Fantastic stay. Super clean. EXACTLY as described and pictured. About 18 min to Tanglewood. We used the kitchen for tacos one night and played boardgames at the dining room table.

Lovely place to stay! We came for 2 nights for a Tanglewood show with our doggo. There are 4 amazing bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with showers! Honestly, we only had 2 ppl and our dog so we had loads of space, but you could easily accommodate 10ppl as there is a pull out downstairs. Property has a high fence around it-but there are gaps so we used our doggo's e-collar as the main road is very close. Was cool to see that the lawn is mainly thyme!! Smelled so nice walking through it. Short-ish drive to many cute towns, hiking trails, and of course, Tanglewood.

The Barn was a perfect place for 4 long time friends to reconnect. Lots of space for us to spread out and talk the nights away. Clean with all of the necessary supplies for our meals and snacks. I had a problem with the keyless entry but once I was told to press "Yale" everything worked perfectly. Carol FJuly, 2026

The location is ideal for exploring the Berkshires and cute nearby communities. The interior of the home is updated and comfortable (I’m buying the duvet set for myself!) The yard is not fully fenced in as we were hoping to let our dogs off leash, but we found a great dog park nearby.

Tanglewood visit

Four college friends (Oswego class of ‘79!) stayed two nights for a reunion/concert. The venue was as advertised- we had plenty of room to spread out. The entire place was spotless Host was attentive/responsive. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful Holiday Home

We had our family Thanksgiving at this home and it was a great time. Enough space to cook a Thanksgiving meal, have a baking contest, play board games, and relax. The bedrooms were comfortable and everyone commented on how well they slept. More than enough bathrooms and showers with hot water for six people. Close to Great Barrington and Stockbridge for some small town vibes. Overall a great stay!

Great stay - affordable, nice place in a great location!

Ricky was a great host - quick and easy to answer all of our questions during our stay (including letting us know that there was a back-up internet available!). The place was very clean, much more spacious than the pictures let on, and nice decor and kitchen area! Really great option for our group of friends and little kids, affordable and convenient location in the Berkshires (we went to Tanglewood). Thanks again Ricky!

Well appointed home!

The barn was comfortable and so well designed and decorated. Very thoughtful furniture, sheets, games, etc. The location is right by a busy road and with the windows open the traffic was loud but they had a lot of fans in the house for the hot evenings. Beautiful spot, thanks for the stay!

Trendy Barn Experience

Our son is performing at Mac-Haydn this summer and we found this wonderfully, refurbished barn in nearby Austerlitz, in close proximity to the theatre. Perfect 4 King bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs and a very spacious and well appointed kitchen and living area downstairs. The linen sheets were absolutely luxurious! Property manager Ricky was extremely responsive to all of our requests and went above and beyond to ensure our comfortable stay.

In the country!!

Arrived at property late in the afternoon. Noticed the house was really close to a busy road. Was a little concerned since we had our dog with us. From the outside, the house looked small, but once we got inside, we were pleasantly surprised. It was very roomy & decorated very nicely. Was able to speak to the owner one day while we were eating dinner outside. He was very nice.

Hi, we're Ricky & Dennis! A married couple that spent the greater part of over 15 years in NYC, took a trip to Hudson in 2017 and fell in love with it! That led us on a journey to save up and purchase our first home in Hudson in 2019. We moved up here full-time in 2020, and eventually wanted more space, so we bought a second home in the country! We're ready to share our homes with you!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We love how close it is to so many attractions with easy access to a bunch of highways!

この宿泊施設の特徴

Who can say that they ever stayed in a renovated barn in Upstate NY?! Not very many people! We love how perfectly laid out the home is with ample room for time together or away. The Barn at Bald Mountain is adorned with 4 super comfortable bedrooms with memory foam Queen beds and 3 full bathrooms with standup showers -- all completely gut renovated!
