property

So serene

This was one of the best stays we have had in Hocking Hills. The landscaping was amazing. The cabin itself was breathtaking. They thought of every individual personal touch. From the aromatherapy to the koi fish food. Everything you need is on site. I would absolutely stay here again.
