We are all about the outdoors. We are 10 minutes from Cherry Springs State Park and dark skies. Fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table are behind the cabin. Perfect for a couple or small family. Great place for bird watching and star gazing. Numerous hiking trails and state parks are nearby. The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon is 30 minutes away

Yellow Warbler getaway

We loved staying at Yellow Warbler! The porch was shady through the morning and we birdwatched right from there. Great sky view at night for stargazing. Our host was responsive to questions, A/C kept us cool through the hot spell. A great find!

Yellow Warbler Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Yellow Warbler Cabin. The property is private and well maintained. It is close to Cherry Springs State Park for stargazing and a short drive to hiking in the PA Grand Canyon. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Comfort, privacy, and located near many activities.

Short little get away with the stars!

The property was just perfect for what I needed. Communication with owner was spot on, even got to bring my pup. Previous occupants even left a little firewood so, I did the same. The view and privacy was exactly what I needed. Thank you for the stay! Completely recommend!

Quiet with lots of open sky

Came for the stars but Mother Nature did not cooperate. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Didn’t like the unpaved road it was on but other than that the location was perfect.

Trout Fishing/Biking Getaway

Finding the Cabin was easy. Google Maps lead me right to the property. The cabin is tucked away off Short Run Rd. and there was a very nice view of the landscape below. Door code worked and is a battery operated pin-pad. Inside was your typical cabin feel: all wooden walls, and everything listed was there. Power did go out first night due to storm, but hey, this isn't the Hilton, right? Took a trip into Galeton for groceries and came back with power on. Water pressure was nice and the bed was ok too. The only issue I had was under the sink. First, I noticed a strong odor only if you stuck your nose near it. I later found a couple of harmless guys on rodent control that seem to stick to staying under the sink. I left the owner a note explaining what I found and hearing about the reputation of the owners from a local fisherman I have no doubt it will be taken care of. Other than a little dust here, and there as well, it was awesome! I would definitely come back.
