180 degree view of the golf course from the Living room. Beautifully furnished.
Other things to note There is a king bed in master bedroom , a queen bed in second bedroom, a futon full size which is ok for two people , a day bed which is good for kids and one queen size sofa bed in living room

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Communication with the host was very prompt. The property was bright and open. Everything we needed was here. We especially liked the location to watch golfers and walk to restaurants. The proximity to Carlsbad airport was so convenient. We were here for a wedding in Valley Center, so having stores nearby was a plus. Travel to the wedding was easy. We also enjoyed the Carlsbad Beach, and a day trip to tour the USS Midway in San Diego.

This house had a great, open floor plan with plenty of great space to enjoy. It was very clean and well maintained. Great neighborhood with some really good restaurants. Great area to walk around and relax. And did take too long to get to area attractions. The host was accommodating and very easy to work with.

Beautiful Home on Golf Course

Perfect home right on a beautiful golf course. Very comfortable beds. Had everything we needed. Felt very private. House is so quiet. There are fans in the garage to use to move air for those who want more air flow. Loved being able to take my dog with me too. Wonderful stay!

My wife and I stayed for the month of July to escape the heat from our home in the Phoenix area. The location was great for golfing just steps from the clubhouse, driving range and putting greens overlooking the 9th hole green. The golf course was challening with excellent greens. We ate at Brinkman's next to the clubhouse multiple times and the food was excellent. We also ate at the Lakehouse restaurant bar a couple of times which was good and a nice walk. Carlsbad beach in the Carlsbad Village area is about a 20 minute drive and one or our favorite areas in Carlsbad. There are lots of shopping and restaurants in the surrounding area. The property itself was a nice mid-century house but as expected for an older homes has some quirks in the floorplan like the entry from the garage into the secondary bedroom which does not have any windows. The 3rd bedroom is really more of a den with doors connecting it to the secondary bedroom. It lacks ac vents and its futon would work best for a couple using the secondary bedroom with small children. It is not ideal for 3 adult couples but worked for my wife and I and my 2 adult children and their partners who stayed with us for a few days at different times. The furniture was adequate but not the most comfortable and the patio furniture could use an upgrade. Kitchen was ok but was lacked some kitchen basics for cooking meals and could use a cabinet for a trash container. Fridge was great. Master and secondary bathrooms were nice.

Great Golf Getaway

This home was the perfect golf getaway. Located walking distance to The Links and a three minute drive to The Exec, it was perfect for us. The neighborhood was beautiful with restaurants within walking distance. The home was comfortable and clean and right on the golf course. Owner was quick to respond to questions and made everything easy. I would definitely come back!

Family Visit

The house is in a beautiful community. We walked to the Grille at the Golf Course. We enjoyed watching the golfers in the yard. It was great for us for we were able to walk to see our family. The house did not have a binder of any numbers or places of interest whether it’s restaurant’s or attractions, Now we know the area, but for those that do not. Also, there was nothing as far as how they like to close up the home when it is time to leave or anything to welcome guests upon arrival. I believe communication is key. Every VRBO Rental is different. The coffee maker’s lid was broken so we had to be careful when making coffee. The bed sheets were either old or poor quality and or both. I would purchase better sheets. Also, ones that do not hold in heat. Maybe provide fans for the rooms. Also, not sure if the master bedroom with tub sheets were cleaned. The sheets had a not so clean smell. We then went to the back master room. I apologize for a review like this but it needed to be said. This was a first for us and we utilize VRBO all the time. We did appreciate the space and the neighborhood!

The property was very clean and spacious for two couples although we did notice futon and an extra room seemed it would be a little tight for three couples. The air-conditioning did cool although the stat is located just below the return and would satisfy too quick to cool the living room and dining room area. Upon arrival, I noticed the AC was set at 69 but didn’t know why, but as mentioned above it required that low temperature to satisfy the entire space.Consider placing a fourth chair out facing the golf course outside as the two couples there didn’t have enough seating to all sit comfortably.The second bedroom was a bit claustrophobic as there’s no windows, but the skylight with the remote opening was a nice touch and provided plenty of light

The property was very spacious for the five of us. Had a few issues with using the pad to unlock the door but after a few tries it did open. We left a note about a few issues which included a drinking glass in the cabinet with a crack in it. We did not expect too many supplies, but we arrived late on the 11th and there was very little toilet paper left for us. The kitchen waste basket was way too small for trash. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths but could have used another dish towel. Location was good where we could sit out and watch the golfers.

The house is clean, bright and roomy. It worked well for us and we would rebook the home. I do question listing the third bedroom as a bedroom. It's an additional small room with a futon and attached to an even smaller room with a small possibly a message table as a bed. There are no windows in the 2nd or 3rd bedroom. The 3rd "bedroom" does have a skylight. Fans would be beneficial in these rooms for air circulation.
