Great lakeside vacation spot

The property was amazing with great decks to relax on and enjoy the lake view. Fully set up with everything we could need. The owners were very communicative and available for questions. Had a great experience and would recommend this property in a heartbeat!

Wonderful!

The house is great. So much room for our large family. Everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. We put our young adult boys downstairs and our daughters took the little twin bedroom, which worked out perfectly. The decor is very nice, the house is so comfortable, the outside areas fantastic. The view is stunning. Our family loved using the kayaks and fishing off the boat dock. We will definitely book again!

Another amazing trip!

Another amazing getaway!

This is the second time we have stayed at this amazing Lake House, and we will keep coming back! The hosts are amazing and very responsive. Everything at the house is so easy and it is a such a relaxing getaway. Since the last time we went they added a really awesome dock that has kayaks and their views at sunset are breathtaking. The house is very cozy and there are a lot of different areas to hang outside. We can't wait to get back!

Perfect spot

We really enjoyed this home on the lake. Loved being able to dock the boat and enjoy all aspects of the lake and being outside. This property has so many features that our family enjoyed. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you again.

Perfect

This house was perfect for our plans. We booked this for my husband's birthday, and it was everything we had hoped for. Connie was great checking in with us to see if we needed anything. Our boys went fishing with their dad, catching catfish, and perch. Plenty of space for everyone. Most definitely plan to book again in the future.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay! House was very clean and access to the water was excellent!!! We didn't kayak, but there were some available for use. The host was always quick to answer any questions and very accommodating! If you're looking for a relaxing weekend this is it! Hope to be back soon!!

Memorial Day

Beautiful property and house right in the water! Lots to do, kayak, horseshoes, swimming, and the view from the deck is lovely. Plenty of room for the 8 adults to eat in the kitchen or play games in the living room. We’ll be back next year!

Family Getaway

Eclipse getaway on Buchanan Lake

Magical! The decks were well used and offered beautiful views of the lake and eclipse. We also lucked out on the weather. Kayaking was lovely. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was very well appointed. There was some sort of ‘event’ at the dam with loud music all night- probably eclipse related. The house was well insulated so we didn’t hear the music from inside. I’d highly recommend this stay.

Wedding Weekend

Rented this house for my daughter’s nearby wedding. Nice house in a secluded area w a great view. House was very clean. Owner of property was easy to communicate with & was flexible for our needs. Overall good experience. Would recommend this house to others.

Great visit and host!

We visit hill country at least twice and a year and always enjoy what it has to offer. This time around, we stayed at Connie's place and it did not disappoint! The home was in a great location close to a lot of things including, restaurants, shopping, groceries, bait store, Longhorn Caverns, Marble Falls, Inks Lake, Kingsland, and others too many to mention. Its about a 50 minute drive to Krause Springs but always worth it. The house itself is great with plenty of room and amenities to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The upstairs AC did go out during our stay but the host got on it and it was fixed the next day. Though the dock was dry and the lake super low, we still enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing, and just hanging out by the water star gazing. Great location, great host, and great times. Highly recommend and will come back.

Spartan Race

Me and friends participated in the Spartan race and this house was the PERFECT spot to stay! Very convenient to course! Super nice house with great deck to rest and recover after race! Host was amazing with communication! We are already talking about entering race next year and hopefully this house will be available again!

Weekend family trip

Great location, beautiful sunsets, great deck area. The water was low, but we still enjoyed fishing and skipping rocks and collecting shells. Hiked in close by Inks lake, enjoyed the strawberry farm in Marble Falls and the Longhorn caverns tour. We had to wipe all deck chairs before use because of the pollen. We had to clean off the turf area due to excessive animal droppings.

The property and views are beyond amazing! The beds are so comfortable and the interior design was really nicely done. The landscaping and boat dock were great. The host went above and beyond stocking the home with everything you could possibly want. Thank you for a fun time in a beautiful location!

Great escape!

I've frequented this lovely home on the Lake over the years and love the recent updates! The new beds are super comfy (may even get the same mattress for my house) and the new private deck on one of the lower bedrooms and the patio cover give more enjoyable locations to enjoy the views of the lake. Owner is very quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Multidecks

Great communications with the host. The house was fantastic and well stocked. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was so well stocked that it made the trip so much better than others. Since we are at the lake we always cook all of our meals there and this kitchen was a dream. Everyone in the family rated it higher than others we have stayed in around this area.

Family Lake House Vacation

Our family of five enjoyed a wonderful week on the lake. The view from the decks were beautiful and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the shaded deck and in the evening amazing sunsets with deer walking through the yard. We ate all of are meals in and enjoyed the remodeled kitchen and long dining table. The dock was dry docked due to the drought but we were still able to swim and use the kayaks. Very quiet neighborhood and there was hardly anyone on the lake. We rented a boat with a tube from Thunderbird which is less than 10 min away and would recommend doing. If you’re looking to go off the grid for vacation this is the place. We brought our favorite games including a portable corn hole and a puzzle of a lake house. We hope to be back and make more family memories!

This is a great home for multiple families, kids, and adults. It does have stairs so is not ideal for people who have trouble with them. It's in a nice quiet cove that's perfect for floating, swimming, boating, fishing and watching fabulous Texas sunsets! We've just finished remodeling most of the house, including a brand new kitchen so it's even better than before.
