Welcome to your favorite vacation home, Journey to the Sound! This home offers a spacious 3 Bed/3 Bath layout and sits directly on the beautiful Santa Rosa Sound. Dog friendly too with pet fee! (Must be under 20 lbs / 2 dog maximum)

The 1,616 square foot home sleeps 9 comfortably. This home boasts a private dock perfect for fishing, boating, swimming or simply watching the sunsets. Each level has a balcony to sit back, relax and watch the boats sail by.

On the first floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen that's perfect for preparing your meals in. The Living Room offers a comfortable sectional sofa with plenty of room for all to relax on. There is also a Bedroom with a comfy queen size bed and a Bathroom conveniently located directly across the hall. On the second floor you will find the Master Bedroom with a roomy queen size bed and En Suite bathroom. The third bedroom offers a queen bed and a fun 3-tiered bunk bed set.

With this home you will have the best of both worlds! Spend the day on the world-famous white sand beaches and dip your toes in the crystal-clear emerald waters, build a sand castle, go snorkeling or simply sun bathe while watching the sea life play! After your day in the sun, come back to your personal oasis and BBQ your catch of the day, then sit back on one of the balconies with a cold drink in your hand and start making plans to return to Journey to the Sound again!

NOTE: This home sits directly on the Santa Rosa Sound in Navarre, Florida. It is not on Navarre Beach but is located just a quarter mile to the Navarre Beach Bridge that provides access to the beautiful white sandy beach and emerald green waters of Navarre Beach.

‘A’ for location; ‘D’ for property condition

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location for this unit was outstanding. Close to everything. The condition of the property, inside & out, was not good. Very aged furniture, bedding, and the hot water was sporadic at best. The outside decks were in poor condition, as was the dock and all areas outside. No shower outside, just a hose that was leaking from both sides. The unit looks good from the outside, with a recent paint job, but that is about it. Wish I had a better review, but for the money this place was a bust. No shower in primary bedroom, just a bath, and hot water was hit or miss.

Great location

House is very clean and spacious. Pier out onto the sound was great. Loved the overall location. Yes there is some street noise, but it's so convenient it more than made up for it. Would stay here again!

Perfect Stay for the Fourth!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay here for the 4th of July! The location especially for the fireworks was wonderful! While the main highway was busy and a bit noisy, it was easy to get to Navarre Beach, Destin, and Pensacola because of its central location- without having to always be right in the middle of the tourist traffic. Even our Fur Baby loved it- although the walking space for him was limited. The home was very comfortable and clean. It was perfect for our group of 7. Some things to remember- the master does not have a shower, there are a lot of stairs- but it has the capability of being wheelchair accessible, and bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags 🙃 we would definitely stay again!

Sweet 16 birthday trip

This place was AMAZING! This was our daughters sweet 16 birthday gift. The location was everything so many amenities we literally only had to buy food everything we needed was there.The property was breathtaking. I almost cried because we didn't want to leave.

Amazing Stay

I did leave a note and a hefty tip for housekeepers. First time with whole family in beach house. Great experience. We will be back!!

Filthy and Paradise Beach Homes is the worst management company. VRBO didn't help and I lost money!

I rented this home for 7 days but only stayed 2 nights. I checked in at 5pm Sat. when PBH office was closing. There were many issues with smells/cleanliness (mildew in shower, bedbugs, mold in refrigerator and walls) towels from previous tenants left in the washer for me to launder. I cleaned for hours but the more I cleaned the more disgusting, I found it. Closets were locked, the drawers had hair, dirt, bugs, and dander. We kept our clothes in our suitcases. No shower in the master bedroom and I would never take a bath in that tub. We rented the house on the bay, so my son could play in the water and we could dock a boat. There was an "under construction" sign in the backyard, but this was not advertised on VRBO. There was deterioration of the exterior structure on stairs, deck, and bay area. There was no safe access to the water, as the stairs were rotted and crushed, with exposed rusted nails/stakes. My son fell off the pier and skinned his knees, badly. I sent an email to PBH the following day, at 11pm Sun. I checked out on Mon. at 9am, when they re-opened. Marla at PBH rolled her eyes over 10 times while I was explaining the conditions of the home and how my son was injured on the property. Even though I left the property 5 days early, PBH will not issue any partial refund, stating I waited too long to notify them of the problem. VRBO states they will offer no credit bc I checked out with PBH without notifying VRBO. I lost $4800 and neither company accepts fault.

Nice home, nice view of The sound... horrible road noise!!

The biggest negative... It is right on a major road so the traffic noise and sirens were nonstop, was not pleasant, if you want peace and quiet, this home is not for you!

Family Fourth Fun

The house was very clean and well stocked. Awesome location for Fourth of July fireworks! We didn’t have to fight crowds or traffic and had a perfect view of the fireworks from the Navarre pier!!
