Take advantage of the opportunity to stargaze all night long around the firepit and fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the desert. Explore the nearby Joshua Tree Forest and take in the breathtaking views of the Grand Wash Cliffs and the Grand Canyon Skywalk, which is only a short 30-minute drive away. Hiking opportunities abound in this little piece of paradise with Lake Mead a mere 10 minutes away. Bring a boat and/or your all-terrain vehicle to explore the Wild, Wild, West. Take advantage of the ample space available, with plenty of room for large groups or families. The property provides a variety of sleeping arrangements, including a king-size bed, two queen beds, and additional blow-up mattresses. The property is located on a well-maintained dirt road, with neighbors nearby but not too close. The town of Meadview offers a variety of amenities, including two restaurants, a cocktail lounge, and a convenience store. And for more extensive shopping, a Family Dollar store is just five minutes away. Guests can also take advantage of the vibrant local community, with weekend events and a Farmers Market adding to the charm of this quaint little town. This desert hideaway includes the following: 3 Bedrooms with King Size Bed in the Primary, Queen Beds (Cactus Bed is FIRM) in the Guest Bedrooms. The primary Bathroom has a separate tub & shower. A large enclosed breezeway makes a fabulous "Game Room" for the whole family with a large screen TV, poker/game table, books, and games galore. Coffee and Tea Bar - Pour yourself a "Cup of Ambition". Keurig and Mr. Coffee Maker with some coffee pods, tea, hot cocoa, and creamers available. Binge-watch Netflix or many other channels. Movie CDs are plentiful in a binder and available for your viewing. Host a Zoom Meeting from this getaway. Desk and computer with a printer for your use. Cook up a storm in this well-stocked kitchen with all the tools and cooking supplies you need. Groceries can be purchased at nearby stores or a 45-minute drive to Kingman for a full grocery shopping experience. Front Porch Living is a MUST at this home. Set your alarm for Sunset time and venture out to the front porch to watch the amazing colorful sunsets. "Smore" it up around this entertaining firepit area as you watch the stars at night and tell folktales. Sorry, but no animals are allowed.

Great stay!

We had a great time at 'Mona's' house. Exactly as described, extremely clean and comfy. It was a beautiful setting and close to some things on the west side...ie: hoover dam, meads lake, Joshua forest and the west rim of Grand canyon. Mona was very nice and extremely accommodating, answered my questions immediately. If we are ever in this area again, we would love to stay here.

Meadview property

The property was well kept and clean. We enjoyed the front porch, each morning and evening. The fireplace was a nice addition since it was raining and cold the first night.

Beautiful remote area

We really enjoyed our time at this VRBO. The people in the area seem very friendly. The house was really clean and had a lot of amenities. There isn’t a hot tub as stated on the house description and the skywalk pictured is 40 minutes away and $79 per person but worth it. We ran out of hot water for showers. Overall, a very relaxing stay.

Thank you for your review! I apologize there was an error I. The listing as we have never had a hot tub. Yes the skywalk is 30-40 minutes away but is well worth the drive. This is both a Vacay home for us and our family of 5. We have not experienced running out of hot water but sincerely appreciate the feedback. On our way there now so we will check this out. Thank you again for choosing our home.

Beautiful home under the stars

The host for this property is gracious, professional and reliable. The home is beautifully decorated as if ready to be photographed and put in a magazine. Everything you need to enjoy and destress, as you sit on the porch and look at a gorgeous view with peace and quiet and i do mean quiet, as in ahhhhhh. My family and I loved it and if we ever travel back to this area....this is where we will stay. Thank you to our host for sharing her lovely home.

The Views!!

I loved the location and the views! However, I was disappointed that the "4 twin beds" were air mattresses that were not able to inflate. There was no air pump to actually use the air mattresses. Therefore, my 10, 14, and 17 year old had to sleep on the couches.

Blinda, I apologize that you were unable to locate the air pump. I was not aware it was missing. Had I of known I could have asked the cleaners if they knew where it was or had them drop one off for you. Again, I do apologize for the inconvenience.

The Views are Breathtaking!

The host of this property was very easy to work with concerning any questions. We had no issues with the property and it was exactly as described. The views are breathtaking. Yes the location is a drive from Kingman but as with any location you are renting, it is a given that you bring your food but the home was fully supplied with all that was needed pertaining to the bathroom and kitchen. The serenity of this location is what was truly provided. If we ever vacation in this area again, this home is one that I will check out again!

Interesting Wset Canyon Property

Pros: quiet remote home with view as pictured in the listing. Quick access to Lake Mead. West Grand Canyon not far off. Interesting hikes nearby. Home was well appointed with everything a renter could ask for. Cons: Need to bring almost all the food you would want to cook. Two restaurants near by with pub fare. Limited grocery options unless you travel an hour south. Host is managing an odor. Background smoke smell masked by electric air fresheners.

Meadview is a very small community with only 3 eateries and 1 bar/lounge. Family Dollar is 5 minutes away and offers limited groceries. There is a mini-market 20 minutes from home and this also offers limited groceries. Nearest full grocery store is in Kingman, about 45 minutes away. Cause of smoke smell has been investigated and a new cleaning crew has been assigned as previous crew was the cause of the smoke smell. We have only started to rent this home to others and have owned the home for 5 years. We are non-smokers and have strict NO SMOKING RULES in place. Plenty of space outdoors for smokers!
