The space
Relax and enjoy the Texas ranch / lake style life with breathtaking views & easy beach access @ Lake Buchanan 0.3mi away. Our property boast 3 acres of prime Texas ranch land, allowing you to enjoy the grazing longhorn cattle and baby calves, cactus and the quintessential small Texas Ranch experience.
On top of our large black granite hill (hence the name Black Rock Ranch), sits our sprawling 3,000 sqft retreat providing amazing elevated views of Lake Buchanan from almost every area of the home. On the main house, we have 5 bedrooms (all with king sized memory foam mattresses) and 3.5 baths, with the master suite having views of the lake + a steam shower with dual shower heads and sitting bench for two. Enjoy the sprawling decks and views and also the outdoor Cabana with electrical & a large fan. The master and two other bedrooms have 2nd floor covered patios with fans for breath taking sunrise and sunset views of the hill country and lake.
Bring your beach gear (3mins away) to Black Rock Park ($5 adult access fee) and set up on the sandy beach area with kayak and paddle board rentals, BBQ grills, sand volleyball court! Park is open sunrise to sundown.
We have plenty of parking, and even a parking spot with a 240v electrical outlet for electric car charging or RV parking (please inquire about water availability for RV hookup).

1st Floor 2nd Master Suite w Kitchenette
This 500sq ft 1st floor accessible 2nd master suite with kitchenette is a great add-on for large groups, people with accessibility needs, or a 2nd family. Comfortably sleeping 4-5, it has a king bed, a couch, smart TV, small kitchen, full bath/shower, and separate side entrance with plenty of room for the queen premium high blow up mattress provided.
This suite is situated on the front left side of the property/main house, and has a shared wall with high security double deadbolt door to the 1st floor of the main house by the laundry room that is only able to be unlocked / opened with special access keys. The only shared space would be the parking area - even the WIFI is separate.
Eventually, likely in 2023, we plan to put a heated pool and/or spa in by the cabana!
This property is a great home base for exploring the Llano, Fredericksburg, Burnett, LBJ, Marble Falls area!

We have a smart lock on the doors and you will receive a code to access whenever you want without having to meet us for keys.
Other things to note
We are a small business, not a corporation. We ask that if you are expecting perfection, please book elsewhere. We also ask that if you cannot leave a positive review of the property, and provide *PRIVATE* constructive feedback outside of the review, then please also book elsewhere. Our new properties are always discounted for the first few months for brave & kind guests that don't mind a minor inconvenience or two. We will work very hard and quick to resolve any issues during your stay and "make it right", however, there may be little touches that we have not had time to get to yet or a few items we forgot to order (although we are SuperHost and have our system pretty well down at this point!)
*The road to the property is uneven country road, but I have no problem getting my car through it. We recommend turning onto The Rock Road directly across from Black Rock Park for the easier access road.*
We require a liability waiver signed by booking guest. We also have noise decibel readers to prevent large parties & outdoor noise disturbances.
We love for you to enjoy and celebrate, but we charge a $75 cleaning fee for confetti or glitter found on property.
We ask that you please clean up after your pets. We reserve the right to charge additional fees to cover any damage pets may leave and we charge a $15 poop fee (potentially more if there are multiple pets worth).
Please do not move any furniture. If you do, please move it back. We charge a $20 minimum furniture moving fee if we arrive and furniture is out of place.
We also have cattle next door and many wild animals may come through the property. Please exercise caution walking around & do not pet cattle on the property next door!
As we ramp up this property and complete our designer work, we may be switching out furniture or adding design elements to the home, but we guarantee it will be of similar quality to what is shown in photos or better.
