With spectacular views of three mountain ranges in the Shields River Valley, the cabin is a perfect place to get away from it all. Perfect for a writer's retreat, family getaway, or use as a home base to explore Montana. It's about a 20 mile drive to local skiing at Bridger Bowl, and only two miles to the small town of Clyde Park which has a country market, 2 bars, post office, hardware store, and gas station. Close to excellent fishing in the Shields or Yellowstone Rivers, and about an hour drive to Yellowstone National Park. The larger town of Livingston which has many art galleries, entertainment, fine dining, and everything else you might need is 18 miles away. We are also about an hour drive to the closest airport and 2 hours to Billings.
Conveniently located off Hwy 89 on the route between Yellowstone and Glacier Parks, the cabin is in the heart of ranch country on a gravel road, perfect for those morning walks. At night you might hear owls hooting, elk bugling and coyotes yapping, while you look up at the star filled sky!
The cabin is quaintly decorated with country charm throughout. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has a full size bed. In the living area there is a full size fouldout futon and a lazyboy chair. We can also accommodate with a Graco Pack and Play for baby. We can provide 2 mountain bikes for riding the local roads if you are interested, just let us know!
There are only 2 neighbors nearby, which is ourselves and one other house.

Our family of four stayed for 5 nights and had a great experience! Size and location was ideal for us and very easy to find. Hosts were extremely nice and we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this cabin!
We were fishing two days near Livingston with two bedrooms ( we snore). This place was far better than we expected and we plan to book it again this fall!

Very cute, perfect size, very clean. Easy check-in. There was a fan in the bedroom Loved the location. I feel like I need to go back to Montana just so I can stay here again. Highly recommended.
We absolutely loved staying here for Christmas and New Years. Linda was an absolute sweetheart, even bringing over cookies she had made! We saw snow, plenty of wildlife, and loved bonding with and feeding her horses. We can’t wait to stay again soon!
Wonderful setting not too far from Yellowstone National Park. Hosts are extremely friendly and live next door. Lots of local suggestions.
The cabin was awesome - super comfortable, very well stocked with anything you could possibly need and such a beautiful location.
We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The accommodation was perfect and the location excellent. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning and evening. A totally relaxing environment!
